These boots were recommended by my podiatrist due to plantar fasciitis. They allow me to do my work, walking through rugged terrain in the bush without being in pain during or at the end of the day. The boots work well with orthotics. These boots could be improved, the soles don't last more than eighteen to twenty four months. The sole splits and I have been stick injured through a crack in the sole.

Only work boot I can wear as steel blu and Oliver's etc make my feet hurt. Was recomended these by a Podiatrist and the are very comfortable and great foot support.The inner sole fabric peels after a while but you can just buy fresh ones at the chemist. Still the best boots, I been buying these for years and will be the only boot I will ever buy as long as they keep making them.

Real deal. Highly recommend. I added the ergonix blue inner sole for extra support and the combination has completely changed my mobility range from a couple of hours (max) on feet to all day. I've had reconstructive back surgery at L4/5 Level and also suffer from lower leg nerve issues, cramping, planta fascia etc - I'm circa 105kg. I've already spent $1000s on trying different foot ware to help manage my injuries - this is "BY FAR" the best outcome so far.

They used to be a good boot until they changed the sole. Used be cream in colour and had air cushioning could not fault them. Then they changed to a black hard cheaper sole and kept price the same. I don't know why they would change when they were a great quality boot. I am definately trying a pair of Cat Boots next. They are same price and have been given a great review.
Really comfortable and supportive work boots. I need a wide fitting and these boots offer that as well as a comfortably padded insole. I can wear them all day without any comfort issues.
The staff at the Wintergarden store were very helpful. They sized my feet well and provided boots for trial. They didn't have the selected style/size in stock (hardly a surprise when you're buying work boots from an inner-city store) but took the time to record the details for my on-line ordering. Boots arrived within 24 hours of order! The fit was great and the new boots were comfortable for a week on site. The wide fit was a reason for purchase and the composite toe-cap a benefit at airport security.
I have been in the construction industry for over 30 years and have gone through many different steel cap boots. I tried all the brands and all the types.I bought my first Ascent Alpha Safety boot early last year and haven't looked back.I have finally found a boot that not only is it super comfortable but it's a lot lighter with the use of a composite safety toe instead of a steel caps.The zipper has not failed me once is strong and easy to zip.
These are the most comfortable and hard wearing boots I have owned in years. I wear them every day working around my rural property. The comfort level is exceptional as I can be in them 8 - 10 hrs a day without any problems. I am about to purchase my 3rd pair in 4 yrs as I just wear them out.
The only work boots my husband will wear now. I'm assuming these are comfortable as my husband will only have me re buy these ones. He has gone in store where they don't seem to ever have his size in stock but will wait for me to get them online. He has been wearing these for quite a few years too, he also wears the non laced ones when he isn't wearing these. I believe he needed a pair stright away once and purchased another known brand and did not rebuy them when they needed replacing. i believe he had buyers regret as soon as he wore them lol
5 star rating all round. Most comfortable work boot I have ever owned. Gone through many different types and brands. This out does them all. Hands down. No doubt. This boot covers all aspects of safety and comfort coupled with secure fitting and reliability. Will only buy and own this type and brand of work shoe from now on
