This machine was easy to set up and has been simple to use. My only issue is it recommends using calibration solution with each new bottle of strips, and the calibration solution is really expensive and extremely hard to find, so I haven't been using it.

The tiny black piece on end of Clixstik lancing device which has the hole where needle punctures through for blood sample kept falling out even after replacing the cartridge and rereading many times exact instructions of set up & operation. Cartridge system with the back of Accu-Chek Glucose Meter is much better - no need fiddling with several pieces of equipment; problem is there auto cartridges aALWAYS have a short shelf life.
Bought it because my wife also use a performer unit and at this time we were advised to use different units. Unfortunately, it does not come with even a single test strip. Would have appreciated and gladly paid a little extra for them even if it was just lazy convenience.
Works with comparable accuracy with my one touch version by my personal experience. Strips are a lot cheaper allowing me to test more often. So great product
I used this product whilst i had Gestational Diabetes. I often got significantly different readings within seconds of previous readings and on different fingers.More concerningly, I used the glucometer at during my follow up Glucose Tolerance Test after my pregnancy ended and got the following readings - 6.1 fasting, 10.5 at one hour and 8.1 at 2 hours. HOWEVER the lab results came back at 4.7, 5.7 and 5.4 respectfully. These objective findings are significant. I do not trust this product, i do not recommend it and i would not use it if i had Gestational or Type 2 Diabetes in the future.
Received the cash back. Have read a lot of positive review about Accu Chek and doing my own test with this product. Seems that there is some differences between Accu Chek and my previous meter. Not too sure which one is correct. Will double check when next time see the doctor.
I used this for gestational diabetes and the reads are soo inaccurate..i can do 2 tests back to back with a variance of 4 whole points! That could be the difference between needing insulin and not...machine has been replaced 2 times under warranty..same issues..
I did buy about a month ago and found it shows what I needed to know about my blood sugar rests.Very happy with it and recommend it for any person who needs to check their blood sugar.Also a good price too.
