Bought these 2e wide fit shoes for my child to wear to school. He's had them for 2 weeks and says they feel good to wear and only took a day or 2 to wear in. I've bought Ascent brand before and they stood up to daily wear for a year and were in a good condition to pass on to charity. After trying a different brand last year, that didn't last, I've gone back to Ascent.

I’ve been purchasing Ascent Apex school shoes for my children for over 8 years. They are very well made and comfortable for the kids to wear as a formal shoe, but with flexibility for kicking a ball and running around at school. My son is incredibly hard on shoes, destroying some brands in under a week. These last him 6 + months. I won’t purchase any other brand.

Very comfortable, stylish school shoe. My 10 and 12 year old boys love the comfort and it fits their orthodics. The shoe was recommended by our podiatrist because it looks like a formal school shoe but performs like sneakers due to the sole support/shape. Leather is breathable so the shoes never smell! No need to wear-in as they are comfortable from the first day. We have bought this style from Athletes Foot for years and love their foot analysis machine/video to help with size and fit.
