As the fall season has come around again, I have pulled out my Cerium jacket and am always pleased to wear it. Like all my other Arc’teryx gear this jacket is simple, stylish and high quality. It keeps me warm even during the cold -30C days and is fairly wind resistant. If you need a little more wind resistance and extra warmth just throw a light shell over top. Lastly, this jacket performs well in the city and also during a variety of activities such as hiking, skiing and etc… Fantastic overall

Garbage. I purchased this directly from Arc'teryx last December (item has been owned for less than a year and probably actually used less than a few months) and it has started to fall apart. Please let me explain. I began to notice several small tears around the jacket due to the insulation sticking out of the Black Sapphire shell. I've used this jacket for only casual outings and it practically has been babied. The jacket fit is good and it hasn't been abused in the closest sense. Why is this happening? Great question...I contacted Arc'teryx customer regarding a replacement and the best they could do was offer to send me "Tenacious Tape" appropriately sized for my tears and proceeded to explain to me how it was a good solution that prevents the hole from getting ... MoreGarbage. Right...I guess I can walk around with a rad taped up jacket that reflects the gnarly outdoor stuff I've done with it. Not. It's been used to walk around town not bushwhacking. This was a response due to the item "damage" not being covered under Arc'teryx Limited Warranty. I admired this brand and have several items from them but will consider alternatives in the future. You may want to do yourself a favor and steer well clear from this due to others having the same issue. Bottom line, save your money on this one and consider purchasing another brand.

Hands down the warmest jacket I have ever owned. It's almost too warm! Great for when your stationary and need to warm up. Find myself having to take it off if I'm on the move and the weather is on the milder side or cold. Great for winter conditions though. Opted for no hood as i can use it under my outer. Highly recommend!

Love this new green colour. I am always cold and this Cerium Jacket solves my problems. Super lightweight yet warm. Love this. Already looking at another one in a different colour. This size fits me perfectly so that helps.
Jacket material is so flimsy that it rips easily with anything g that is even remotely sharp. That’s not even the worst part, the zipper is horribly made and will get stuck or not zip up correctly half the time. Jacket ripped up after a couple weeks, then 2 months later the zipper completely fell off. Was definitely expecting something better quality because of the high price.
I bought this jacket a month ago. It fits well and is very warm, however I quickly experienced a rip in the fabric with much of the down insulation falling out .Since I had only worn the jacket for 2-3 weeks with light use (walking to and from my car to work, walking my dogs at night), I reached out to Arc’teryx for a replacement or exchange. They were extremely unhelpful and offered to send me a complimentary piece of duct tape to patch the rip. No offer to exchange or refund the item, as any rips fall out of the scope of their warranty.I have had multiple down jackets from other companies and this is by far the least durable and most fragile, as well as the most expensive. This is my 2nd purchase of the same jacket. (My son stole my other one.)This is a great layer jacket to use under a shell for cold weather. I mainly use it when the temperature to ski is colder than -20 Celcius - which is not uncommon at Mont Tremblant. It's super warm for me.
Jacket is already leaking down feathers and has puncture after only 2 months of ownership. Customer support is not helpful and will not help to repair or replace under warranty. Love the look and style of the jacket but extremely disappointed by the quality; sad as I’ve been an Arc’teryx fan and customer for years.
Took this jacket to sunrise hike to Garibaldi and Panorama Ridge and it was more than enough to keep me warm with just a T-shirt underneath. Only one thing that bothered me was the breathability and wearing during high intense activity even with just a t-shirt underneath, I did sweat quite quickly and made it very difficult to take the jacket off after. Other than that, I loved how it packs itself in the bag from the inside pocket of the jacket, extremely lightweight and very comfortable. This is my first ever down jacket and it may have to be my only one because of how versatile and warm it is.
This is an incredibly lightweight & warm jacket! It fits well under a shell, and can also function as a great-looking standalone jacket in dry conditions. It's best advised to try before you buy - this run (Winter 2023) is slightly small. At 6'2, 220lbs, I opted for the XL for appropriate sleeve length.
