Amazonia Raw Paleo Fermented Protein - Vanilla Lucuma 1 kg

I love this protein - raw, organic, plant-based and DELICIOUS goodness. I use it for a little protein pick up when I feel I need a boost. I find it sweet and creamy enough to have as is with water. I feel confident that this product is giving me the extra nutrition I need, from a healthy and clean source. Sprintfit was the best price I could find too!

I love this product so much. Have been using it daily for over a year. I prefer the Lucuma Vanilla flavour over the Salted Caramel (which is much sweeter). But both Vegan options are good. I blend with avocado and whatever fruits and veggies I fancy for a protein thick shake.

Amazing Vegan Protein

As someone who suffers from reflux, indigestion and a large number of intolerances. I struggle to find supplements that I can comfortably consume. However Amozonia smashed this with their protein powders, which contain a large amount of fermented ingredients. The protein is really easy on the stomach. I also finish my recovery after 2 hour gym sessions to be very good.

Delicious and Nutritious

I was excited to try this protein powder as I’ve been looking for something that gives me the protein component for post-workout but also the nutritional value. This appealed to me because the ingredients have high bioavailability and will give me that extra nutrition boost. The taste is super delicious with banana, avacado, ice and coconut milk. It’s not too bad on its own either! Those who said the taste is bad might be used to something super sweet? Not sure but it’s great. Recommend!!

Directions for Use are not Clear

I make a smoothie with this with banana and some kind of milk and water. I can't find this on the packaging or website - but is it right that this product must be consumed within an hour for example? I tried to consume mine in the afternoon and it popped open and foamed up? I guess it would make sense with the fermented ingredient base? But you should talk to this on your packaging. Its a pretty gross experience with the product.

Great Stuff!

This product ticked most of the boxes for what I was looking for in a protein powder. (Personally I think it would be even better if it included some organic hemp protein, but it’s easily added each time!) It definitely has more of an aroma than other powders I’ve used, but I soon got used to it. Don’t love the packaging though - never feels like the lid is creating any type of seal.

Great idea but tastes so, so bad

I love the IDEA of this product. I really wanted to like it because it has over 8mg of iron per serve and I have low iron levels - oh man have I tried to like it - BUT most of the kg gone and I still just can't stand it. I have come to hate my breakfast smoothie. Thank goodness it's almost gone! It is lip puckeringly super sweetened with Stevia and the texture is gritty. The natural flavour Amazonia Raw Protein Isolate is still gritty but at least you can flavour it how you like without all that Stevia so if you want to give it a go, I would recommend trying that one instead.

Plant based fermented and raw Doesnt get any better than this

Just got my first protein shake. I couldn't believe my lack when I found it. I knew I needed extra protein to balance my sugar levels but I really didn't want to add heavily processed protein. I read Annette Larkins uses lots of fermented and sprouted sources of raw food but it is time consuming to all this at home. This protein shake is raw and fermented and ready to go. Just had my first shake mixed with oats berries and spinach and banana. Measured my sugars levels every hour and for the first time they are staying in the normal range and climbing slowly. Great before work out food. I know I am raving but just glad I found it :) My sugar level going up and down was driving me nuts. This seems to be helping already. Recommended.

The best plant based protein powder - so delicious!

My new fav protein. I've tried every Amazonia one and this one wins hands down. Mixed with coconut ice cream and fresh mango it's like dessert in a glass. I may or may not have skipped dinner in favour of a dessert based smoothie a few times over the past week ;) My Naturopath approves so it's a win all round. It has a lovely toffee flavour that hides the disgusting green powders and other supplements I have to take daily. It's really nice mixed with frozen berries and coconut vanilla yoghurt too. And keeps me full for two hours which is unusual for protein powder as I have a very fast metabolism so I normally have to eat every 1-2 hours or I feel very nauseous and often faint due to hypoglycemia. I have been adding Raw Amozonia's Slim and Tone Vanilla and Cinnamon flavour for 18 months. When I saw this variation of my usual selection here I decided to try it and ABSOLUTELY love it! As with the Slim and Tone it makes me feel energised and strong but this Fermented Protein makes my tummy feel very settled. It is just as gentle as the slim and tone but even better. Love it! Will definitely be buying again. Can't get at local healthfood stores but is still same retail price as the Slim and Tone and with no postage makes it the perfect online purchase so thank you Nourished Life :)
