Amazfit T-Rex 2 Smart Watch (47mm) Gold

It has all the features that I need. At the same it doesn't have some features that I dont like For e.g. I dont like talking/typing in the watch for my phone calls and texts. Excellent in every department. Best watch to buy if you are my kind. I love sleep tracker the most. And who would miss if a watch works without charging for more than a month. Money spent worth. I got it for 13,500 on Festival Offer Sale. Highly recommended for someone who love sports, who needs to monitor their stress, who needs to control their O2 level in Blood, Accurate Workout measurements. Zepp App has aduntant information for every functions that are measured. JUST BUY. DONT WAIT.

I have been using the watch daily for almost 16-17 hours a day with 1-2 hours of swimming each day. Still the watch has maintained almost a 20 day battery back up. The accuracy of the tracking data also seems to be good with sometimes heart tracking not being accurate when the watch is not tight enough on the wrist. This happens mostly during an exercise session. This has been already called out by the company so I will not worry about that. The distance tracking is very accurate while running and swimming. No doubts there. I use the watch rough on purpose sometimes and I find it to be very robust. No scratches on the screen yet and it has been bumped on the wall or in the hallway too many times now. I got this watch as a gift from My wife. I already had Amazfit GTR Titanium 47mm before but I wanted an upgrade. I have the black gold combination and it really looks beautiful. The day I got it, I wanted to test it so I charged it fully. The battery drained to 35% in 72 hours (3 days). All the settings are still the same. I observed in between that it miscalculated the steps sometimes when I am sitting and shaking my hand. The battery Drained to 12% in 96 Hours (4 days). The battery drained completely in 104 Hours. So a back of around 4.3 days with the extreme settings. I put the watch on charge with my 44W adapter and it took 1 Hour 23 minutes to charge from 0 to 100 %. While it was charging, I changed back all the settings to the original. I switched off the AOD. Changed back the Auto heart rate frequency to 30 minutes. Switched off assisted sleep monitoring, Sleep breathing quality Monitoring, auto stress monitor and auto blood O2 monitor. Changed back the Watch face to a simpler one. The battery just dropped 1% in 24 HoursThe battery has dropped to 95% in 48 hours ( 2 Days)After 3 days it was 89, 4th day it was 84, 5th day it was 786th day it was down to 72Battery is down to 66 percent after 7th day8th day the battery is 60%After 9 days - 56%After 10 days - 52% After 10.5 days - 50%After 11 days - 47 percent. After completing 10.5 days the battery was at 50% so with this drop it should give me a back of around 21 days but I read in some of the reviews that the battery drain is more in the last stages like 20-25% so I will observe. after completing 11 days the battery is down to 47% and I am not doing much workout so this is my minimal use. The first test which I did was the maximum and this is the minimum. After 15 days - 27%After 16 days - 21%After 17 days - 15%After 18 days - 9%After 19 days - 4%After 19 Days and 22 Hours and 35 minutes the watch is dead. I needed a “smartwatch” which gave me a battery life of at least 4 to 5 days. Needed a decent size screen with decent legibility. Needed something that could track my kilometres while I ran (both apple and Samsung watches always seemed to be inaccurate when compared to my treadmill readings). And needed something which could at least tell me if I got any notifications on my phone or not. This watch does all that for me and hence I am genuinely stoked about it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s perfect for my personal use case. It ain’t the smartest smart watch out there. Definitely ain’t the prettiest. The app definitely takes getting used to. But for me, it’s bang for the buck.

Rugged and Durable, I have been using the watch in the Gym and even while taking steam and swimming and the watch has been handling whatever you throw at it. So full marks for being a rugged and solid product by the manufacturer. OTT and Firmware Updates for the Zepp App, The manufacturer seems to be working on the feedback by its users and features like trackback and a testament to it. Activity Options, Like I said I use this product for the Gym and other such outdoor activities and apart from having all the functional activity types. Multiple watch faces and as time passes more may be added, I admit I tried the you tube tutorials to add 3rd party watch faces however when I checked the different watch faces on the zepp app I eventually realized adding 3rd party watch faces is a waste of time. Sleep monitoring, I like how the watch shows how much I slept and the different bifurcations like REM,Deep Sleep etc also you can tag what was the last activity before you hit snooze. UI for Zepp app, Its simple, Functional and Intuitive. What I Dislike - Battery Life, If you keep you GPS on accurate and AOD turned on then the watch battery will last for a week and maybe lesser if you have turned on all the features like heart rate monitoring. I was contemplating to buy Garmin for a long time. Have been putting it off because of its pricing. Didn't feel it was worth that price. Then I came across this brand and did some research and decided to buy it. It looks and feels really premium and is premium. It is light weight and you don't even feel wearing it even when sleeping. The watch is quite sturdy and totally weather proof. I dipped it in a glass of water and it came out just fine. I found battery usage not upto mark. It goes upto 15 days easily but I thought it was capable of going even more. The charging is super fast though. Limited watch faces in the device but one can download many from the app. And newer and more configurable watch faces are getting added every day.
