I bought this charger to replace my previous Anker charger because I needed something to charge my laptop quickly on the go. Anker has been a little slow incorporating the Programmable Power Supply (PPS) part of the USB Power Delivery spec into their chargers, and I was happy to see that it seems to be included in their "PowerIQ 4.0" spec even though I couldn't find anything confirming this on their site or product specs. I really wish manufacturers would stick to industry standard terminology rather than making us their own names for things. Also included in the PowerIQ 4.0 spec is "Dynamic Power Distribution." I really wish manufacturers would stick to industry standard terminology rather than making us their own names for things. Also included in the PowerIQ 4.0 spec is "Dynamic Power Distribution." That means that power isn't subtracted from a port at a certain rate just because you have a device plugged in to another port. It takes into account how much power each device is drawing and only reduces power to other ports based on that. For example, with the 65W model that I purchased, when a device is plugged in to each of the USB-c ports, those devices can draw 65W total between both devices. If my phone is drawing 18W to charge, my laptop can still draw 47W for itself. Without Dynamic Power Distribution, each device would be maxed out at 32.5W each. This charger is perfect for travel! It is half the size, yet twice as powerful as my previous Anker charger as well as having an additional USB-c charging port! It does get warm to the touch even charging something at half the rated output, but never so hot that it is concerning to me even at full load. My Galaxy S22 charges at "Super Fast Charge 2.0" with this charger and my laptop has pulled the full 65W from it. I haven't tested the suction cup support because most of the outlets I use are on power strips.I firmly believe that once again Anker has earned my business with form, function, and price. You will not regret buying this charger!

This charger has been extremely reliable; the brand Anker has came a long way. They’re definitely not one of the cheaper brands these days, but you get what you pay for in quality.I personally think Anker’s products are worth the price they ask, and expect them to hold up for quite sometime. I personally vouch for Anker as a brand… I’ve had one of their older dual USB charger for well over 5 years now that still works like the day it was ordered.Keep an eye out around holidays, and they’ll likely place it on sale. I lucked up on such a thing myself. The discount on them prior to Christmas was a “50% off in cart”coupon code leaving the cost at roughly $27 after purchase.Details of Charger:The charger’s outlet prongs can be flipped downwards into end of charger. ... MoreThis charger has been extremely reliable; the brand Anker has came a long way. Definitely makes travel carry much easier; however if you are buying just for home use then you’ll be surprised to find a silicone (maybe mixed with TPU) outer case with tiny suction cups all over that helps hold this heavier weighted, well-built charger in the outlet. They don’t mention casing in description for some reason, so the little surprise is cool.(… and no I’m not getting a free item as payment for this courteous review. Haha)

Update: Anker reached out to me and sent me an updated product. So far it has been working great!I was hoping this would be the last charger I need to buy for traveling. My goal was to use it to charge my iPhone, iPad, and then lastly Apple Watch via the USB-A port.I charge the watch at night and the USB A port doesn’t work half the time. When it does actually start charging the watch it will stop charging after a few minutes and then restart again which makes the watch vibrate/ding annoyingly especially when trying to sleep. It’s just unreliable especially when you want it to charge when you only have 15 minutes while you shower or something. The usb c ports seem to be more reliable but one night my phone would stop charging and then restart again.I really want ... MoreUpdate: Anker reached out to me and sent me an updated product. I love all my Anker products but this one is a dud for me. Maybe I have a bad one but I also read other reviews mentioning the same issue.
