When I first sniffed this delicious dog food, I went bonkers! I couldn't wait to try! [This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] My beautiful German Shepherd Ben absolutely loved these biscuits! They are very high in protein and I feel they are a great all round dog food for growing dogs. He has been eating these for just over a week now and his coat looks in really good condition. Will definitely be buying these for his future biscuits of choice. The photo shows a picture of Ben enjoying them with his mum Chloe. I feel the optimum brand is fairly high quality comparing to others we have tried and tested.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] My fussy little mini Doxy, Dora, is elderly now, and has lost a few teeth, but she gave these crunchy bites all that she had! She must have enjoyed the smell, because she dove right in, and gummed up a few pieces at record speed. I usually use a mix of wet food with a little dry, and these are never left until later, like with our previous brand, so I count it as a huge success. I do pour some hot water on to them first, to soften, then she is good to go. Just brilliant. I gave it one point less, due to how hard they are. I think they would perfectly suit a younger dog, with all their teeth intact, but we found a way around it.

These are great treats and healthy to. The other treats I was giving my fur baby she would only eat certain flavours. These where great, i opened the pack gave her a few and she loved them straight away! They also stayed fresh longer than other treats even with the self closing packet, my fur baby she would sit near the bench when it was breakfast time as she knew these where coming where other treats she wasnt that fussed about but she really loved these highly recommend to anyone with a fur baby
And they actually taste a like chicken, I couldn't help myself. But unlike me, my dog is the fussiest beast i have ever owned. She will come up to here dinner bowl to check out what I have given her, have a sniff, and walk away most times. Not with these though, she would finish the whole lot in no time flat, which means they must be good, because she is a very fussy eater. I have tried to give her other dried biscuits before and she has turned her noose up at them. Not these. Must be good if my dog eats them. Definitely recommend especially for fussy dogs. Now it' a race between me and her to see who gets to them first!
I changed to optimum mature as my 8 year old golden retriever was having a few joint issues especially jumping in the car. This dry food seems to have helped and she is more mobile. Also good that it is smaller in size so easier to chew. I would definitely recommend it.
My dog is extremely picky when it comes to anything - but especially her dry dog food biscuits. We have purchased numerous brands over the years only to have her turn her nose up them and walk away. We've been forced to give them away to pooch-owning friends. But Optimum Mature was spot on for our dog. She is in her maturing years and is after something a bit softer, smaller, easier to chew and this ticks all those boxes. She gulped it down and turned to us for more. Right on, dog.
I have an older female German Shepherd who can sometimes be a little fussy when it comes to trying different foods. Introduced the Optimum mature chicken, vegetables & rice slowly & to my surprise she absolutely loved it. Gave her more each day & she gobbled it up without hesitation. Good size biscuits, easy to munch on & healthy for her as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone who has any breed of dog.
This dog food has been specifically designed for older dogs 7 years plus, with joint health in mind. My big 10 year old Rottweiler loves this food, and I have really noticed a difference in his coat since switching his dry food to this. There has also been a major difference in his poops (more solid, sorry if tmi).It makes me happy to know I am using a premium food to support his overall health as he ages.We had no trouble switching from his previous grain free diet to this. The biscuits are quite small as well, and therefore suitable for a dog of any size.
I have never purchased this food before.I will continue to purchase this brand.My girls can be fussy when it comes to dry food.They absolutley gobbled this up and sat waiting for more.It was easy for them the chew and even their number two's looked alot healthier( if you can say that)Everytime we put this out they ate it all normally the cheap brands can sit for days and be thrown out NOT the OPTIMUM all goneThey LOVE IT.
