The Plissé Toaster has been created by Michele De Lucchi for the brand Alessi. Since the Italian brand came into existence in 1921, it has worked its way to the top with a reputation for creating houseware of stellar quality. The brand has an offering of innovative, stylish, durable pieces like the Plissé Toaster. It stands out with a pleated design that is telling of its designer's architectural background. The way it is detailed to drape like an haute couture dress elevates it to a work of art and not just an appliance. Made of thermoplastic resin and stainless steel on the inside, it has six browning levels and a removable crumb tray that makes cleaning easy. It also has bagel, reheat and defrost functions. Two other stylish and convenient touches are its power on and setting LED backlights and a stop button. The Plissé Toaster has a length of 30cm, a width of 18.5cm and a height of 25cm. Its integrated cable can be wound up beneath the toaster when it is not in use. Chances are you will not want to put away this appliance when it is not in use but leave it out on display.
