A true French household Dijon mustard. Not a fussy mustard. Not too hot. Just the perfect amount of bite. The perfect “go to” for everything from Pate’ to salad dressing.

Amora is far superior to any brand you can find in US supermarkets, at an astonishingly low price. Full of zing - nose tingling, tongue-zapping, smile-producing punch. Not too salty or sour - just right for spreading on bread, cooking, sandwiches, sauces, or anywhere you need some zest. Finely ground, so even a tiny amount emulsifies oil and vinegar without overwhelming dressings. This will be your secret ingredient in dishes calling for mustard and in ones that don't. Buy frequently to avoid stale dates. Keep even unopened jars in the refrigerator to extend shelf life. I buy quantities large enough to minimize shipping charges and then give jars to friends. No one guesses that this delicacy is only three bucks.

Until 25 years ago, I made my own Caesar's salad dressing using the US made Dijon mustards. Also, every time I was in an exclusive restaurant I ordered the Caesar’s salad to compare with my own dressing. Then, I moved to Tahiti and was introduced to a variety of authentic Dijon mustards. Needless to say, I tried all one by one every time I made a new batch of my dressing. The conclusion was Amora Dijon Mustard gave me the best result over other more expensive ones.I am now back in the US but still make my dressing with the same Amora Dijon Mustard, because the US made Dijon mustards are too sour. Also, Amora Dijon Mustard is a must for my beef soups and marinade sauces.I am glad I can now find this mustard easily online. This is the most popular “family-home” mustard in France and on tasting it, you will see why. Creamy, very fine, strong, but not biting, or vinegary. Delicious! The company also makes a mild mustard and a delicious salad dressing as well.
I really enjoy this dijon mustard, it is fresh and just as tasty as when I lived in Paris. I have hunted for a source to buy this product for years!!! I finally came across the "my Paier" site and ordered 2 bottles. YUM!!I also us this mustard to make a sauce to pour over sliced fresh tomatoes. It can be used as a tossed salad dressing, I have also used it on precooked beats and diced after they have cooled. The sauce is made as followed:In a small dish, put a 1/4 tsp salt, add 1/4 cup of garlic red wine vinegar, stir until salt is dissolved, add 1/8 tsp of black pepper, now add 2 tsp of Amora dijon mustard and stir, now add 1tbsp of olive oil (or veg oil) stir well. Pour over your choice of tomatoes, cooked and diced beats, or tossed salad and enjoy!!Warm ... MoreI really enjoy this dijon mustard, it is fresh and just as tasty as when I lived in Paris. For me. Keeping different mustards on hand is that same as keeping different salts. Each has an application for which it is best suited. Amora is the yellow mustard found in the cabinets of France. While it has character. Amora does not have the severe bite of the other French made Dijon mustards. It is perfect for seasoning sauces, sandwiches, Deviled eggs, and corndogs. Amora enhances, yet it does not overwhelm. Oh so tasty. Reasonably priced. And its unique jar is perfect for storing spices and "stuff".
Although the label on the jar looked normal, it was i have come to expect from this company, I had spent many years in France and several trips back and this mustard has always had a good bite. this jar might as well have had a label " French's Yellow Mustard" for all the bite it had, i was very disappointed in this product at this time.
Introduced to Amora when visiting France. I wasn't a fan of dijon mustard but I tried a lot of things in France. This is hands down the best mustard, a little bit spicy and rich flavor. Sandwiches, Salad dressings, Deviled Eggs and so much more... my go to mustard - dijon or otherwise. I found it online and always keep backup jars in the pantry. I love it. My husband loves it. And my chef friends love it.
I spent a lot of time in France, and i can eat Amora by the jar full. It is the best Dijon mustard ever. I was very happy to find it for a fair price on MyPanier website. Unfortunately when you add shipping it becomes expensive for mustard, and MyPanier limits the purchase to only 2 jars. I don't know why, but i would have bought 4 jars to save on shipping. I hope my next order is not limited to 2 so shipping charges can be combined.
This is a great mustard. I’ve only used it a few times, but enjoyed every bite. The first time, was on a hotdog. I was quite surprised when my sinuses let me know, it can be used sparingly. Marvelous flavor. I am waiting for the next AMORA to come available.
