Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court – but at a steep cost. Though she now possesses the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people. Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, the mesmerising High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates his dark web of political games and tantalising promises, a greater evil looms – and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can step into her growing power, heal her fractured soul and have the courage to shape her own future – and the future of a world cloven in two. Sarah J. Maas is a global #1 bestselling author. Her books have sold more than nine million copies and been translated into 37 languages. Discover the sweeping romantic fantasy for yourself.

This entire series is INCREDIBLE. ACOMAF is the book that focuses on bad boy Rhysand and who does not love a sexy, mysterious, tall dark and gorgeous High Lord. His character is a direct contrast to seemingly good guy Tamlin from the Spring court in book 1 and SJM definitely paints the picture of the perfect fae male to make readers SWOON! ACOMAF introduces the the night court and the City of Velaris which is written to perfection. Excellent book snd fantastic series!!

I have to admit book 1 left me in an uproar. I wasn’t happy about the ending and new development with Rhys. However, this book left gawking and wanting nothing but to be in the night court surrounded by the “bat boys†There are a lot of reviews stating you can skip the first book and start with this one. That’s not true. You must read the first book in order to fully understand the character growth and the relationships currently building. I also give this 5 stars because though it has some “very Frisky†scenes there’s an amazing plot. Some adult romance novels have more “sassy time scenes†and not enough plot and building in the relationships. This book has everything you crave and more! I highly recommend!!! My current read! Acotar series has been amazing so far! I read the first book and the second book picks up from where it left off. Sarah J. Maas writes a thrilling, intriguing, mythical series that keeps you turning the pages. So far this book and series has kept me interested and dying to know more. I highly recommend this series to anyone interested in fantasy, I was unsure how I would like these books but have ended up loving them! 🥰📚

MY FAVORITE BOOK OF THE ENTIRE SERIES! Chapter 54… 🥹😭 Will recommend these books until the day I die. As an avid reader it’s not always that you’ll find a book that will leave you with a book hangover and with so much feeling that you want to explode. This series does that. I have reread it multiple times and it is probably one of my absolute favorite series I have ever read or will ever read.

A Court of Thorn and Roses readers keep reading ! The first book lured me in, but this book made me stay ! This was my favourite book in the series, so much happens in this book, I feel in love with the new worlds and characters and their dynamics. This book was an emotional roller coaster and kept me captivated with the plot, I finished this book in 3 days I loved it so much. While scrolling through the ACOTAR’s fan base, there were so many references for chapter 55 and all I have to say, is it definitely did not disappoint! I highly recommend if you’re looking for a new series to dive into, and you really enjoy YA, Fantasy, Romance, Fae etc…

A Case in Which the Sequal is Better

This is absolutely one of my favourite books. The chemistry between the two main characters is sexy, intense and so so sweet. If there was a fictional world I could live in, it would be Velaris. Sarah J Maas has an incredible way of world-building and making you feel part of the story. There's so much character development and the relationships between the Inner Circle are so beautiful and really make this book even more incredible than it is. If you didn't like ACOTAR, I still recommend reading this book as it takes a turn and goes in a whole different direction. If you did like ACOTAR then you're going to love this book. I highly recommend this book (and series!)

Amazing!

A Court of Mist and Fury is the second book in the ACOTAR series. After reading the first book, I felt so-so about the series; however, after this book I am COMPLETELY IN! . Let me address my big elephant in the room: Feyre. I strongly disliked her in the first book. By the end, I tolerated her. Now, I get it. I absolutely love her. She is everything everyone said. So okay, I admit I was wrong about her. . In my opinion, this second book is the beginning of a love story. It is also the build up to a war. I don’t want to give too much away to anyone who hasn’t read the series. All I can say, is if you love fantasy or even if it isn’t your favorite, I could see you falling in love with this series. It has a little bit of everything for everyone. This book is just so ... MoreA Court of Mist and Fury is the second book in the ACOTAR series. Loved this book; was a great second installment to the series and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in a fanasty read with an element of romance. This books arrived within days of ordering, so I wasn't left waiting for long and it arrived in great condition. Overall, I would highly recommend this book and buying from booktopia.

This was on everyone’s top book of 2016 list, so I wanted to give it another try. I attempted to read this in the past and only made it about 50% through before I DNF it. I picked it up again and still could not get into it, so I put on the audiobook. I am learning that I enjoy fantasy books in audio format, and can get more into this way. I loved the audiobook!I love Rhysand! He just makes me smile. Feyre was annoying at times, but then again I always forget how young she is in the story. I love the side characters and the parts they play in everything going on.I am glad I gave this another chance though. I think the information towards the last half of the books gets so much better. I loved the last 20/30 percent. The ending is so good, and I do recommend ... MoreThis was on everyone’s top book of 2016 list, so I wanted to give it another try. The parts that are boring are boring, and the parts that are good are exciting. I am still not in love with SJM writing, but I will continue to follow through with this series.

✨ Things I LOVED about A Court of Mist and Fury! ✨* Rhys has WAAAYY more of a storyline this time around and despite my first thoughts of him from ACOTAR, I've completely turned around since then. That being said, I am someone who always gives second chances! Go Rhysand! You have won my heart, High Lord.* If you think there's any book that is written better than this, apart from the Throne of Glass series of course, then we're going to have a problem. Well not really, I don't like fighting over what series is better but I cannot accept that anyone would not like these books. Both of Sarah's book series are currently being adapted for the big screens! ACOTAR will be a movie trilogy and ToG will be a TV series! Both of Sarah's book series are currently being adapted for the big screens! ACOTAR will be a movie trilogy and ToG will be a TV series! Nothing would be better to replace Game of Thrones and Divergent with than these two! Yup, I'm a happy chick!* Feyre learns that she got a little extra mojo from all the High Lord's of Prythian than just her High Fae form! I mean (ACOTAR SPOILER COMING.....) being resurrected by each of the strongest High Fae's in the land doesn't come without a price. And if Feyre's going to have any bigger purpose in this novel, it's going to have to be this way and I'm not even disappointed in the slightest! But you could tell that already anyway so I'm just going to wait patiently for the movie of ACOTAR and TV show of ToG to come out!* Could this novel have gotten any steamier- I mean I know Sarah mentioned that she had basically banned her family from reading it but that alone did not prepare me for what was to come! I don't usually like anything that resembles erotic fiction - however the content inside this book was actually bearable enough that I didn't put it down. Maybe it was just the love of the relationship and feels that came with it or maybe it was because I knew there was more to it than just the act. Either way it was the definition of #RelationshipGoals and that's what I loved most about it (This last part may or may not have made me want to cry because this relationship definitely wouldn't exist in real life because males don't seem to be as perfect as this one did unfortunately...).I loved this book more than words can explain and for that I have to give it a 5 out of 5 stars! Not just because I seem to love ALL of Sarah's books and that is mostly so because of the fact that she is an amazing author and actually does slay the author game with every book she writes. (Plus I've been using her first name instead of her last name because I think once you've met the author, it's safe to say you've passed that stranger line "inserts cool emoji here"). Thanks for making my month yet again and I'm stoked that Empire of Storms is coming out in the next month because I'm going to need another massive dose of awesome feminist power from Aelin very, very soon!
