Pros: The AirPods Pro 2 are spectacular in many aspects. Firstly, these are incredibly easy to use and convenient, especially within the Apple Ecosystem. A simple one time pair is all you need, and from then connection is as simple as just opening the lid and putting them in your ears. Comfort is a major asset to the AirPods Pro 2. With a new XS tip in the box, these fit perfectly in my ears, almost feeling like they're not even there. If you need a different fit, the box also comes with small, medium and large tips (medium is already on the AirPods). Customization allows for comfort for anyone regardless of your ears.Noise cancellation is undoubltably an improvement over the first generation AirPods Pro and also AirPods Max. Customization allows for comfort for anyone regardless of your ears.Noise cancellation is undoubltably an improvement over the first generation AirPods Pro and also AirPods Max. It's difficult to determine if it's exactly x2 better, but many sounds that we're simply dampened before are almost fully cancelled out, and lower frequency sounds are mostly completely cancelled. I also noticed improvements with Transparancy mode, sounding even more realistic and like the AirPods aren't even in my ears. It's amazing. Adaptive Transparancy mode was also very effective, especially with extremely loud and sudden noises that can damage your hearing without Adaptive Transparancy on.Sound quality is spectacular. It's undoubtably an improvement over AirPods Pro 1 and any other AirPods models (even the AirPods Max in my opinion), and competes very well with other wireless earbuds in or above the price range. Bass is incredibly rich and was the first thing I noticed. Volume can reach even louder, and the sound profile is to my liking. Battery Life was also a welcomed improvement, lasting that ever bit longer (Around 1.5 hr) which can be extremely noticeable and crucial in many different situations. Charging with an Apple Watch charger can be extremely convenient if you don't have the magsafe charger and wish to just use one charger for both devices (if you own an Apple Watch too).Overall, I would recommend these for anyone looking to buy their first ever pair of AirPods Pro. If you're already in the Apple Ecosystem, I would recommend these over any other wireless earbuds, due to their immediate convenience and ease of use. For anyone with existing AirPods, you'll need to decide if you're having any limitations with your current ones as these limitations will very likely be alliviated with the 2nd Gen Pros. Cons: The microphone quality (on Phone calls) isn't as improved from previous AirPods as I would've wished, but nonetheless, is still completely fine.

Purchased at JL Oxford St on Friday, the day of release. I had been thinking of buying Airpod Pro (1st Gen) previously, but was drawn by the 2x ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) on these (2nd Gen). I am glad I waited for these to come out. I am Autistic, which means I experience Sensory Overload, so ANC truly helps. I find the ANC on Airpod Pro (2nd Gen), highly effective - instantly blocks out all daily noise. For comparison, this ANC feels more complete and superior, than the ANC on my (still great) old clunky Bose QC35 II headphones. For Running though, I use Powerbeats Pro, as ear hooks feel more secure for me, than wearing Bose headphones or Airpods. I like how on these Airpod Pro (2nd Gen), they have touch/stem controls. Akin to buttons on Powerbeats Pro, in that the stems can control Volume - slide finger up/down stem; Music playback - press stem 1x to Play/Stop; 2x to Skip Forward; 3x to Skip Back a track. I do not have Airpod Pro (1st Gen), so am unsure how they may compare in use. However, I could not be happier with these (2nd Gen). Overall, I find them intuitive to use with my iPhone; lightweight and comfortable to wear - I even wear them whilst sleeping now; compact and portable (no more carrying around clunky Bose headphones); with fast wireless charging and great battery life. Bit steep in price for me, but well worth it - for effective, portable ANC.

I've been Jabra faithful for many ears and the last iterations of their active headphones really let me down due to connectivity issues. I'm in the Apple ecosystem and the Apple AirPod Pros do not stay in my ears while exercising or even walking. It's been a bummer. These Beat Fit Pros literally do everything I need and more and I'm shocked it took so long to buy-in. I underestimated how amazing the Spatial Audio feature is and having native Apple UI to view charge levels and adjust settings is awesome to finally have. Spotify has playlists specifically for Spatial Audio too! They connect quickly and I do not get a drop in connectivity or interference at all. On calls, my friends do not notice I'm using them and background noise cancelation is solid. The noise cancelation was a feature I really enjoyed on my last flight. While exercising, I can do burpees, sprints, jumps, etc. and they barely move. Not having wireless charging is a non-issue for me - they charge faster with USB-C anyway. GET THEM!

