Bought this helmet due to the reviews and the sale price. It is an excellent helmet, very comfortable! My first motorcycle helmet and I feel like this will last a long time. Looks good on the head, I got the Nardo Gray and it matches nicely with an all black fit.I had this helmet for about 3 months now and it is broken it well to where it conforms to the structure of my face and head. It has a good ventilation system where it does not get too hot. The pin lock system does a great job of preventing that. I highly recommend this helmet if it's your first one. Also, it's ECE and DOT certified, can't go wrong with that! Style, safety features, and comfort!Tip: if you are looking into getting another colored visor, I'd save the pin lock insert and use it on your new ... MoreBought this helmet due to the reviews and the sale price. Just received my new AGV K6. This is a really well made helmet. The black and yellow colourway is even shinier in real life. It all feels of quality. I bought an XL which is exactly true to size for my 61cm bonce. The helmet just slides on like a pair of silk gloves. I haven't ridden with it yet. I might just sleep in it it's that comfortable! Some things to add. It's got a Pinlock visor and some well placed vents as well as the traditional D-ring fastener. Oh and one more thing it is so light. Apparently it's made of a carbon-aramid fibre which gives great protection too. It's been a while since I bought my last helmet and I haven't really compared it with others in the same price range but initial thoughts are that the K6 is a great helmet.

Crystal clear visor with great field of view and zero fog, not even with wet hair after a shower, and I haven’t even put on the anti-fog visor yet. Can feel the ventilation. Just soooo much less cumbersome!I was hesitant on the price and considered getting something with the same certifications but just overall less nice/light/feature-rich but shaving off weight and shell size was worth it, considering I’m a medium. Tip: Flexon glasses frames are great for this purpose, no worries about bending.

Great helmet from AGV
17 April 2023

I've been wearing the K6 for almost a year now and I love it. Very comfortable, especially around the ears. Glasses fit just fine as well. Because it's so lightweight, my neck never gets sore, making it perfect for long rides. Visors are also easy to swap out.My main complaint, like others have said, is the poor wind ventilation. The visor does have two lock positions, one where the visor is cracked (but is still locked in place) and one where the visor is fully closed, so that helps a little. Still, I would advise people living in hotter climates to look for a different helmet. That being said, this is still a 5/5 helmet for me.

Overall I like the helmet. I went with the size that I measured and was suggested on the chart. When I got it I was worried it was a bit to small but I wore it for a good half hour without having any pain from it so I kept it hoping it would break in a bit and not be so bad. So far it's slowly breaking in and is less tight on my cheeks. Tons of padding though and feels like it could take some serious damage if needed. Wish the logo on the front wasn't so big and obnoxious or could be removed. I also got the Cardo pack talk to put in it and overall installation of it was easy and has worked well with it! When riding you can hear the wind a bit but it's not bad at all. Might be better if you wore the part under your chin to block it more but I personally never stuck ... MoreOverall I like the helmet. Will be upgrading the visor as I don't like the clear one. Other than the logo being ugly I really can't complain about the helmet it's self.

Should have just bought this to start with but it was more money...bought an LS2 challenger gt 2 yrs ago n it fit perfectly but after 2 yrs it started giving me headaches...then i bought the HJC RAPHA 11 PRO a few months ago... sadly a bit to snug n not breaking in enough to make me keep it (getting headaches)Got the AGV today , actually .4oz lighter than HJC , very nice fit, air flow is ok (the HJC HAS PHENOMENAL AIRFLOW) .. chin guard further from face 👍🏻just wish all these helmet manufacturers would stop w the stupid communication pockets around your ears.. just makes the helmet LOUD ... they did it perfectly with the old Q3R way back in the 90's.. absolute perfect fit n SOOOO quiet 🤫 (no ear plugs needed, bet it was less than 30 decibels around your ears) ... MoreShould have just bought this to start with but it was more money...bought an LS2 challenger gt 2 yrs ago n it fit perfectly but after 2 yrs it started giving me headaches...then i bought the HJC RAPHA 11 PRO a few months ago... sadly a bit to snug n not breaking in enough to make me keep it (getting headaches)Got the AGV today , actually .4oz lighter than HJC , very nice fit, air flow is ok (the HJC HAS PHENOMENAL AIRFLOW) .. chin guard further from face 👍🏻just wish all these helmet manufacturers would stop w the stupid communication pockets around your ears.. just makes the helmet LOUD ... they did it perfectly with the old Q3R way back in the 90's.. absolute perfect fit n SOOOO quiet 🤫 (no ear plugs needed, bet it was less than 30 decibels around your ears) the noise is the reason for 4 stars...if you know agv fits correctly then just pull the trigger n get what you know works... keeps more money in ur pocket in the long run ...

