Fantastic tasting whey protein isolate. Isoflex Overview Allmax have long been the dominant sports nutrition brand in Canada and are now seeking to become the same in the United Kingdom. With a reputation for delivering top notch products with a commitment to the user getting the best results possible from their supplements, Isoflex fits in perfectly with this philosophy being that it uses three different forms of whey protein isolate to deliver a protein powder which is very high in fast acting anabolic protein while being easy to digest, tasting great and being an extremely pure protein source (27g protein per serving) with ZERO sugar and just 0. 5g of fat per serving. Superior to Regular Whey Isolate Isoflex takes whey protein isolate, already an exceptional source of protein and makes it even better by reducing lactose, sugar and fats further still compared to a standard WPI supplement. It represents a test case into why you should look beyond the cover for this product as inside it really delivers something special versus other whey isolates. It is not just the higher protein percentage and reduction in unwanted sugars and fats, Isoflex goes further by using native and intact denatured whey protein fractions. In simple terms, some cheap proteins will be denatured meaning that the amino acid structures are compromised and will fail to deliver the impact users are looking for. Isoflex ensures that each gram of protein is laboratory certified to deliver what the label says which is 27 grams of pure whey protein isolate in each serving.

I loooooove the CPB whey protein from Allmax. It’s sooo yummy. I have a protein smoothie every morning because of this stuff. It’s very filling and comes with all the nutrients you need on top of all the protein! I love protein shakes even on days I’m not working out due to the fact it has so many easily digestible nutrients, minerals, and protein, that you need to feel good + energized through out the day. My morning recipe is this: 1 whole banana 2-3tbs peanut butter (measure with your ā¤ļø) 1/4 cup crushed ice 1-1.5 cups chocolate milk 1 scoop CPB protein powder Blend until smooth - you honestly don’t need the extra peanut butter the protein powder provides enough flavour but the extra peanut butter scoop + the chocolate milk make this šŸ˜‹šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼

Hey guys, I'm sorry to say this but the Vanilla flavour is absolutely disgusting. I usually buy the chocolate flavour which I love, but no thought I'd change it up. I would have made this review earlier but I only just recently opened the first container because I still had some protein I needed to finish up.Along with the flavour being terrible, it appears that my skin is having a strange reaction to this flavour. I haven't changed up my diet in anyway other than trying this new vanilla flavour, so I can only conclude that it has to be the protein. Is there anyway I can exchange the vanilla for the chocolate?? I have one container that's brand new unopened, and the other one is virtually brand new. I've only made two shakes so far. Some other reviewers have complained of artificial ingredients. From what research I could perform I found out these were for flavor and to keep the sugar level down. This is a trade-off I accept for the benefits of lower calories, sodium, etc. If you don’t agree you may want to go with the Optimum Nutrition which does not use artificial ingredients.AllMax is more expensive by $20 for 5pound. Pricey but since the Nutritional numbers are so good I think it’s worth it when I have the money. When I don’t have the money I buy the Optimum Nutrition. The biggest difference between the two is the taste. I mix the recommended serving size (1 scoop, scoop provided inside container) into the milk for my breakfast cereal.Optimum Nutrition has a powerful vanilla flavor. In fact, it made my bowl of breakfast cereal taste like dessert. That was great for a while but then it became too much of a good thing. Kinda like eating Thanksgiving dinner everyday. You think you want it until you get it every day and then it gets old quickly because it is just too much all the time.AllMax has a more subtle vanilla flavor. In fact, as some people have stated in other reviews the taste is a little synthetic. To me it has a slight coconut flavor. This is OK since I mix it with the milk in my breakfast cereal. The subtle taste allows me to still taste the cereal but with a hint of vanilla. I would thus suggest that if you need/like a lot of flavor go with the Optimum Nutrition. If you are looking for a more subtle, less obtrusive flavor go with the AllMax.Both mix well with no clumps but the AllMax dissolves a bit better by itself. Both seem to provide the same result muscle building-wise.Delivery was very prompt and accurate. This is my first purchase from iHerb and I was impressed with the website and the quick/accurate delivery.

