Afghanistan Under Siege

This story is not for the faint hearted. It is for a reader who is genuinely interested in the culture of Afghanistan, its history, politics, and the impact of invasions over the years c. 1970's-2000 and the subsequent migrations of a people. I couldn't believe what I was reading. I couldn't put it down. The author's words are a powerful portrayal.

Horrifying but good.

It's horrifying to read about the treatment of people, especially women & girls, within the last 30/40 years. An interesting eye opener. Very engaging.