K6 - K sweet
16 January 2023

Love this helmet. It's so light (less than 3lbs.) & absolutely no buffeting regardless of speed or helmet angle. Wide field of view, and although the vents are small, the first click on the visor (half shut) flows tons of air. My only gripe is the visor release, not the best design and it can stick occasionally. But that 1 thing isn't significant enough to matter. I have 2 other helmets that cost twice as much as this one, yet I pull this one out of the closet every time. I'll admit that if I went down hard, I'd rather have my Arai strapped on. But that says more about Arai's dedication to safety (which naturally adds weight), than it does about the K6. But again, I always reach for the K sweet when saddling up, the Arai is cold and lonely in my closet since I ... MoreLove this helmet. Mostly great

Pros: Great airflow (with visor closed). Tight but comfortable intermediate oval fit. Looks great. Fits a Cardo (packtalk slim) without any modification. Pretty good field of view. Comes with a pinlock. Thankfully, I haven't had the opportunity to test the protection yet, but in that and most other important ways, it feels like a major upgrade from the Bell Bullet clone I had before. The packaging may not feel "premium" but the product inside definitely does.Cons: The visor. The visor. And the visor. Specifically: 1) It's nearly impossible to open the visor with one gloved hand. 2) If you ride with the visor open, the latch mechanism sits right in the middle of your field of vision which is super annoying. 3) When it's open, the visor somehow totally blocks the ... MorePros: Great airflow (with visor closed). Oh, also, the description says "Glasses friendly" and while it might be *more* glasses friendly than a lot of other full face helmets, glasses can be a bit of a struggle. If you wear wire frames, you're probably fine. If you wear chunky acetate frames, it's probably a no go.Neutral: There are helmets that are cheaper and there are helmets that are far more expensive. I think the price of this one is pretty fair considering what you get. The noise control is much better than the helmet I came from, but it doesn't seem best in class. Which means that on average, it's probably medium good. Since I'm riding a Vespa and not a Harley, this is less important to me than it might be to someone else.Final verdict: Generally, I like the helmet a lot. I like it enough that I'm willing to deal with the nit-picks. When I'm ready to buy a new one, I would absolutely buy it again, but I do hope that by that time they've addressed the visor issues.

Noisy, no air flow, hurts but also moves.

I unfortunately hate this helmet. I've had it now for over a year thinking just needed time but just hate it. Had an RF1200 and the weight difference and reviews made me go for the K6.I don't understand how a helmet can be both so loud (understand probably is because of the light weight) but also let very little air in. Other than the weight I don't see any other area where this is better or even comparable to the RF.It is not comfortable what so ever, I would say is more of a round oval. It's always on my nose (I do have a big nose but never had issues so badly like with this helmet), it seems to put a lot of pain points all over but interestingly enough doesn't really seem to hold my head properly (I did get it fitted correctly, smaller was way too small). So ... MoreI unfortunately hate this helmet. Because of all the good reviews I kept thinking it needed time or it was a a fitting problem, but after re-trying other sizes it is clear that at least for my head this is a terrible helmet. My advice if you are considering, if you try it and notice any of those things it will get worse.

Really like this helmet. Not as quiet as some of the other reviews suggest and have a love/hate relationship with the visor latch mechanism. Really like that it locks into different positions: fully closed and partly open. So it doesn't fly open when you shoulder check at speed. Easy to release from the partly open position but I haven't found an easy way of unlocking from fully closed position. You really have to jam your thumb into the release which pushes the helmet into your chin. Not an issue for long high speed running but maybe not great in traffic with a lot of stop and start.