I purchased (4) Anker 735 65w chargers for use with Valve Steam Decks and had problems getting enough wattage to charge the deck while playing a game so I contacted customer support and received updated chargers that now output the proper 15v/3amp needed to keep the decks charged.Anker customer service was excellent, fast, and provided me with the options. Although I would have preferred the product met my needs from the factory, Anker did the right thing and updated their product and then provided excellent customer service. Great job Anker! Great customer service matters and is rare these days. I’ll spend more money on Anker products because they demonstrated they care. 10/10Also, the chargers are awesome so far and will hopefully stand up to the test of time. ... MoreI purchased (4) Anker 735 65w chargers for use with Valve Steam Decks and had problems getting enough wattage to charge the deck while playing a game so I contacted customer support and received updated chargers that now output the proper 15v/3amp needed to keep the decks charged.Anker customer service was excellent, fast, and provided me with the options. Relatively small in size but is super fast at charging my phone and tablet. It's also capable of charging and running my laptop and it's a fraction of the size of my computer charger. It does charge more slowly when multiple devices attached for charging, but does the job nicely. For traveling, it's a no-brainer to pack this charger to go with you. If charging one device at a time, only a single cable is needed to charge my phone, tablet and computer. Obviously, if charging everything at once you'll need more cables, but this gives you the option of simplifying your packing from your briefcase to backpack to carryon luggage. As a side note, it will charge my phone from 0% to 100% in about 40-45 minutes. What a time-saver! A 65 Watt optimized charging in small form: "C" x2 + USB A for quick charging capacity to power & charge several devices or a laptop / tablet computer. This Anker "GaN Series 7" with folding AC plug in a small size will produce 65 watt charging. The availability of C1 + C2 USB charging & USB A ports allows combined charge ports. The charger has a gimmicky cover which may hold it on the AC outlet, it works but it's not essential to its operation. Overall this Anker 735 charger has what I'd want to charge & power my tablet computer, phone, and headphones in a compact small & folding form.
If you're only traveling in your car or to work and back, you might not need this, but if you take regular trips with your laptop this is, IMO, a must have. GaN chargers are vastly smaller and lighter for their charging capability, and this one continues that tradition well so far.For testing, I let my laptop - a 15" HP ENVY x360 run down to nearly empty and then let this charger have a go at bringing it back to full. Not only did it do so happily, it didn't seem to get any warmer than my standard charger, and it can accommodate both my phones as well. Of course, keep in mind that it may not charge your laptop while charging the phones, but that's a given since most laptops require 65W.Given that most OEM chargers are in the same price range, it's still a good ... MoreIf you're only traveling in your car or to work and back, you might not need this, but if you take regular trips with your laptop this is, IMO, a must have. To test, I charged multiple "difficult" devices which typically reject third party chargers, including a 14" Dell Latitude, a 2019 16" Apple Macbook Pro, my HP ENVY, and a Google Pixelbook. They all charged without issue and at normal speed. In short, I recommend this charger for anyone who wants to shed a few pounds - from your bag - and leave a couple chargers at home when traveling.
I love Anker products. Solid construction, well made, and long lasting. This charger is perfect for me. Using just *one* outlet plug, you can charge 3 electronics: 2 USB-C and 1 USB-A. When one item is plugged in, it gets the full fast charge directed to it. When more are connected, it distributes the charge to the items. The charger block is slim, taking up no more room than a single block charger- it does not spill over in size blocking access to another outlet. The plug-in part folds in for travel. I’m using mine for daily use, but will also take it for travel. I initially bought it due to upgrading to the iPhone 14 and now having two Apple products with USB-C connectors (the phone and an iPhone mini), plus a regular iPad with a USB-A connector. I have been using an old Samsung phone charger for the massive battery of my Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra for 7 months, a charger that outputs a few volts. It was taking over 11 hours to charge from 10% to 90%.I researched a modern and advanced set of chargers, looking from Anker, Tecknet, Ugreen and more. They seemed comparable in tech and price but Anker had a small sale on this and the aesthetics were preferable, plus it os smaller and looked lighter than the others, so I chose it. I certainly have no regrets about this choice. It’s charging my S8 Ultra in 1.5 hours from 15% to full, it’s fantastic. It’s also generating no noticeable heat in my tablet or the charging brick itself.3 Ports is exactly as much as I’d need - Tablet, phone and Bluetooth earbuds. The 65W here is more than enough to have two of those things charged to full in short hours. I haven’t tried all 3 ports at once yet, no need, but it’s efficient and capable.I’m perhaps a little sad for being excited over a charger but after a couple of weeks with it I am very pleased. I’d recommend.Uploaded a photo for proof I’m not some bot review, and for showing the size of the brick. My hands are fairly big but the charger is still small.
