I've shopped at Beauty Affairs for a few years now without a problem, however last week my package was stolen- at the fault of the courier. I purchased around $200+ of skincare and was completely devastated when it happened, as I didn't think I would be able to get it resent or refunded because it wasn't Beauty Affair’s fault. I contacted them and to my surprise, they immediately offered to resend or refund my purchase, not only that but they included a gift! I have never had such exceptional customer service from any other company in my whole life! Immediately upon spraying I wasn’t sure whether I liked this fragrance or not as the lilac and florals literally jumped out of the bottle and grabbed me by the throat, after a few minutes it mellowed and a lactic almond started to see through at which point I started to really enjoy the fragrance.It’s a clean, but warm smell and at the same time has a comforting feel too it. Every perfume for me has to have two items that in my opinion are essential: a good and long one fixation and mark my presence through the perfume. I am quite sensitive to perfume odors , so that when someone passes for me with a good perfume leaving that fragrant cloud in the air , I find it admirable ! A Drop d'Issey completes my perfume expectations: striking, lovely vanilla odor, something woody with a sweet floral mix, pleasant smell. Excellent fixation! I used the night and yes I think it was a success because I received many compliments! I marked my presence using Drop d'Issey. Excellent!
If you like Issey Miyake, you will love this fragrance. It really does smell of the list of the ingredients, and each note appears the longer you wear. Perfect fresh daytime, spring, summer fragrance that doesn't rely on coconut. It's more Italian orange grove, than Barbados beach.
A lovely scent. I bought this for my teenage daughter. It's a nice soft and subtle scent. However, they didn't put much thought into the design of the bottle. It's big and clunky and doesn't stand up.
My perfect Summer fragrance! I love florals, but find many of them lack longevity on my skin. This, however, is the exception. It's a quite sophisticated, complex fragrance which although light, has the most amazing dry-down. Don't dismiss it as being "flowers" - it's far more intricate than that! A superb blend that ticks all the right boxes.
Fresh, fruity and floral. Hints of violets. Not dissimilar to original Issey perfume. Good summer daytime perfume. I bought it because the price was a good bargain. Had never smelled it before. Was a very good surprise when it arrived because I actually do like it. Not too sweet. Definitely not child-like. (If you know what i mean? Some perfume can be so sickly sweet i end up giving it away to my teenage niece)Nice for spring/summer.
The scent brings back memories of smelling like my grandma with the baby powder like scent which I personally love. It has good staying power leaves a very nice subtle floral scent by the end of the day. Interesting bottle as I can appreciate the aesthetics it really does look like a water droplet but i felt it was hard to hold and use. I would prefer a more organismic design or a vintage bottle with a puff (for this scent) therefore the half from me.
such a gorgeous, underrated, and near perfect fragrance. i am new to perfume collecting but a drop has quickly become one of my favorites ever! it's a photorealistic lilac + jasmine scent with a creamy, milky almond overtone. it dries down to a lovely woody and slightly sweet scent. it's super clean and easy to wear any time of day or year. if you're looking for something fresh and clean, but not necessarily soapy, this is for you! 10/10 :)
