Zoom G6 Multi-Effects Processor 2021

This os outstanding for the price. A ton of amps, cabs, IRs and effects plus looper and drum tracks. The zom amp and cab models are outstanding. There is even a model optimized for 7 string guitars. You are limited to 9 total effect slots, which is more than enough for me. This unit also functions as a recording interface. The presets are average at best but programming could not be more simple. I have deveoped great patches with minimal effort. You cannot beat the G6 witout spending 700+ in my opinion. Get it!

This comes with a bunch of pre-installed tunes that are great, and it has a ton of extra blank spots to make your own sound as well. I also love that it also comes with the computer program for making your own music. The extendable storage also adds to the abilities to do more with a SD card. My only complaint is with a Bluetooth accessory you can purchase separately that allows you to connect to the app. It only works with iOS. Hopefully Zoom will add support to android, but seeing that the Bluetooth device has been out for some time, I doubt it. Overall I am already having a great time playing with the G6!

Great sounds. Multiple in/ outs. Touch screen easy to navigate. Stomp switches well set out for live performance. Sleek design an pleasing aesthetics.

Classic tones variations on a digital platform

It wasn't a first choice. My original choice of pedal was going to be the Headrush MX5 but after seeing comparison videos including the one PMT done themselves on YouTube, I opted for the Zoom BY instead and couldn't be happier about my final decision. Screen is only slightly bigger than the MX5 and the unit itself is bigger aswell but seeing as this would be third Zoom pedal (having already owned a GFX-707 & G1) I knew that the FX would be perfect and with it being user friendly. The only drawback I found was that it stated that with a Bluetooth adapter it can be controlled from your phone to change tracks played that are saved on a SD card when inserted into the port on the unit. It has Great Sounds and a lot to offer for the price

The first thing that I look for in a multi effects pedal is does it have a nice warm clean sound and this pedal has it.The second thing that I look for is does this pedal have a nice sounding wah, this pedal has it.The third thing that I look for, does this pedal have nice overdrives and distortions this pedal has them..In the final thing that I look for is how does this pedal sound with my Princeton reverb..... Gorgeous!!!!Running this through my Princeton reverb or straight to the board, I don't need anything else.. I am about to sell all of my analog pedals.. I don't ever see me pulling them out again..The setup and navigation is easy to make adjustments on the fly..This unit does have some shortcomings:1. The looper is in the wrong position in the signal path.. they put it right before the drum machine, aux in nor the USB inputs, so you cannot loop the drum machine, aux in nor the USB inputs... Furunately, The looper and drum machine plays good togather. Put you can only save the guitar when storing your loops...Zoom, could you please move the looper to the end of the signal chain to remedy this..2. The drum machine has no foot switch to start or stop it you have to bend over and press buttons not a biggie but an inconvenience..Other than those two cons, for me this pedal plays good and sounds good. I see myself using this as my main source of effects, try it out I think you'll like it for the price

One really bad flaw - rhythm function hard to use

I use this to practice with headphones so I don't disturb my neighbors. It works well and is easy to dial in the sounds I was looking for. The looper is a great feature, especially with the SD card's added flexibility. I also use this when I am accompanying a soloist either a singer or sax player. The sounds are really good.However the biggest disappointment I have with the unit is that the ONLY way to start and start the drum rhythms is by opening the rhythm control on the screen. You have to reach down, select the rhythm function and touch start and stop. There is no way to use a foot switch to star or stop this. So even with the count in, you have to reach down and press start. Review of Zoom H6 Handy Portable Recorder in Black

Excellent sound quality for music. Good microphone included. Shows all subtleties and nuances of piano music - (including unintentional mistakes!). Much improved quality after my old Zoom H2. Well pleased. It would have been even better if a mains adapter was included.

Review of Zoom Livetrack L-8 Digital Mixer

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT

Used to LOVE Zoom. Still have vocal effects unit from them and it's super. If you're thinking of this LOUSY pedal 1.) Unlike nearly EVERY OTHER MULTIEFFECTS PEDAL EVER - the Expression pedal does NOT double as a volume pedal - it's ONE or the OTHER. 2.) Processor is too small and silly to actually use any of the three or four cooler effects without sacrificing so much in your signal chain you're sorry you tried 3.) RIDICULOUS LAYOUT on the touch screen will have you returning to the home screen between EVERY FUNCTION -Hope you have a lot of patience 4.) Had the unit four months and the Stereo ( Main) audio jack is TOAST.... Which tells me inside this PLASTIC piece of absolute JUNK- EVERYTHING IS Micro circuit board ( explains the one function volume/or/ Wah pedal ... MoreUsed to LOVE Zoom. Works great for weekly stage performances

The G6 works great for detailed effects with customization. It's like having dozens of pedals in one package and allows patch groups for each song. Favorites are UK30 (Vox AC30 etc.) Delays are awesome and tuner with analog meter auto mutes perfectly for live performances. I could not be happier for a pedal design and sound quality.
