This DERMACARE oatmeal shampoo is the best, I have an American staffy,who has extremely sensitive skin,he even gets a rash from some types of grass, as soon as he has a bath with this dermacare wash his rash clears up, we use the shampoo and then the oatmeal conditioner, it is specifically for irritated itchy skin. The oatmeal aloe Vera soothes his skin,and clears up any rash. It's bought at a pet shop, so some might consider it expensive,but I believe it is definitely worth it.

This is a great soothing shampoo for any dog with dry or itchy skin. I like to mix some shampoo with water to make a foamy lather and to let this “sit” on the skin while I wash my dog’s face and clean his ears. The best thing is the fresh smell after the wash.
Our little dog is allergic to meat and its control of skin problems is full time. Aloveen Oatmeal Shampoo & Conditioner not only cleans and shines her lovely coat but gives relief too when there is a flare up. We have tried other products but wouldn't again because Aloveen products does it all and so simply too. We highly recommend it. Sometimes someone will give her a treat with meat in it and its enough to cause a flare up. Brought back in line quickly keeps here comfortable and its as simple when its a shampoo and conditioner that gives quick relief. . If it gets out of hand then ongoing treatment through the vet is needed.Well worth a try Aloveen shampoo & conditioner!
ALOVEEN, WAS RECOMMENDED BY THE VET FOR MY DOGS. I HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR 15 YEARS NOW. IT HAS OATMEAL IN IT, WHICH IS VERY GOOD FOR THE DOGS SKIN AND COAT AND IS EXTREMELY GENTLE. THE FRAGRANCE IS MILD AND NOT OVERPOWERING. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT ALONG WITH THE ALOVEEN CONDITIONER.
I've been using this shampoo for my dog for years and I really like it. It’s near odourless and seems to be quite gentle on my dog’s skin. This size of bottle lasted me ages (years). I’m to giving it 5 stars because the bottle is fiddly to handle when dispensing the shampoo. Wet wriggly dog, and you need two hands to squeeze it out. Pump dispenser would be way way better.
This shampoo is so gentle on my little spoodle's coat and skin. And it smells so lovely afterwards too. My vet is also thrilled that we use this as they highly recommend it too.
The shampoo itself is great. However, the delivery was poorly packaged. Almost 1/3 of the shampoo leaked and it got on to the packages of other toys as well, quite messy. They put bubbles to protect a cardboard boxed plastic toy but failed to do something with a liquid bottle(eg, a plastic bag for it separately like many others). Need more common sense with delivery packaging.
We have been using this shampoo for 3 years now (+ the same conditioner) for our dog who has a sensitive skin. We have tried other shampoos before but they just didn’t work for her skin. Also, shampoo has a nice scent - love how our dog smells after the bath :)
