How can they charge so much for something that needs to be painted, has a unusable tow hitch, and requires drilling, and has you remove your perfectly good tow package? I made the mistake of ordering this bumper not realizing the receiver hitch was just a decoration. (My bad) I quickly returned it and ordered the Hyline off-road bumper that comes painted no drilling and allows the use of my factory tow package.
I preferred the MOPAR brand due to the several reviews I read. Quadratec was great on quickly shipping the product as always!
Wired these on the rear of my Jeep to act as aux. reverse lights and rear task lights. REALLY bright. Good price compared to other brands.
I haven't purchase this package yet, but my nephew received and installed it a few weeks ago. The products work and look great! I can't wait to get this setup for my TJ. The only way you can experience an issue with this product package would be if you have no mechanical skills whatsoever. I guarantee that only other review is from somebody that has no idea what they're doing. The guy couldn't even form sentences correctly
Easy install with EVO mount. Had issues with the pressure switch, contacted ARB and they sent a new one out. No stickers included from ARB
Overall, they are nicely made and they look good. But for me they're useless with the light pods I have (Nilight and EyeYourLife). Once fitted to the Wrangler the top mounting plate is (almost) horizontal and so the pod can be positioned facing forwards - great. But the lower light mounting plate is at a strange angle, going backwards about 30 degrees and with these two makes of light and their mountain brackets it's impossible to get the pod facing forwards. Obviously with some other brands these brackets may be OK, but for me they are useless, check your pod adjustment limits before buying. I don't know why they made it at that angle, it would have been more logical to have the mounting plates horizontal or vertical and cater for all models of light pods.
I just put this on my jeep. one of the best mods I have done. Right now I only use it for tire inflation. But I can easy hook up. Air lockers later. I hooked it up to my painless performance trail rocker setup. Took a little to figure out the wires but not that hard. I called customer service and they where very helpful.
