I’ve bought several sets of steak knives. These are my favorite. The small serrations allow the knives to be efficient and pleasing to use. And they are half the price of many other sets. A bonus.

I received my first set of these at least 10 years ago. They have stayed wonderfully sharp and comfortable in the hand. Recently (after 10 years of use!) two of the handles have cracked. There was no question that I would buy another set of four, they're certainly a bargain at this price! We love these knives and use them all the time.

I ordered a different set of knives, but I never received it and was never notified that no inventory was available and was order was going to be cancelled. I ordered this set and it took four weeks to arrive. I received an email after a few days that it was delayed and that they were going to rush it.The product came three weeks after this and I never received any other emails on the status of the product. I had to call customer service 3 times, waiting as long as 45 minutes to speak to an agent. The option for call back is offered, but does not work. I'm so happy with these knives. They were actually an impulse purchase online and came out to be better than I could have imagined. These knives feel nice in the hand, have a nice weight to them, and cut beautifully. The construction is solid with the blade going through the handle. Having a lifetime warranty and being dishwasher safe is an added bonus.
What is with Macy's quality control? This is the second time in less than six months I've received an item that should never have been shipped. The steak knife box had been opened and the handle on one of the knives was cracked! I will now have to hassle with a return. But, honestly, the bigger issue is the cracked knife handle, I have serious reservations about the overall quality of any new knife with a cracked handle, and while the blades appear good quality, the handles clearly are not. I will not purchase a replacement. I also ordered a Zwilling Pro knife block set which hasn't arrived yet, but am now not sure about that product if they use the same material for handles. Perhaps good old fashioned wood handles would be better. Returning, and cannot recommend.
This review was collected as part of a paid promotion. I have been using the Zwilling Twin Gormet knives for the past 15+ years. They are hands down the best steak knives that I have ever owned. They last quite a long time. I purchased 4 more because after 15+ years of weekly use they are not as sharp as they used to be, but still excellent. I plan to keep on using the originals in addition to the new ones.
Zwilling is one of my major go-to brands when shopping for reliable kitchen knives. These are no different. They are very well made, nicely balanced and as sharp as you'd expect from Zwilling. I found it odd that the packaging said "MADE IN GERMANY", but the blade was stamped with "MADE IN SPAIN". Doesn't matter to me--these could not have been made better. This item page also says "MADE IN SPAIN" so I assume it was older-style packaging.If you need a good set of steak knives you can rely on? Get these. No regrets.
Nicely balanced and weighted. Satiny smooth wood handles. They slice easily through meats. Made with quality to last several lifetimes. I do wish the center rivets were laser inscribed with their Zwilling logo as stated on the package, but acceptable to me even though they are not. They did ship quickly, and we're securely packaged.
These are beautiful steak knives! The product listing states that they are dishwasher safe, so I hope that they will stay beautiful despite heavy use and frequent runs through the dishwasher. Time will tell.
I order two sets of four knives with the black handles, and they sent me one of those and one of a totally different type with metal handles. They don't match at all. there was no courtesy call or email. I needed eight knives. The original set was four knives. I ordered 2 sets at a very good sale price, but it is no longer available. But that's probably why they substituted, but they should have let me known so I could choose another option for a complete set of eight matching knives.
