Armada Grease Proof Paper 30m

Food wrap. I have a roll of this in my cupboard and use it to wrap my food in, such as sandwiches and cheese before putting in plastic resealable bags. I’ve also found it good for tracing and placing between my art work to protect it. It works for what it was meant for but these days baking paper is a better product. $1. 60 for 30 metres is cheap. It is not suitable for cooking.

Snob for baking paper. So im known as the snob for baking paper I have only ever bought a particular brand, which is a lot more expensive than this one. I LOVE cooking alll things so I do go through A LOT Buy i was suprised this was not to bad to use. I would prefer it in the larger size roll and also in better packaging like a box with the tear strip. for ease. But that's the only negative thing for me as the price was grest, easy to find just lacking size and packaging Thank you Bunch

Not Much Use For Me. I only recently discovered there was a difference between grease proof paper and baking paper. Grease proof paper is not meant to go in the oven, therefore I can’t rate this item poorly for not performing well in oven. I don’t really have a need for paper that can’t go in the oven. But on the very rare occasion can use it to wrap a sandwich or block of cooking butter etc and in this case this item does the job.

Great quality product. Handy and useful for a variety of baking and oven cooking. Having purchased only one brand prior to having this one to try has me thinking that this one will be added to the favourites and necessities for my tidy non stick oven cooking preference. Thick enough that it does not tear when in use and yet still able to rip clean and straight when needed. Would happily recommend this product to anyone who enjoys baking and spending time in the kitchen.

Terrible. Good sticks to it. Now that I’ve read all the other reviews that say it can’t be used for baking in the oven I’m confused. It did say for wrapping food or baking I thought? (I’ve thrown out the packaging so can’t check). I put this straight into an old box but found it very inconvenient that it didn’t come in a box. My food stuck to it terribly. Won’t be using it again. Not sure what to do with it now!

Useless baking paper. I used this paper in my bamboo steamer to prevent dumplings sticking and it disintegrated and stuck to the dumplings. I used it to bake cookies and it became greasy and transparent and again stuck to the cookies. I also used it to line trays to cook pizza and again it disintegrated and stuck to the food. This paper is the same poor quality as every other low priced ‘baking’ paper. Will definitely stick to Glad Bake.

It does what its intended to do. Excellent product if used for its intended purpose. I use it to wrap certain foods in, i. e. great for keeping celery and lettuce. Wrap in greaseproof then wrap over that with foil. The greaseproof stops the food getting that black aluminium stain on it and it keeps the food for so much longer. As others have mentioned, a serrated edged box/container would be a good idea.

Good product. Not what I thought it was. I don’t wrap sandwiches, we use sandwich containers. Cannot be used in the oven, as I would want to. I do prefer the boxes with cutting strip for convenience. Probably wouldn’t purchase in the future as it’s not something I would use. Good product and does the job it is stated for. Wrapping, storage and lining.

Great paper. I recently made some apple pies and steak pies, I kept the left over pastry and used the grease proof as layers for the pastry. I went back to it a week later and reused the pastry, it came away cleanly without any pastry sticking to the paper. If you are cooking any pastry dishes and make your own pastry, this paper is great for the left overs as layers. Reasonable price, tears cleanly, great in cake tins. The down sides to this paper is that it's not in suitable packaging, could be a great product if boxed, would make storage a better thing as well, I keep all my paper product, cling film and alfoil together as they stack very wellStill I Highly recommend this product

Useless for baking. We purchased this 'grease proof paper' to place in the box when the Armada Baking Paper ran out. Little did we know it is absolute rubbish for baking and cooking in general. It is not 'baking paper' or to be used in any sort of cookery. Food sticks to the paper and the paper actually cooks into the food leaving one to try to peel the paper from the item you've cooked to eat. In microscopic lettering under 'grease proof paper', it states cannot be used in oven or microwave. In more micrscopic writing near the barcode, it states that if you're not completely satisfied with this product please return to your store for a replacement or refund. We purchased two of these rolls but as one has been opened and partially used, i will be returning the unopened roll to the store tomorrow and buy some actual grease proof paper that we can cook with. This roll is only suitable for placing in between pieces of meat etc that you intend to freeze or just want to separate. It claims it is used for 'lining', but for lining what i'll never know because it lines nothing well. The 'cannot be used in oven or microwave' needs to be written in a decent sized font so that people can read and know that it's not for cooking use.
