G'day folks! I recently bought a new storage shed and I'm absolutely rapt with it. The dimensions of 2.3x1.5 make it perfect for my needs and I'm glad I could fit it in my SUV without having to pay for delivery.One of the best things about this shed was the assembly instructions. Thank you Absco Industries for such a beautiful Garden Shed. Purchased the 2.26x2.26 in Monument Colour which looks amazing. Easy to install and fits onto my slab perfectly. The shed is strong and sturdy and great looking in my backyard. Feeling so happy that I purchased the Absco shed.They are built to last as well as my last shed was over 20 years old from Absco and I wanted the new colour Monument.I’d recommend to anyone for Garden Sheds buy Absco.Thank you Sarah Reyes for the great customer service also.😀

I purchased one of your "Premier" sheds to give our little family a safe and secure place to keep our much loved gear. We utilized the assist video, and this made the exercise of assembly so very simple. My wife and I had the assembly complete in less than a day, with the minimum of tools. The absco sheds are good value for money. The build instructions are good and the video on the app helps. It can be challenging for a complete newbie diy-er but people with average to above average diy skills it should be no problem. Common complaints of holes not matching up are valid and I certainly experienced this but it really is no big deal, just drill it out with the provided 3mm bit and you're good to go. In my opinion some make far too big a deal of a small problem. Pro-tip, pre build all panels in a double garage if possible so you can work in peace without worrying about the wind picking up. Definitely grab a mate (or two) for the final assembly as it can be a bugger to hold/prop the panels up. Pick a very low to no wind day for assembly as even the ... I liked that the package came with masonry anchors but did swap out the zinc plated dynabolts with galvanised ones myself. I took a lot of time to read the instructions and also watched the videos! Happy with the end result. Looks like a sturdy shed!!
I bought this shed through Bunnings and had it delivered for free! Easy to build, even easier to instal and fix. The video’s and easy to follow instructions make it a dream!I read a lot of reviews that had negative remarks about this product and decided to trust it anyways. I’m glad I did! I can’t fault it - all parts labelled, all parts arrived. Yes a few holes here and there to be drilled, but it is a BUILD at home design! Things can’t always be perfect. If you have a go getter attitude and a willingness to take your time to achieve a good goal, this is the shed for you! Cheap, good quality, great looking!
This was my second Absco shed that my wife and I have setup. The other one was a little smaller and we finished it a couple of days before this one, so we were pretty much in the know on what to do. All parts are in the box, including a drill bit, screw driver bit, screws, rivets and the lock. The anchor kit is separately and required to tie down the shed to the concrete. When assembling the panels make sure you look at the orientation of the sheets on the instructions because some have to be a certain way to align with other panels later on. The assembly of all the panels together towards the end requires at least 2 people and would be better with a third as the 2.26m x 2m panels can be quite awkward especially if it is windy. Really happy how relatively easy the shed was to put together using screws and not rivets. Unfortunately due to missing rubber washers for the roof section we had the shed built without it and a screwed it with about 6 screws and strong winds came and blew it down. Thankfully Tom from support sent the washers needed and the shed hadn’t suffered much damage and we finished it without too much fuss. Probably about 7-8 hours of work all up with my wife and I. Seems very solid with the proper bolts and brackets used. Happy customers.