Best Available Protein Powder

Allmax Isoflex is the leading brand of whey protein powder when it comes to the ratio of calories to protein. The cookies and cream flavour is especially great in this aspect, at around only 4.1 kcals per gram of protein. The sodium content is quite low compared to other brands—which is, of course, good—and the ratio of sodium to potassium is also very good. These values are 50 mg per scoop and 0.36 respectively. The flavours of Allmax Isoflex can vary in their texture and consistency, but cookies and cream excels in this category too. It does not clump, it’s very light, it tastes good enough to be eaten on its own, and yet the flavour isn’t so strong that it clashes with other ingredients should you want to use it for baking. Most notably, the top of the inside of the bottle has a slight lip that allows the scoop to rest comfortably on it, even with the lid closed. This means you don’t have to reach around inside the tub to try and find it, and it won’t ever sink to the bottom. The price is a solid deal, getting better as you buy larger tubs. The five pound tub is an absolute steal.Phenomenal product all around.

I question their nutrional infomation.
28 April 2023

I'm a diabetic, if I eat protein it has almost o affect on my blood sugar; however, if I eat carbohydrates it does. One scoop of this is supposed to have 2g of Carbohydrattes. That should affect me only marginally, but that's not the case. Note that when I eat significant carbs, as a consequence of spiking blood sugar, I get really drowsy and fall asleep for an hour or so. This does that to me.If I had eaten something else, or even had coffee or something else that I could blame it on, I wouldn't give it this mediocre review, but I suspect something is not right. If the carbs are indeed off, can their protein quanties be similarly off?Personally, I suspect that it is that their nutritional information is wrong, and not something else that I'm doing. I think it should be tested by an independant body right from something that is purchased in store (not from something the vendor supplies to the testing lab). The price of protein powder is quite high, and if my suspicions are correct, then we aren't getting what we paid for, and I won't recommend it. Obviously, it's a protein powder, so it has some, so I'm not giving it 0 starts, but I was tempted to put it at 1. In the end I chose 2, I think I'm being charitable.

ISOFLEX vanilla

I can't speak for the other flavors yet but the vanilla mixed with milk tastes great. The only bad point is the use of 2 artificial sweeteners and that's the only bad point. Now for all the good points. 90% of one scoop is highly cold filtered whey isolate protein with all the nasty junk removed, it is non-denatured, good amount of BCAA's, no fats-sugars-or-cholesterol, low sodium, no soy, nice amount of calcium and potassium. I mixed one scoop in a cup of milk with a spoon and it all dissolved quickly. The only isolate I found with a higher percentage of protein isolate in one scoop is ISONATURAL-unflavored at 93% per scoop with an even better list of supplement ingredients and no artificial sweeteners. The price is fantastic for such a quality isolate protein. Between ISOFLEX and ISONATURAL I will never buy another protein powder from any other manufacturer unless they stop being lazy and cheap and create one that is better than these, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. I use to buy ISO100 until I did a deep dive and researched all the proteins available and the ALLMAX proteins came out on top. MYPROTEIN and BULKSUPPLEMENTS have equally great isolates but with a less percentage of protein per scoop and ridiculous prices but they are still top notch proteins. ALLMAX is now my go to protein powders and I wish I new about these sooner. I should also mention that any flavors in the ISONATURAL line come in at about 87% protein isolate per scoop and it is only the unflavored one that is 93% per scoop but at least the flavored ones use natural sweeteners and not artificial.

Tried few different protein shakes, ALLMAX Isoflex shows most obvious improvement in recovery after long runs. My legs felt more fresh and body felt more energized after my first try. The difference was obvious. I am now a heavy user and consuming a 5 lbs pack every 4 months. Chocolate peanut tastes best to me as well, over chocolate and other flavors.

I like this strawberry flavour. It’s not too sweet. But I think it tastes more like watermelon, instead of strawberry. Which actually makes it a refreshing protein drink to consume during workouts. The Allmax branded scoop is smartly designed to sit at the neck/opening area of the tub. So I no longer need to rummage through the protein powder to find the scoop buried way at the bottom. The ingredients are good.
