C'mon it's 2023! Why not use bluetooth? I've been using these for about a week and I'm impressed by the sound but a little dissatisfied with the audio file management. I recognize main reason there's no bluetooth is that it wouldn't work underwater anyway, but as soon as its out of the water it could be used for all sorts of useful things like cueing up the the next playlist from a dedicated app on your phone sitting poolside. Or making effortless file transfers and firmware updates sometime during most of the hours in a day when you're not swimming. Or even controlling them from a watch while doing non-swimming activities. I have a couple of other brand headphones of this style and while they both look alike the sound quality is night/day different from each other . That being said these are not the best sounding of the 3 pairs I now own but they are by far better at ergonomics , fit , comfort , and quality feel . First thing I noticed was the magnets are strong enough to attract to each other,a sure sign of quality. After trying them on before powering them up I noticed the fit and comfort was 100% better for each. The design of how things work made so much sense I had to open the quick guide to see and then I was amazed at how well thought out things are . These are basically anti noise canceling but still provide a rich sound experience . Stereo separation and airyness rival my in ear choices, the only thing missing is anything mid bass and lower but the provided ear plugs help that tremendously . I found the built in sound options to be useless as vocal emphasis killed lacking bass further and ear plug mode was no more than cutting the volume by 2/3 while killing any deep bass with earplugs in .I charged them before writing this review and found the initial 60% charge from the box lasted about 4 hours of music so I should get close to advertised if not better battery life . I haven't let it get low enough to see if they did a better job of Chenglish than Tyoga did ( "please charging" when it gets low ) .No matter what angle I stand , sit , or lay they stay put , with or without glasses on , but not uncomfortably so .Between the button placement quality feel of them , positive feedback when they are pushed to the well thought out user interface and the comfort and Velcro like fit I'm more than ok with their lack of true bass like my Swimaudio ones provide .Aftershokz calls these entry level but they're anything but that , especially in build quality . I actually liked the sound and fit of these better than their Aeropex model and being half their price didn't hurt either .

I recently purchased an OpenMove. A friend of mine owns both an OpenRun as well as OpenRun Pro. This past weekend we compared them all.They all weigh around the same amount although both OpenRun feel a bit lighter. The OpenRuns are a bit easier to put on but since you're talking a second or two, it's really not even a small issue.The controls are virtually the same on all three headphones as well.I do like the cord for the OpenRuns but the USB-C is really a better choice should anything ever happen to the original cord. The closer you positioned the phone to your ear the better sound you will get.Podcasts sounded fine of course. Hard rock or heavy metal sounded horrible to somewhat adequate. Light rock and classic rock sounded ok. Bands like Electric Light Orchestra and Steely Dan sounded quite good. Most Jazz sounded really good, especially piano based jazz. Basically piano, strings and acoustic or jazz guitar sounded the best. Classical depended on the composition.When people say the bass isn't that great, what mean is that there is no bass at all.If you're new to these types of headphones you will first be surprised at how clear they really are. No they're not like real headphones but who would ever think you could hear music through your head.When you're looking at the best bang for your buck, the OpenMove is the way to go. The sound quality is virtually identical to the OpenRun and is almost half the cost.

The bonus voice enhancement equalizer is a big plus: I enjoy talk radio, she enjoys audio novels.Third: USBC charging. I don't want some special adapter. I have a bunch of USB chargers and cables from other devices; specifically my phone is USBC as well and her next one probably will be too, given Apple's loss in the EU. It's convenient and the level of waterproofing is sufficient: I do not intend to take the headphones for a bath or drop them in a river. If I did, I'd splurge for the OpenSwim.If there's anything to complain about, it is a very small reduction in audio quality. The range is more than good enough unless you are a bit OCD, which I happen to be. I don't think most people will be able to hear the difference actually, and even though I can hear it, I find the sacrifice well worth it. If I want premium audio quality, I won't be using any kind of headphones to begin with. The OpenMove's quality is superb considering it obstructs nothing while you commute, jog, ride, or whatever else you do while listening or making calls.These are probably the best multitasking-oriented headphones on the market.

My headset sounds good on my side although they sometimes have my contact on the other side of the call sounding like an alien to me or the in call volume goes so low during a call that it sounds like I am putting my hand over my mouth to muffle my voice. This is extremely difficult for someone who is hard of hearing, like I am. I absolutely loved my Trex Titanium headset. I owned two of them. First of all, these were purchased for me as a gift from my wife through her Amazon account, which is why you'll not see a "verified purchase" sticker next to my review. But I do have them and I do love them.There are so many things to love about these headphones I don't even know where to start. I guess the easiest to get into is the battery life. I've worn them all day every day since I got them, using them for music, audiobooks, videos, and games, and have never yet had them die on me. But I do have them and I do love them.There are so many things to love about these headphones I don't even know where to start. I guess the easiest to get into is the battery life. I've worn them all day every day since I got them, using them for music, audiobooks, videos, and games, and have never yet had them die on me. Being able to hear the world around you while still hearing your audio media crisply is such a strange, yet awesome, feeling.They fit fine with glasses, which I wear every day, so no issues there. In fact they fit so well I regularly forget that I'm wearing them - even while listening to them! They are so comfortable and don't ever hurt your ears like other buds can after periods of extended use. They don't leave your ears ringing if you've got them too loud for a little while. They don't accumulate earwax (gross!).Now, these won't get at loud as your traditional buds might. Or at least, they don't cancel outside noise at all (kind of the point) so excessively loud environments can make it difficult to hear these. Normal every day situations and noises though won't have any negative effect on your ability to enjoy whatever it is that you're listening to.The volume is super easy to control. There are two very easily accessible buttons to control volume and power on the right side, and one extremely convenient button to pause media, answer calls, etc on the left side.Call quality is great. In fact, people I talk to on the phone say that these have the best microphone quality of any other wireless headphones I've used (and I use the phone almost exclusively with headphones; I hate holding the phone to my ear). They don't hear any background noise such as wind when I'm outside or keyboard clacking when I'm using the computer.If you're looking for a new set of wireless earphones and want to try something new, give these a try. Unless you're in a significantly loud environment all day, you'll have no regrets at all. They won't get you through mowing the lawn (I have bluetooth hearing protector muffs for that), but they'll get you through your workday, your commute, your boring business meetings, and your shopping trip without keeping you cut off from your surroundings. So I kept seeing/hearing about this headset around that allows you to hear what’s going on while listening to music or podcast or whatever you listen to. Just worked a bunch of overtime and said screw it! I’ll try it! Got it and gave it a shot and am quite surprised how well it works. Can hear everything going on around me and talk to people. I do work in a machine shop so it gets pretty loud, but I can still hear my music. Thing is awesome! You want to hear a negative thing, can’t all be positive right? Ok, fine. Can’t adjust the headset to make it a bit tighter. I got a big head and it still feels relatively loose. Whatever, I am use to it. Only thing that truly upsets me is I can’t hear my audiobooks all that well. But it just doesn’t get loud enough even switching through the other settings. Music though? Clear! Podcasts? Depends on which one, but Clear! Would like to see maybe a newer one from this brand and see if they make a couple of improvements that people complain about.
