This is an excellent rice cooker. I have owned one years ago. However, the instructions now state that you can't put anything in the pot except rice. I had to send it back because I need more of a multi-use rice cooker. Does a great job on rice though and I know it will last for many years!

Absolutely in love with mine. I actually found mine on a free table during a college move out weekend and it had a dent in the bowl and outside scratches but all the parts were there and it works perfectly. If it ever breaks I'm for sure buying this model again. Going on 4 years with me plus who knows how many with the previous owner.

We love this rice steamer! This was the third time purchasing the same one to have for use at our condo in America. The first one we purchased more than 22 years ago when we were first married and it was a workhorse for more than 20 years! We used it all the time! The second one was to replace the first one because we have to have our rice perfectly cooked every time!

Non stick is easy to clean. Cooks rice evenly. Superior quality. My old rice maker is a different brand and had no parts available. My new Zojirushi has parts available so I bought it. So far it has made excellent rice and I am glad I found this brand. I have know purchased the 2 lb loaf bread maker and look forward to making bread.
We purchased this rice cooker less than a year ago. It worked really well for up to ~9 months. It’s easy to operate and the rice came out perfectly and it stayed fresh and warm in the cooker for up to 3 days. However, after 9 months, after the rice is cooked, it started to get soaked and smell really bad in the rice cooker after 8 hours. Contacted customer service and they said since it has passed 45 days for return and therefore there’s nothing they could do. Very disappointed because we expected electronics should last at least for couple of years.
I purchase this rice cooker to replace my old one because I couldn't find the inner pot to fit my old one to replace it. My old rice cooker still works since 1992. I love this brand rice cooker. I wouldn't buy any other brand. So far this is a dependable rice cooker for me. I wish I can find ilthe inner pot to replace my old one. I would recommend this rice cooker. Now I will see how this one hold out to my old one. You know how they said nothing is made like they used too. This is the reason why I only give 4 stars because it's too early to give 5 stars. I will revise my review in a few months.
I have a 5 cup, same brand rice cooker at home and it works perfectly so I thought I would buy this 10 cup rice cooker and it would work the same. Unfortunately, the rice cooker does not cook rice thoroughly and the top and middle of the pot is still half cooked or uncooked rice grains. I wonder if through the shipping and delivery process that it was damaged by being thrown and tossed carelessly causing it to not warm and cook rice evenly although there was no physical damage to the product that we could see.

This rice cooker was a house warming gift to my coworker and his family. They enjoyed this rice cooker as it matches with their stainless steel kitchen appliances and how the rice turned out moist and fluffy. This brand and product will last for years to come.
I have been using this brand since the year of 2000,The rice cooker is excellent, keep rice warm and never spoiled and cooks very well.I used this Zojirushi rice cooker to cook white rice, mixed brown/berry/ white rice also to make porridge.When I had my baby, I used this as well to make my homemade baby food with all kind of grains and cooked very well.My babies grew up with this product since they started to eat soft food.The rice cooker last super long since my last baby was born 2010 until now, I am still using the rice cooker and works very well.I loved this brand,From rice cooker, the water warmer with auto boiling back then, the food storage warmer for their school lunches, bottle water
This rice cooker is pretty darn good. I love how I can leave it on after the rice has cooked and the cooked rice does not dry up nor overcook(burn) the bottom portion of the cooked rice. Highly recommend for families who eat a lot of rice considering it cooks up to 10 cups of uncooked rice.
