Disappointed

The Iphone 15 is a disappointment in performance and durability over my old Galaxy A51. The old A51 is a 4G phone that runs the Android OS. It did nothing special but was durable with no screen protector and a simple Incipio 2 piece case. After having the A51 for a few years I decided to upgrade because my employer uses Apple products to communicate. I was also waiting for Apple to stop using proprietary charging cords which seems wasteful and environmentally unfriendly.I paid extra for shipping which is insulting after a one thousand dollar purchase. The phone arrived and I couldn't connect it to the 5G service or make calls. I had to wait on hold on my old phone as a customer service rep connected new my phone to the Verizon network. Once up and running I put on the same model Incipio case for the Iphone as I had used for the A51. No issues but the Incipio case doesn't protect the camera lenses very well. I had screen protectors ordered but they arrived 2 days later than the phone. In the 2 days of using the Iphone before the screen protectors arrived the screen was scratched while carrying it in my pocket with some change or a key. My A51 lasted it's entire life in my pocket with the same change and keys without a scratch. It was returned to Verizon in almost new condition. The Iphone has been a disappointment in durability in less than a week of owning it.The OS on the Iphone is different and takes some getting used to but nothing made me say wow this is so much better than the Android OS. I still need all the Microsoft 360 junk to send and receive emails and run reports so nothing stands out as great for the Iphone.Overall just another handheld mind control device that tracks my every move and monitors my speech for unpopular opinions. In a word, Boring.

Everything works great!

Not sure which product/service I’m reviewing because I went to Verizon to switch internet providers but ended up switching multiple things. I had internet service with Xfinity and if I remember correctly or up to a year at least, my WiFi would intermittently disconnect…sometimes 6 times a day. So I would have to go and unplug, wait, and then it would work. So after dealing with this for a long time and trying EVERYTHING Xfinity suggested, I looked into other providers. My options were limited and I was very weary about internet through Verizon because I didn’t know much about the quality of internet service through 5G or LTE. Incredibly Disappointed with US Cellular

I was informed that this was an unlocked phone, as I purchased it upfront. Much to my surprise when I went abroad, I discovered it was not and I could not the UK sim card I purchased for my vacation. I wasted $1000 on a phone I was unable to use that I had specifically purchased before vacation. The phone itself is fine, standard Apple product, but I am horribly disappointed with US Cellular. I was told the phone was unlocked and I would have no issues while abroad. Instead, I was essentially left stranded. Fortunately I was not traveling alone and was able to make use of the purchased sim card on my mom's phone. My only option was to hope that spending a significant amount of money on upgrading plans would allow me to use international roaming for more exorbitant costs, but without being in the US I was not guaranteed for this to work, so really I had no option. My only disappointment with the phone itself is the camera quality - my understanding was that it would be equivalent to the Pro version basically with the exception of the zooming feature.

NIGHTMARE!

This phone is a JOKE in EVERY way! As is the service from Verizon. This has been one of the biggest nightmares of my life, and with severe health issues, it’s an even bigger nightmare that’s literally causing dangerous stress levels.The phone camera is a joke! You can’t focus in on anything like important paperwork or any writing, on anything at all—it’s just complete blurriness. I can’t pair the Apple Watch series 9 I just got and need the info from for my heart rate issues. It’s now useless, and I’m paying $35/month on it for the next year, and I live on disability, I went from paying nothing on someone else’s phone plan to $100/mo. for this almost useless object, which they already want the money for! Some what satisfied

I like the feel and color of my new iPhone15.However, there are some concerns about the flashlight being so dull. Also, when trying to listen to music using headphones for some reason it activates Siri and the music stops. It’s also concerning that customer support inside the Verizon stores are now very limited. I was sorry and disappointed when I returned to the Verizon store after upgrading my phone seeking support for a problem I encountered and didn’t know how to solve. Everyone is NOT fluent users of cell phones. It’s embarrassing to walk in a store seeking support and leave feeling degraded. I immediately felt negative vibes from the customer service rep when I walked into the store. Sometimes it’s almost too hot to handle

There was an improvement in that the picture I used from my wallpaper was full screen as opposed to just part of the screen. Otherwise, everything pretty much stayed the same although, I can’t really tell because the first iPhone 15 I got was defective so I can’t really judge things because I don’t know if they are working 100%. But I did notice and it may be a defect with the phone I’m still using & haven’t sent back yet because the delivery was delayed twice so far. Anyhow gets incredibly hot whenever music is played. It never did on my previous iPhone. But I don’t know if this is a defect or is something with the new operating system or new hardware, but as we speak, it is cooling off and has probably gone down, about 25° so far. Unhappy customer

I just recently purchased an IPhone 15, updating from an Apple SE. Granted I am used to the SE but this phone is too big for my back pocket, heavy and clunky. It is uncomfortable to hold to your ear and talk because of its size and weight. And, I don't think the camera quality is anywhere as good as the SE. Along with the new phone came a new plan and, thanks to all the good folks at Verizon, my account is so hosed up that I don't know if it will ever be straightened out. It seems like not one person can correct what's going on, everyone prior to that person gave me the incorrect information, my account is now cleared up with credits being applied, my new bill will be exactly as they say and when the bill amount is posted ... that's wrong too. I will be spending another 2 hours on the phone with them probably this week to try to straighten out the account once more.

iPhone 15

Not happy so far with this phone. Took me hours to set it up as far as nothing saved was kept. I had to re enter every single password , more than once , I might add. Then all week having problems with focus. Alarm would go off , I’d get up and phone and watch still stays black. I’d have to play with it everyday. Today pushed it too far. My Apple car play was no longer on my car screen. Never thought that problem would turn out to be the Apple phone problem, but I went to the dealer and 3 technician looked at it ( 2 of them with the same car and phone as me) and couldn’t figure it out. Got 2 more new chargers and tried them. Also didn’t work. Was on my way to the Apple Store when my daughter looked and my phone , and isn’t even sure what she did but she went into ... MoreNot happy so far with this phone. I think Apple and Verizon need to give better instructions on setting up especially for seniors which they know o am ( 55+loyalty) I could have wasted a $199 deductible for the car warranty for nothing.