These headphones are what you would expect from Apple. Well built, good quality and deliver great sound. The case is small enough for your pocket, without feeling bulky, but provides good additional battery life. AirPods themselves are great; the noise cancelling makes such a difference compared to original AirPods. The spatial audio is good, but only noticeable on some music tracks. It does make things a little more real though. The AirPods come with 3 sizes of in ear rubbers to get the right fit - which I know some people find useful. I bought a silicon case separately for these, which doesn't fit quite as well as perhaps an apple branded one might, but it keeps them protected. Both the case and the AirPods charge quickly; so you can go a good couple of days ... MoreThese headphones are what you would expect from Apple. Well built, good quality and deliver great sound. The case and AirPods connect quickly with an apple phone / laptop; just how Apple portray them too. Big points to the ease in which you can switch between devices.
I recently purchased the Apple AirPods from Very, and I have been extremely impressed with my purchase. The delivery was smooth and easy, with the option to collect it from my local post office with Royal Mail. The AirPods themselves are incredibly convenient, with easy pairing to my iPhone and seamless switching between devices. The sound quality is fantastic, with deep bass and clear treble. The battery life is impressive as well, lasting for hours on a single charge. And when the battery does run low, the charging case provides multiple additional charges before needing to be recharged itself. I also appreciate the level of customisation available, with the ability to change the double-tap function and access Siri with just a tap. Im not sure what to add that you might not have already read on a professional tech review site. The quality of noise cancelling is superb, its smooth and not abrupt when putting the buds in nor does it ever give you a blocked ear feeling like cheaper ANC earphones. Transparency mode actually works unlike competitors where it sounds like a robotic recording of the sounds around you piped in your ear. The fit is very comfortable, helped by the new XS tip size and that the stems reduce the bulk of the part that sits in your ear - but they can wiggle out a bit due to the gentle/light fit. The sound quality is fine, nothing I havent heard before on my Galaxy Buds (which were great with an iPhone until mine went missing and Samsung has now discontinued them - Samsungs newer ANC models no longer support the iOS app and have worse battery life than AirPods Pro 2 so why bother - the whole reason I preferred the old Samsungs is long battery life and iOS app support). The smart new usability features over the old AirPods Pro are the biggest physical difference really. They finally have swipe volume control, which I was surprised to find out older AirPods never had. Unlike my old Samsung ones, the controls are on the stem so you dont have to uncomfortably jam them in your ear just to use the controls. They have a speaker on the charging case if theyre misplaced, can be precisely located like AirTags, have support for using an Apple Watch charger in addition to MagSafe and standard wireless chargers and a lanyard loop if you want it. Only miss is using Lightning not USB-C, but otherwise a much smarter and user friendly case than competing products. Overall it performs as good premium set of ANC earbuds should with the addition of a lot of useful day to day practical features in the case - but of course youd only be able to take full advantage of the latter with the app controls on an iPhone. A good choice if youre new to AirPods but I would hold off if I had the already-good previous generation that already had decent noise cancelling.
I am a current Samsung Android user and always supported android products. I have owned Samsung Buds, Buds+, Live, all Beats branded earbuds, and even Amazon Alexa Earbuds. Somehow over time I have developed an allergic reaction to the rubber tips that go into your ear canal which caused my inner ear itchiness and irritation. I could no longer wear any types of buds so I decided to take a look at Apple Airpods since they do NOT have the rubber tip. I read that it also works with android phones since it is just bluetooth so decided to pair it with my Galaxy Fold 4. The Airpods fit perfectly in my ear and cause me no irritation. I could wear these Airpods for hours with no issues. They sound good, fit good, voice clarity is great for taking calls as well. My only con for these airpods is that it did not work with any of my wireless chargers because it was not an Apple wireless approved charger or a Magsafe wireless charger. I will continue to use these Airpods with my Android Phones since I am not a fan of Iphones unfortunately.
Having quite small ears I wasn't sure whether these headphones would be suitable. Before purchasing in JL I went to try them out and was delighted with the results as they come with different sized fittings for different sized ears. The noise cancelling feature is astounding it completely blocks out all surrounding sounds. When walking to work I use the transparency feature so that I can still hear traffic. The sound quality is superb. I prefer quite a bit of bass especially when listening to music and the levels are spot-on. I cannot really find anything negative to say about these headphones except I suppose the price but if you are someone who listens to podcasts, radio or music regularly then they are worth every penny. These are superb. They render high quality classical music and top quality recordings so well. They outclass the over ear Sony XM5s by a country mile, they are cheaper, and you don't look like a Cyberman when travelling, The Sony's are good have an artificial exaggerated bass that to be brutal is both flabby and lacking articulation. This shows up in good classical recordings. The Apples go very deep yet the bass is still clear and tight. They have the advantage of a much wider open sound stage too. They are nearly as good as my Beyer Professional Studio DT900 ProX which are open backed and used for mixing down studio recordings. That's an astonishing achievement technically. If you have newer Apple gear, get a set of these to transform your personal listening. Even with non Apple gear you can benefit from the buds outstanding quality but you won't get things like spatial audio etc. I cannot rave about these enough. If they last as long as my older ones I'll be happy. There are a couple of family members in the queue for those which are still good. These are just brilliant. I noted someone commenting on the build quality. Not in my case. Beautiful build and super comfy. Make sure you do the ear fit test to get the best out of them.
Considered buying the 2nd generation but after using my brothers I was sold. My mom brought the 2nd gen and returned them for these as well because the added features are worth $40 extra bucks. They charge super fast. I love the spatialize sound. I’ve been using them nonstop since getting them. The shape is perfect I’ve had other Bluetooth headphones and hated the shape so would use them until they die and then not again for a while but these babies go with me everywhere. Wearing one so you can answer calls while driving and doing things is how I like to wear mine. Or switching between the two while the other charges. The only issue I have with these are that they don’t have a volume rocker Apple is so trifling sometimes likee why would you only put that basic feature on the pros. Which I wouldn’t get because I hate the rubber ends. I’m using them currently. They were just dead 10 mins ago I put them in the case and they were right back at 50%.
