Zwilling J.A. Henckels 8pc Stainless Steel Serrated Steak Knife Set

Despite advertisement of dishwasher friendly, please don’t! Resist the urge! These knives remain fantastically shiny and believe it or not, resistant to dulling, with hand washing in warm suds. Some offerings of this brand are premium grade, and others are, shall we say, ‘economy’ grade. Both are far above some other brands. Nevertheless, a good honing stone and knife sharpener are good investments to resuscitate your knives.

I recently got these as a housewarming gift and am so impressed by the quality and the performance of these steak knives. This brand is definitely in the higher price range, but for good reason. The quality does not disappoint! These have superb cutting ability and are also aesthetically pleasing. They are also entirely stainless steel, which makes them match my existing cutlery set. Highly recommend!

Best Steak Knife Set Out There

Simply the best steak knives I have ever owned or used! And I am 65 years old and have eaten a lot of steak and meat meals. These have such a solid feel to them, with great balance and they hold an edge very well. They cut through the toughest pieces of meat with ease. I have bought two sets, the second now for my daughter. Having 8 knives in the set also means no mismatched utensils for larger get togethers. Try them and you will not be disappointed.

Excellent product

We bought a set of the Stainless Steel knives about 10 years ago and they're still in perfect condition. We purchased a second set to replace a couple of the knives that were accidentally thrown away. We probably won't need more knives for another 10 years!! Still as sharp as the day we got them and they look perfect after soooo many dishwasher washings since there are no wood handles to dry out! Can't miss on these knives!

Excellent quality!! One-piece construction

Love these knives! We have bought other quality knives with added on black handles. Even though they were expensive, the black handle parts always eventually break off. These knives have the handle built in - made out of the stainless steel. The one piece construction makes them very sturdy and beautiful. This is our second set.

Sharp and sturdy steak knives

These knives are sharp and sturdy with a good weight. The serrated blads cut well and the wooden handles are riveted. Great value everyday use.

Sturdy & very sharp.

Have the older style and these are replacements. Old ones are still good. These are very nice also. Extremely sharp and slightly larger. Will last for many years to come. Giving old ones to son for even more use.

You Get What You Pay For

Henckels are normally extremely expensive knives because they are top of the line. These were on sale and there is a reason. Although the blade itself is great, the handles are very slim and hard to handle. Imagine trying to cut a steak with a very sharp razor. Although the blade may be sharp, the lack of heft to the handle makes it very difficult to maneuver properly. If your hands are even a bit wet, it's almost impossible. These may be better for someone in the early 20s/30s than folks in their 50s/60s.I'll be buying a different set of knives, but I will probably still get them from JCP. Although these knives are not good for us, they have others that will be more appropriate.

[Rewarded Review] Excellent cutlery for steak night!

Received the 8 piece stanless steak knives for Christmas and they work like a charm. They cut steak very easily and they look fantastic on the table. Much improved on my old steak knives which have been kicked to the curb. Thank you Zwillng for and excellent product!

Very nice knives the one peice construction not only looks nice but is easy to keep clean. Nice weight and feels good holding it and cutting. Cuts well.I really like this design. I've never much liked steak knives with large wooden or black handles. These cut like a steak knife but look and feel more like a table knife and doesn't look out of place next to most stainless steel flatware sets.Washed them a few times and in the dishwasher a couple of times. Holding up well. These are the JA Henkels International line with is a more affordable line. Unlike the main Henkel's line with the two men on the logo, this line is made in Asia but still backed by Henkels. I'm very happy with them.
