The lavender is great and blends with the cologne structure nicely - this increases the longevity, and I love it! Oakmoss, resins and ylang-ylang give this fragrance a roundness that is not unlike an amber colored bar of glycerine soap--transparent, clean, light and fresh. The jasmine note seems really strong so you better like jasmine with this one. In the dry down, resins are happily present; and this one strikes me as the most unisex out of the all flankers from the line than masculine, rather than vice versa! The woody elements in this keep it neat and give some texture. CA is a very subtle, smooth, resinous perfume with such an understated presence that it seems more like a base than a full-fledged perfume. I'm not that surprised, though, since minimalism is Ellena's signature style. Overall, I think that I find his work more conceptually than perfumically appealing. It looks sophisticated and modern amongst my scent collection. This light scent lasts a decent amount (4+ hours), but can be extended if you spray onto clothing. The projection is moderate, as it is more of a close to skin scent but it will give you a slight bubble of scent as you walk past. I would recommend to those looking for a sophisticated, light, powdery citrus unisex scent to use in the warmer months that is very classic and timeless.

A lot of brands have trouble nailing a citrus scent, sometimes they’ll smell like cleaning product, or too synthetic, but this is the most perfect citrus I’ve ever smelled. I would say the projection/sillage is pretty good, people will be able to smell you. It’s a non offensive sent, nothing crazy, most people like the smell of citrus so I think this scent would get complimented and it’s pleasant to be around. I recieved this fragrance from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I found the Acqua Di Parma Colonia to be a very well blended sophisticated fragrance. It opens with a strong but fresh burst of Sicilian citrus and warm sandalwood than settles and dries to reflect florals such as lavender, rosemary and the Bulgarian Rose. My initial thoughts was this cologne to be more masculine leaning however as time passed with the scents settling I found it to be the perfect scent for a conservative classy woman. It can absolutely be unisex. I received this Acqua di Parma colonia as a complimentary sample in exchange for my honest review. I love the packaging to start. It's bright yellow and is pretty compact for a full sized cologne which is easy to travel with if needed. I like how it hugs the cologne bottle inside, protecting the bottle well. The bottle itself is a clear bottle with black cap. I didn't feel like it really had a special look to it, the bottle is pretty plain and doesn't have a luxurious or unique look. We received this cologne for free in exchange for our honest feedback! My husband is 35 and is a cologne fanatic. Although this cologne was not for him, we appreciate the opportunity to have tried it out! Upon spraying it the first time, there was an overwhelming lemon scent.. it wasn't a pleasant citrus scent, but more like a strong Mrs. Meyer's lemon scented dish soap scent. The lemon scent gradually began to become less in a matter of about 10-15 minutes. It started to settle as more of a cheap aftershave smell. My husband described it is being for "a middle aged eastern man", as he is from the Europe himself. Perhaps this is a scent that someone else would love but for us, it's a no. There is definitely a level of attraction achieved in the olfactory makeup of this cologne. I was curious how the vivacious citrus and floral notes would translate into a cologne, but this fragrance definitely pulls it off with the help of the more grounding and assertive rosemary notes. There is a sort of bitterness that comes with the dry down that I wasn’t crazy about. Otherwise, this is a very sensual and alluring cologne perfect for the Summer season.
