Best thermos I’ve EVER had to consistently keep hot things hot. Absolutely LOVE it❣️ I’ve Keurigged a cup and then got busy doing something only to come back and remember that I’d made myself a cup. RATS. I can now make a cup of coffee, pop the lid down, and get busy to return and find my drink is still quite nicely hot...for a long time. I’ve even checked the temp w/ a digital thermometer to verify for myself. Yup...still hot.
I've got three of these mugs/bottles - ALL of the lids failed. I got 4 more lids for the 3 bottles and all of those failed. The bottles are excellent, but are unusable once the lids failed.For contrast, I also have the previous generation Zojirushi mugs and none of the lids have ever failed.I like this newer SM-TA series mug better, but unfortunately the lid failure rate (100%) is a deal breaker.
I have not used the mug yet. I bought it to use when I travel and I plan on travelling in April.
The Zojirushi Stainless Steel Mug is fantastic! As a Florida resident, you always need a cool beverage to avoid heat exhaustion. Beverages stay cold/hot for +6 hours in my personal experience. I highly recommend!
