Apple iPhone 13 Mini 256GB Pink Good

The device came in an excellent condition. I took some time to set it up and transfer apps and services from the old device. All of a sudden, the screen would only flicker for a second or so when picking the device up or pressing the power button. There was no way to access the device anymore - not even via iTunes. Luckily I had not yet wiped the old device but all my chats from Signal and WhatsApp where (mostly) lost as I had not yet backed it up.I had to return the device because the repair or replacement would take to long for me (up to 10 days). The process of returning the device and getting it refunded worked excellent. Support gladly helped me to prepare the device.

Compact design, pastel pink color, diagonal camera, and the change in lens arrangement is quite an interesting point. The battery capacity has been significantly upgraded, supporting fast charging to help fully charge the battery quickly. The iPhone has many new photography features, one of which is Cinematic Mode, which locks focus on a certain subject and adjusts the focus as the subject moves around the frame. Cinematic Mode combined with Dolby Vision HDR helps record professional videos and smoother transitions. This iPhone also features Photographic styles, a new type of color filter based on algorithms that allows users to edit photos in real time to their liking. Great little package, but not for a power user who needs longer battery life and battery has degraded quickly.

Great size and, with the brighter screen, I have not noticed that it's smaller than my iPhone X. Battery is not amazing though, but that's due to it being a very neat little package that slips nicely in my front pocket rather than the back one, from which my old phone had slipped a couple of times. The glass back on the recent iPhone range is very prone to cracking and is basically a "live with it" problem, which is pretty rubbish really. Can't understand the thinking of having something so fragile that cannot be replaced. It's probably not water resistant anymore and that's a pain and it's lost that sleekness that is what you pay for in an iPhone. 10 months in and the battery is now at 85%, which is dreadful and causing a lot of problems when travelling. I am pretty stunned how great this phone is!

I had to review it 5 stars after seeing the mixed reviews. I think we got a good one, because the phone looks nearly flawless and the wife has been very happy so far. No major scratches, some light ones on the screen, but have no impact once the phone is in use. Battery life came at 87%, which isn't terrible and a big upgrade from the iPhone 8 that she had. Also, I was scouring the deals sites - Amazon, Woot, Swappa, etc. - for a similar unlocked iPhone 13 mini 256gb, and this was the best price by far. It beat Amazon by nearly $40 bucks and it came next day! (Amazon was scheduled to come in 2 weeks). I'm also shocked that we have 3 months to return it, if it does start to have issues. I'm pretty stunned how great this purchase was. I will buy from Walmart again!

It’s better than what I had

I had a 2016 iPhone and unfortunately it started to give me some problems, battery wise and storage. I knew it was time to upgrade but, I didn’t want a phone that had so many things to relearn and that I really didn’t need. I just wanted a good phone to get my phone calls, text, take pictures, and have more storage than my old one had. I also wanted one that wasn’t going to be bigger than my old one, this one fit my needs. The guy at Verizon helped answer my questions and showed me the different options, which helped me to make my decision. He also made sure everything was transferred over to my new phone, which I was thankful for that. I’m still getting use to the facial ID thing, but over all I’m happy with my new phone so far. If you’re looking for something that’s easy to use, I’d say check this phone out. It’s just a little bit bigger, but still as thin as my old phone. I had to go on line to find out why my phone would ring loud but once I picked it up it was quiet. I found out it was because of the Face ID thing, but you can fix that. Now even when I pick it up to see who’s calling it will still ring loud and not go silent. No instructions to help though. Also it does take a little longer to charge and the cords I had for my old phone won’t work, so I had to buy new cords, but the new cords also work for my IPad. All in all it’s doing what I need and want it to do for me.

