Zwilling Spirit 3-Ply 3-Qt Stainless Steel Saute Pan

This is a great pan for classic simmering, braising, pan frying. A one pot meal is a cinch in this 5-qt pan. it easily cooks for 4-8 people. It's well made and so versatile. It heats quickly, holds the heat and cooks evenly. It can take high heat for stir-frying and searing, or low heat for braising and simmering. It has 3 layers of clad metal - a thick interior layer of aluminum sandwiched between two layers of 18/10 steel.Because it cooks so evenly - no burn spots and clean-up is easy. It is dishwasher safe, but if you can, hand wash. It will look like new for years and years and years to come.

Buyer Beware

I have had this pan for 4 months and the handle is already loose. The "lifetime warranty" is a joke. You have to pay to send back your pan for 4-6 weeks while they inspect for approval. I'm not going to go without a pan for a month and pay to ship it back when this is a quality issue on their part.

Great pan but size misleading

This is my 3rd zwilling spirit pan. 5quart sauté pan is great but the sizing is misleading. It is 4.2 quart not 5. It might sound small but having a 3 quart, I wanted to have a 5 quart. Disappointed with the misleading details in the listing.

Great quality and performance!

I have been looking for a medium-sized saucepan, and finally meet it! Its size, weight, and fit are great. Sauces made with it are all delicious. Though I have not tried, oven-ready is another good feature. I like it and it will be my life-long companion!

Great saute pan

I have been looking for a stainless steel saute pan for some time after trying a bunch of non-stick saute pans that didn't last long or performed poorly. I have been using Zwilling products for the past few years and bought a stainless steel version of the saute pan. I have been very impressed by the quality of the construction and the ease of usability. It has been a wonderful experience so far. This is my 5th Zwilling pan and I can see myself continue purchasing from them.

Great saute pan

This is a great stainless steel saute pan. I really love the handle on this saute pan, the long handle stays cool to touch and I love using it as a spoon rest for my spatulas and turners. The 5 qt. Saute pan can hold a lot of food, perfect for families and dinner parties. I love how you can take it from the stove top to the oven. It is really well made, it doesn't warp and really retains the heat well. I also like that it’s a polished stainless steel, and not mirrored, it looks more premium that way. This is a great stainless steel fry pan, I’m really impressed with the Spirit collection.

I can't wait to own a whole set!

We strolled into a cookware store downtown where I live..It was like Christmas walking into that store. I cook every single day, and I dream of filling my kitchen with it all. Walked past the zwilling pots and pans and I picked it up..I thought to myself that I would use this every day..and kind of brushed it off, didn't plan on actually buying it..but, I did! And it's probably the best purchase I've made in months. It heats so evenly, and it's such a nice size. Has a permenant residence on my large burner. I'm going to go back for the frying pan soon, and I'm really looking forward to it.

I’ve never seen such an even boil!

Recently moved into my first home so figured it was time to start investing a little bit into some quality cookware. Im so over the ceramic cookware thing- the stainless steel is so gorgeous and it’s cleans up just as easy as any ceramic pan I’ve used. It heats so evenly as well- so far I’m loving cooking with it! Glad I’ve found a brand with really quality cookware that doesn’t break the bank.

Started to peel around the edges

I have had this pan for about a year now, for months I avoided putting it in the dishwasher to avoid any color changes, but it's just not sustainable to do all your pans by hand. I own a few of these pans and the coating is starting to peel off of every one of them. I am assuming its from the dishwasher, but the product does say dishwasher safe. It's a bummer because the pans are not inexpensive and now they just look bad. I would not purchase these again.
