I just needed some more Strong Tone but has always been curious about the colored washes. I had seen this set at other stores but when I saw MM's price it was a no brainer to get this set to replenish my Strong Tone and to try out the other washes as well. I'm happy to report I've had plenty of success thus far and am glad I picked this set up.

I got 4 washes in the mega set and bought the rest of these as individual bottles. These really make the models look so much better than just solid colors. The shadows it creates shows a lot of detail. These are very easy to use and recommended for beginners and experts.

Very good set of washes. Covers your absolutely necessary shades: Strong/Dark/Soft. These are you basic brown/black shadow colors. Also has more washes in blue, green, red, and purple than you will ever need.

I just used a very tiny amount on my detail brush and basically let it flow into the folds and crevices on my minis. It adds a different dimension to the figure. If you look at it from different angles it seems the figure looks more to life. Very satisfied with these and will practice to improve my skill in using them.
This product truly is liquid talent. It makes even the novice painter create minis that look fantastic. Over the Brick is also a fantastic company to order from. I've created multiple orders through them, and they are correct and timely at getting them to my door. Both receive an A+!
Put simply these are some of the best washes I've ever used. The array of colors lends itself to a ton of creative applications. The viscosity of these washes makes them easy to use and control. Another excellent value from Army Painter.
I ordered these, more as a general replacement/top up because I was running low on a bunch of standard colours. It is the first I have used Army Painter products. As they have been criticised for, by others, you have to shake the heck out of them before use. Once you do though the coverage is smooth and complete. The brush it comes with is nice too. I'd recommend it, just make sure to warm up your arm so you don't pull anything.
This is a must have for miniature painters! These washes and shades will transform your painting and help you take it to the next level. It's remarkable how much better your miniatures will look after using these. And the variety of colors/tones in this set is almost unmatched. I can't imagine painting without them.
I call these magic paints, These washes and tones can really transform your painting. They "automagically" give your miniatures highlights and shadows. They also give color and life to not so well painted miniatures. Miniatures now a days have tons of details. that Don't always show up right after a base coat. I find washes a great way to help paint large armies quickly.
I didn't understand the value of washes for awhile after painting miniatures. Once you get an understanding of which color/tone to use where though, you'll be "mind blown" at how these washes adds details and helps you blend your base coat together. This set would cover you for ages and just about every situation you can think of with this variety.
