This Zotac RTX 4090 is over double the performance of my old RTX 3090 in games and only using 200-250w with a 60% Power limit.
Great card. Can run most games at 4k in triple digit frame rates although it is power hungry as a consequence, sometimes hitting the vendor imposed 490w vbios cap. Zotac did a good job on this one, thermals stay within 65c under high load even when overclocked thanks to the ridiculously huge cooling solution on this thing. I'm also using the 12 pin daisy chain adaptor included with the card and so far its working as intended. Overall I can 100% recommend the amp extreme 4090 by Zotac if anyone is on the fence with which vendor to go with.
Definitely the best 4090. Stays very cool about 65°c and if use the quiet bios its very silent. The looks are very sexy and its the same size as my old 3090 aorus xtreme.
Although expensive I actually got this card on offer so it was cheaper than its lower boosted counterparts. I also picked ZOTAC because if you register your card on their site after buying it, then you get a 5 year warranty unlike all other card manufacturers that seem to give just 3 years. (Note: Warranties do not transfer to a new owner, if you buy it then only you can register it with your address and only you can claim the warranty for a fault).I do also have to say that the air cooling on this card is just totally great, I have a Torrent Black RGB case so the airflow is better than most cases to start. However, this card running at full tilt hits about 50-60 degrees in my case. Performance is phenomenal but as most people point out, it is a ridiculously priced card and out of the range of most gamers. I'd go for a 4080 or the AMD XTX equivalent if costs are an issue. The RGB was a bit of a pain, firstly, to connect the ARGB cable is a total pain, the pin connector is buried inside the GPU structure and unless you have tiny baby fingers then you're not getting it on easily, I used a combination of pure luck and a pc screw driver to get it on. The ARGB also seemed to have issues with being connected to my cooler master controller and didn't respond to commands, so I've had to install the ZOTAC software to control it all in the end. Overall for what a GPU is actually about, this is just a cracking card in every way, everything is so beautiful now but the price is silly.
looks great, with negligible coil whine, but the horrible fan motor noise destroyed this card. Thanks to Nemo S's good service I will continue shopping at OcUK.
