The ARB high-volume twin on-board compressor was designed to suit the high volume airflow needs of most air powered tools. It also suits the actuation and control needs of the ARB Air Locker in the harsh and demanding environment of the ARB Air Locker user. Good quality. Read up on this compressor. Install was straight forward. This was actually a military concept that ARB designed for the military. They didn’t get the contract but instead sold it to the public and good thing cause its fast and reliable! The only minor downside i have to say is that it didn’t come with the elbows and connecting braided hose (sold separately). Other than that, no complaints

The ARB Twin On Board Air Compressor is a game changer. I have it mounted under the hood of my 2015 Wrangler JK Unlimited. Mine is a few years old and I have no complaints. Installation wasn’t bad. I highly recommend the ARB Twin On Board Air Compressor

Right out of the box you can tell that it’s a high quality piece that’s going to live up to the demands.The kit comes with everything to power and control the compressor but if you’re looking to install it under the hood, you’re going to need an aftermarket bracket. Considering that will be my main use for this compressor, I’m really happy.

The arb on board air compressor is greatAlthough they don't make specialty brackets for my specific tacoma I was able to fabricate one and install the compressor in the desired location it works great and I cant sayEnough about it great product all as round would Definitely recommend it
Having onboard air makes such a difference, not only for my tires but for other camp life too, like air mattresses, drying or blowing off stuff, etc. This compressor is quicker than my big garage wheeled unit I used to truck around. Im so happy with it. Its expensive, but worth it,
It's a great piece of equipment. I love this thing. Installed it on a 2018 JK Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with a MORE mounting plate. I also added the remote fitting to get the added convenience with the access point. I'm really happy with the purchase and the peace of mind it brings into my off roading :)
I installed this on an M.O.R.E. bracket I purchased from Quadratec. The bracket was tricky to install but the compressor only had 4 bolts. ARB includes an over simplified wiring diagram that is great if you are using this for separate switches, front and rear lockers, manifolds, etc. I have electronic lockers therefore I simply wanted this to fill up tires after a day of rock crawling. I had to go to the internet and find a true wiring schematic from ARB to omit their supplied wiring harness and switches. I provided my own wires to my own switch. The ARB supplied power supply wires were long enough so that I shortened them for a cleaner install. Simple enough. As for the performance of the compressor I am extremely impressed. Thats about 5 min. on 35 x 12.5 and 10 min. for 40 x 13.5. Those numbers far exceed my expectations of this product. Great product! Highly recommend.
I have several issues with this product. First, the location where you attach your air fitting is really small. There's no way to get a wrench in there to tighten the fitting down. I tried several fittings. I also bought the associated hose kit, and the fitting is way too large to tighten down with a wrench. Second, this compressor gets really hot. That in and of itself isn't an issue, except that the ARB hose can pop off its fitting when the pump gets too hot. I called ARB and they said not to use that hose attachment. They said they sell something else since the pump gets too hot and someone was burned by it. The guy I talked to at ARB recommended I NOT use their hose kit with this compressor. I no longer have to carry my Smitty built in the back of my Jeep. This fit very nicely in the engine compartment with the M.O.R.E mount. It is quieter than the Smitty built and faster, but a lot more expensive. I am glad I finally had the money for it now.
Just installed it today, had to mount in on top of the engine. (2005 TJ) Very impressed with the wiring harnesses and ease of install. The directions were very easy to follow and the custom wiring harnesses made the usually tedious wiring very easy. Already tried out the compressor to top off my tires. Can't wait to put it to the test airing up next off roading trip. I'm sure it'll live up to the ARB name.