Screen, charging, battery issues

Free new iphone13mini upgrade with old iphone11 trade-in. Received iphone13mini as scheduled. Unable to using lightning charger (no block to go with cord), so used old iphone11 charger. 100% charged and successful activation. Once on main Home Screen, first issue was certain screen parts on iphone13mini doesn't respond on one or multiple taps. Second issue was while trying to charge (2nd charge), iphone13mini wasn't charging. Changed charger using another lightning charger (correct charger), iphone13mini still didn't charge. Both different chargers worked well and charged other iPhones normally (tested on spouse and mothers iPhones). After several hours multiple attempts, finally 100%...only for it to die 3 hours later with only minimum phone activity! By the 3rd ... MoreFree new iphone13mini upgrade with old iphone11 trade-in. I wanted it in pink, but when I placed the order the digital agent/representative gave me three color options that were not on backorder, and I wanted to be able to have my phone at the same time as the rest of my family. I also had a tablet that was on backorder, but it came the same day as everything else. So, now I can't help but wonder if I should have just said I would wait and it probably would have come on the same day as well.Onto the actual review... Its the perfect size, although I didn't get pink because the digital rep made it seem like I would wait a couple weeks to a month for just a color, the blue is a very nice shade of blue. I wish it were a little shade, but at least it isnt so dark and close to black as the new iPhone 14 dark purple color. There is only the standard colors and that dark purple for the new line of iPhones and it did not appeal to me at all.Performance wise, I think this phone is just about as good as any other phone at this point. It's fast and it does heat up if you're using it on the charger, so I advise not to do so, haha. The battery life could be better, my Samsung Galaxy ZFlip 4 has a much more significant battery life. Sometimes, Safari just freezes and stops loading, then I need to exit the app and go back in, even have to close the tab and reenter the URL for it to load a page, but that is most likely just the app.Battery life usually is not a problem for me, but I don't like having to charge my phone during work, as I work a graveyard shift at a senior living home, and I need some type of entertainment on down times. I have never had the need to charge my Galaxy ZFlip 3 or Galaxy ZFlip 4 while at work.Other than the battery life, the phone is good. I don't really have anything bad to say about it right now.

[Rewarded Review] Near new refurbishment

The phone was as close to perfect. If the refurbishment had replaced the screen due to a small scratch this would have been a 5-star review. The battery was 100% . That really offset the scratch on the screen. The phone was delivered fast and was up and running in minutes. This was a big leap from my old iPhone 6. The size of the mini was perfect and the ios supreme. I'm not sure what all the crying about the 13 Mini battery life is about. My first few days on the phone had heavy use over a 14-hour day and the battery was still at 30 percent come evening. This is a keeper.

[Rewarded Review] Very Frustrasted - I need this fixed

After two days, the phone stopped workin- alternating between a black screen and an apple logo screen. It won’t turn on or off. Then it shows a “connect to a computer, go to apple support and restore”. iTunes won’t recognize it so I can’t do anything.Upon closer inspection, I don’t think the screen is a real apple screen - there is chrome around the speaker and the screen is not completely flat. There are distortions in the reflection, I’ve never seen an iPhone screen like that.I need a phone for work. This is unacceptable.

iPhone 13 mini

I decided it was time to update my phone from iPhone 7. It was tempting to get a bigger screen but I also wanted true pocket-ability (without annoyance). Price point and value for money was also in my mind.After watching many YouTube video reviews I concluded that iPhone 13 mini was the replacement to go for. It was almost identical in size to my iPhone 7 and has a slightly bigger screen! A good enough camera for me. Up to date chip: hopefully meaning many years of OS updates. The reality of the device exceeds my expectations.The screen is much better: very crisp. Still getting used to the cameras on this. The size is perfect for me.I was used to touch ID and concerned about Face ID: it's fine. The share edge design looks good but the feel was not as comfortable in the hand as the old iPhone 7. I needed a case/cover and although this covers up the Starlight finish it softened the edges.I have a pair of iPod Pros 2 which worked fine with the iPhone 7 but the old OS and camera meant I couldn't use the ear mapping thing. I can now although I'm not sure if it's resulted in an improvement in sound but it was nice to be able to do it.All told I am pleased with my choice.
