AIPER Seagull 800B Cordless Robotic Pool CLEANER. Floor Only

I received this product from influenster to try out! I Love this little robotic pool vacuum. It cleans the bottom of the pool pretty well. It is rechargeable I didn’t get to time how long the battery lasted, because i left it in the pool for a little over 3 hours(oops). It collected debris at the bottom of the pool. This vacuum is recommended for flat bottom pools. I’m sure it’ll work better. It’s very convenient to turn on and just let it do the work for you. It’s not something that you can rely on to clean your whole pool, but it is something you can use to spot clean the bottom of the pool with. It is not very heavy. I can carry it with one hand. It’s also easy to retrieve if it dies in the pool. You can hook it from the handle and pull up.

I received this pool cleaner and it’s such a game changer. The cordless design is a game changer in my pool maintenance routine. No more cords or hoses to lug around and makes messes. It’s as simple as click the button to activate and submerge the vacuum to let it work. This saves me so much time and effort. An impressive feature is the 90 minute battery life and 2.5 hour charge time. With a single charge, my pool is sparkling clean. It has dual driven motors that gives powerful suction. It sucks up dirt, leaves, debris, etc. After cleaning is over, I simply take the vacuum out, unattach the top, remove the filter, and use a water hose to spray out all the junk it’s picked up. I highly recommend this cordless vacuum.

We had a few warm days and able to test this on our pool. In a way it became like an initial step before we shock the pool so it’s ready for late spring. Let me just say that this is a game changer for me since I didn’t have to do the extra arm breaking work of vacuuming. It takes a while before it finishes the job, but it did clean the pool floor to my satisfaction. This cordless pool vacuum looks like of high quality built. Battery life is substantial. I never had a problem with running out of battery before it completed the cleaning. Suction power is fantastic. Being cordless simply means very efficient! I am really happy.

Safety hazard

We loved this little robot. We used it in our in ground, flat bottom pool. We used it about once a week for just over a month. The unit looked, and smelled, like it had caught on fire. The battery indicator was melted and charred. We were able to return it to wal-mart. We planned on purchasing the same model hopefully it was just a random issue, but after reading other reviews here, it does not appear to be. They are also no longer available in stores. Do not waste your money on this product.

This robotic pool cleaner by Aiper arrived late after the end of pool season this year as our pool is closed already. Also, for larger size pools, 90 minutes of run time might not be long enough. I don't think this climbs and scrubs the pool walls. Bluetooth or preferably Wi-Fi connection features would be ideal for more precise control.Overall, if you have a pool away from trees and bushes, and generally don't have large debris falling into the pool, then this robotic pool cleaner is sufficient.

Having tried a lot of different pool cleaning devices I was skeptical that this Aiper Seagull would actually work. Much to my surprise it managed to pick up quite a bit of the leaves sitting at the bottom of the pool. We're at that time of year when we're closing everything up so I figured I would run this so I knew what I was in for next year. The battery ran for about 50 minutes. When the pool cleaner was done it parked itself next to the edge of the pool. I did not know that this was a feature until this happened.The basket had quite a bit of debris on the inside. The filter is made of plastic so you just rinse it when you're done and pop it back in. There is an attachment in the box for your pool pole that just snaps on so you can retrieve the seagull. The box is beautifully crafted and this thing is packed inside like a much more expensive electronic. It was very impressive. It also came with some extra wheels which I wasn't expecting. But I love how it seems like this vacuum picks up everything including sand.It is a small an investment, but it has saved us money over time with chemicals and given us time to just enjoy being in the pool with the kids. That is the whole reason we have a pool in the first place, right? Time with family?!Just remember this is for flat floored pools. But if you've never had one, you're definitely missing out on all the benefits and time saving that it provides. This vacuum comes with a very complete user manual including FAQ and troubleshooting. The instructions are very detailed super easy to follow, also comes with a good warranty.After I remove this from my pool, immediately I hose it out really well and then make sure the charging port is dry before charging, and I will leave the pieces separated while it's charging so it dries out. I let it dry on the deck in the shade so it's not in full sun. Because this thing is so awesome, I really want to make sure it lasts a long time, so I ensure to rinse the chlorine water off the entire unit after each use, and dry in the shade.Highly recommend.

product will not make it past 2 months!

i bought 2 of these at a different price point One was over $200, and the second one was roughly about 160. The White %26 Brown on here. They dont make it past 2 months. The white one I had it less than a month returned it back to the company cuz I had the factory warranty on it which they sent me another one and it didn't even last two months and I still have it trying to find someone who can fix it cuz the factory warranty is up on it. The brown one I had to return it a couple days ago because it tried to catch fire while it was charging. from my perspective after having two of them their main problem with these has to do with the control lights and the motor. I will not be buying anymore of these!
