Easy to install, they work acceptably. The carriage tends to stick at the sliding join which is required for adjustable length - I'd recommend spending the extra for the heavy duty tracks (don't do what I did - buy this one, and then have to go back and buy the heavy duty one later).

I bought two of these for my bedroom curtains under 5 kg weight. They are perfectly fine and hold up the curtains ok. They are easy enough to install with two end brackets and two centre brackets for the 150–280 cm length (the smaller packet has 1 centre bracket for 80–150 cm length as an FYI). Just need an electric drill to put up. I didn't extend very much but the gliders can get a touch stuck on the join but not an issue for me as that was at the end of my curtain track anyway.

Good value product and easy to install. The instructions don't tell you how to (top) ceiling mount, but Gales customer service was very helpful and even sent me a couple of extra centre mounts express post (they are used without the bracket for top mount) The hooks don't glide past the expansion joint very well, and will get stuck if you leave unused hooks on the rail. I cut the main rail to the half way point so each curtain effectively has it's own track and then both curtains glide smoothly.

The curtain clips get snagged on the join. I ended up cutting the rail so that the join was in the middle - problem solved. Requires a hacksaw or in my case an angle grinder, and a bit of patience.
Very disappointing. This is not "heavy duty". Plastic pull mechanism is plastic and with use and sunlight will break. There is a lot of stress on these parts. Previous "heavy duty" version was metal. Why oh why in the desire to make items more cheaply would you make the product so prone to breakage? Changing these rods is not an easy task. For the sake of a few cents make these essential parts metal?
Had problems with the cord, right hand side track opened and closed but the left hand side closed but didn't open...Not ideal for heavy drapes. More for light drapes.Price was good though...
I brought tracks from a well known store and they were not worth the money I paid for them. Was looking through Bunnings on line and found some heavy duty tracks and thought, I have never had anything fall apart so lets buy them. They have been up for a while now and no problems. They work perfectly. Next time I want curtain tracks Bunnings is the first place I will go.
Bought four of these and discovered that you really do get what you pay for. They are the most useless curtain tracks I have ever seen. They stick, they don’t open or close the curtains properly from the cord that you have to finish by hand. Do yourself a favour and buy better quality. Even though the better ones will cost you more initially you will save money in the long run
This is good value considering the price. I was having trouble with one side not closing with my heavy blockout curtains, but I found a video on YouTube called restring traverse cord by Blind Shade Repair that showed the tip to tie the cord on the second carrier so it's not pulling through, and that did the trick. Now they work fine.I also saw the comments about the hooks catching in the join so I just put a bit of sticky tape over that and it's never been an issue.
I brought an extendable curtain track for pleated curtains . When unwrapping I was concerned how thin the metal was. As I had organised a handy man to put up he installed. The railing sagged in the middle. there was no centre support but he managed to use some fittings he had to prop up the centre part to take the weight of the curtains. The curtain werent net but fabric was fairly light wait . Very disappointed. Poor quality
