I assumed since this product was for something serious as being Diabetic, it would work. It was what the pharmacist pointed out and it was priced cheaply. I bought it and it takes 5 times to get some type of reading. My fingers are getting sore and I just got this. Now I can see I will need a real one to use and trash this one. It is horrible that Walmart allows this

This is my blood sugar levels checker. I am diabetic 2 I take a shot in the morning and at night. And I used a repaid insulin too if I need. That blood sugar tester doesn't really hurt me very much. I pricked my fingers 2 or 3 times a day. I have a new one coming to me soon although. I just got that to hold me over till I get my new blood tester. My Dr nurse gave me it today. I hope that the new one is easy to used too.

Went 1 year without it showing an error code.I was going to buy a new one but I kept inserting the test strips and it started working again! Haven't bought batteries yet.Takes 2 quarter size flat batteries. I've had the same batteries since I purchased the meter over a year ago and their still working!
Have tried everything with this meter and it only comes up with errors all the time error 1,7,10. I have changed batteries tried different strips plugged it into USB port and nothing works. It does connect to Bluetooth and the app and sets time and date but thats it. Very disappointed with this product.
Utter piece of garbage. Not at all easy to use, takes a lot more blood than my old meter, doesn't want to show me the number just hi or low, supplies and case are not user friendly for those with large or arthritic hands. They seem more interested in pressing you to download their ap/use Bluetooth/synch with a computer. My $9 Relion was far superior.
Pros: Easy to use, read and it is compact as well as very affordable. Cons: Don't care for the hard case. Like the soft case better because it doesn't take up as much space. Battery compartment is touchy. Sometime, when you have to change the battery, the unit stops working, thus I had to purchase another. But overall, good little unit.
Test strips are advertised as being "easy to handle"--they aren't. Try to get one out of the container and half a dozen more come out with it. They are also too narrow to be handled the way one is instructed to in diabetes management classes. Also, in order to obtain control solution, one has to contact Accu-Chek and order with a credit card. At least Reli-On doesn't charge for the control solution. Most insurance carriers will not cover Accu-Chek.
This is junk. The photo shows strips, lancets, case and looks ok. It’s actually cheaply made. No meter strips, they are 19.99 extra. Since I can’t return this I’ll just junk it. I have used ACCU-Chek brands for years. I won’t ever buy one again if this is what they make. Lesson learned. I only gave it a 1 because there is no zero.
The paper inside indicates that this system comes with strips, solution, leads, and much more. Actually, it only contains the meter and the lancing device and 10 lancets. It was advertised as a "complete" kit. It cannot be returned!!! I would have given it a zero if that was an option.