Also the detail shows the edge of 29R extending out at 45 degrees, I found that in order to get this sheet edge behind 89B (as shown on page 15), this edge should be bent further inwards closer to 90 degrees, which would have been easier to do before this step.Page 12: This was a bit hard to follow the intention of the manual. Could do with notes drawing attention to which was top and bottom, the narrow pan on 34A, 89A sitting on top of 34A, and the 79C bottom edge sitting inside the 90C channel. Also the video said to use 20mm long screws in the two locations marked in the manual as “no screw”, the video made more sense to me on this point.Page 13: Video is clearer. Also flip panel over and add 4 screws in corners – use shallow head screws (not supplied) to minimise interference when door closes.Page 14: might be worth noting that the diagonal bracing should be skipped if using a CYC15 kit, and the door should only be riveted after box bracing. Detail in bottom left shows a double door picture that was of no help to the single door shed assembly. Also on the single door shed, the pad bolt protrudes past the edge of the shed when fully closed.Page 15: see comment from page 11 re 29R edge angle to fit behind 89B. Due to the 45 degree angle it is easy to get this wrong and end up with 29R outside 89B, at which point the pad bolts will not easily slide through the hasps as they collide with the 29R edge.Page 17: outer most screws shown did not align with punched holes. And now for the kicker: in spite of page 1 saying to make a rebated slab, the diagram at the bottom right of page 17 DOES NOT show a rebated slab. My experience was that the steel angles were too short to place the dynabolts safely away from the rebated edge, and I felt that the short length of the dynabolts would likely have caused the rebate edge to crack. So these parts went on the junk pile and I bought longer brackets and longer ankorscrews instead of dynabolts.Differences between video and printed manual. E.g. page 9, the screws marked “D” for drill are not mentioned in the video. Also on page 9, the detail view in the bottom left shows an overlap opposite to the video and the AR model.AR model was useful, gave a good impression of size of shed in yard. It was also useful reference when instructions were unclear. Would be better for this purpose if rendered with edge lines turned on.App was mostly just a gateway to manuals, AR model and the YouTube videos. It would have been better if it remembered my chosen product and colour, as I had to keep reselecting this every time I opened the app.CYC kit – manual was mostly ok, could do with a bit more clarity re rebated slab. I found that the tek screws worked better with pilot holes. Also found that it was easier to fix parts through wall from inside first with a couple of smaller temporary screws, then do the outside screws, then remove temp screws and replace with proper screws from outside. This allowed me to complete roof reinforcing beams solo.Page 5: I found that the screw spacing for “Install extra fasteners” required a bit of review: B as per diagram for standard kit, with extra screws on skipped pans for front and back. For 296mm centres, D was already as per diagram for standard kit, and E already had more screws than at 296mm centres.Page 6: “C” – instruction is to drill every pan, but I changed this to every ridge for better water tightness. Not sure if this matters that much.Page 7: Step 5 – screwed the boxed frame member together after fitting to the shed, for the inside faces only, as the outside face which is against the wall will have plenty of screws in it already. This avoids screws.Final impressionsNow that all of that is done, the end result is great. Very sturdy, rebated slab was great in recent very heavy rain. Glad I got the CYC kit given high wind loads in its location. Perfect fit inside for Rack-It 1290x530x1500 shelving even with the CYC kit. The CYC beams provide strong points for tool brackets.I have also added some foil tape to close up the holes under the eaves, and I’m planning to add a weather guard to the bottom of the door.
I bought this a month ago paid a carpenter to build as so many bad reviews by home builders, on pre drilled holes not lining up, but since I was paying someone to do job thought it would be ok, could not take back without having the carpenter pull it apart, at even more cost, he eventually got it together, but it leaks. Rang manager before I bought she said we have not had any returned, I asked her "have you read the reviews" she replied "No I never do that". If manager does not read reviews how will they ever get this problem fixed? The is a good size shed, hope to get the leaks fixed. The other thing is the cost of the recommended concrete slab, put down to size of this shed, that will only fit this size shed, another cost for a shed that does not line up! Surely ... Purchased this shed about a month ago. We had a few problems erecting the shed for the following reasons:1. Not all holes were punched through.2. The roof ridge has a sag in it.3.The doors did it line up once fitted.4.Very difficult fitting the last section of roof.5.Screws supplied were not self tapping screws.Some improvements that could be e corporates in the design.1. All roof screws should be teak screws with a grommet2. The bottom rail of the front panel assembly needs to be more substantial’3. Better securing needed on the door lock system as it can be very easily broken in to.
