Fan is slightly noisy but if you are gaming you won't notice it over the game sounds.I bought this because it was the only card available when they came out that I could get my hands on. But given the price of cards and availability it was worth it.Even though performance is slightly less than a Founders Edition it is still a decent card.8 out 10.

This is one of the ' cheaper' rtx 3070s so I didn't expect miracles; however the price I had to pay (£580 for a mid-range card) I thought would warrant a bit better cooling solution. The card overall isn't horrible, works and the NVidia chip is actually quite nice but there are few issues I had to deal with. If your power supply cables are 6+2, thick and rigid like mine (Corsair RM650X) you ARE GOING to struggle to fit them in. I don't have sausage fingers and usually have no problem to get my hands into the tight spaces but this was a challenge. Be careful as you are likely going to bend the fins of the heatsink in the process, it’s very easy, trust me. Second issue, far more significant is the COOLING solution itself. I don’t think it is adequate. This card has about 220W max power limit, one of the lowest but it still struggles to cool it. On default settings this card is loud, hot and heavily throttles, you will see it constantly hitting the power limit ceiling. I have fairly well ventilated case but I would still get the glass window of the case side hot. I also observed significantly increased temperature of other components located near the card. Tbh, the fan is LOUDER than my former card –tuned Vega 56 blower (!) card - I just couldn’t accept it. People saying the card is not noisy are probably playing wearing headphones or running not very demanding games with locked framerate. I had no choice but to tame this card as well so I undervolted it. I found the optimal power consumption / noise / temperature ratio at about 0.85V and 1815 mhz so no silicon lottery won this time. I lost some performance (about 5%) but at least it is now quiet, cool and the power consumption is reduced. Can I recommend this card? Definitely not, especially at those prices and I will try to swap for something better once availability improves. I can recommended the seller, though as Scan delivered what they promised (as usually) and judging by current prices, decided to just shave me rather than openly scalp.

Have 3. 2 are okay, performance wise they are great. 1 card however the bearings have gone in 1 fan so it's wobbling and clipping the edge of the enclosure. All 3 cards when the fans are set to 100% last for a few weeks / month then it drops off according to MSI Afterburner. They are now operating at 89, 90% and the wobbly one is at about 36% (but its other fan is probably around 90% so still keeps the card at normal temperatures. Cannot get white replacement fans for it either so when I do come to replace it, it will have black fans which is annoying. The stickers on the fans also get discoloured and go a yellow colour due to heat.
My hand was forced after my previous GPU died! Massively overpriced, but unfortunately given the current situation nothing we can do about that. Great card with the performance you'd expect, the card itself is the perfect size for my small mATX build around 2/3 the size of my last card (MSI tri-frozr) was a bit of a squeeze! Runs a little hot in my opinion, average is around 65 under full load but have seen it get up to 75! Doesn't effect performance in anyway, this is due to it only being dual fan, I plan to water cool it anyway. Overall great GPU, small size is perfect for small cases like mine. Runs a little warm but no effect in performance and fans aren't that loud. Can't say it's value for money what you know what the RRP should be!
I managed to get this for only a few hundred dollars over MSRP, which is at least better than most of the scalpers who charge twice that much. As soon as I got it, I removed the original heatsink and fans, replaced them with a Barrow 3070 waterblock, and attached it to my custom water loop... which performed absolutely horribly, the GPU shot up to >90 C under any amount of load. I was worried the GPU was damaged, but I replaced that with a Bykski waterblock, which is doing much better; after half an hour of stress tests, the GPU has just barely reached 65 C, and I can play games in 4k at >100 FPS with all of the settings maxed, no problems.
Nothing but good experiences so far, this is an excellent card for 2K gaming and also bulldozing your way through poorly optimized games if you like that indie stuff. As stated previously, thermals have been consistently good in a high airflow case. The smaller cooler and minimal area of pass-through cooling doesn't seem to be slowing it down much. If you have a much more restrictive case or feel the need to overclock as soon as you take it out of the box, your mileage may vary. But if anyone else was worried about the cooler like I was it seems to be perfectly functional. I've only had this for a few months, so if it fails I will update this review, but I've had good luck with Zotac stuff in the past.
My only complaint as a novice gamer is th fact that it can be pretty loud with the fans when it's getting warm. Currently mine is sitting at 76 celsius when I play overwatch at max graphic settings. Still working on my fans and getting them situated to try and help it stay cooler. Yet when it hits about 69+ celsius it gets pretty loud with its fans. It's not so bad to where if you have noise cancelling headphones and are doing or listening to something you won't notice it. You will however if you are it using headphones. Looking into more cooling options, it's never gotten past it's set limit of 83 celsius so far, yet the boise at times can be annoying to say the least. Performance wise though it works extremely well, and gets the job done. Pretty good gpu, the rtx 3070 is about the biggest GPU I can fit into the micro-ATX case I have and after the last few years of outrageous pricing I'm happy to have found one for $360ish. Price was good packaging was hella extra with a nesting doll of boxes and padding and I'm quite happy with that. I've been editing videos and playing Overwatch 2 and Warzone 2.0 and both perform a lot better than my GTX 1080. I'm happy.

Also according to larger reviews, the Zotac RTX Twin Edge cards have an incredibly successful OC ability. You can definitely run this in an ATX or ITX small form factor case. Another factor which is increasingly impressive over the lifespan of Zotac's technology is that during normal desktop productivity the fans will turn off if they are not needed. This will greatly extend the lifespan of the card as well as save you quite a bit in electricity cost during operation. I bought 2 of them but found that I will only use 1 so I do have an extra one still in it's original box and sealed. Never opened.
