I bought these a size bigger when my son started Year 5 & he wore them almost everyday until the end of Year 6. Even with playing sport during school breaks, walking to & from the bus etc, they lasted beautifully. A quality, comfortable & long-lasting shoe - would highly recommend!

My son wears these for school and works and he said they are very comfortable. He had Clarks before but said these are much more comfortable. They dont hurt his feet and these are the 2nd pair I brought for him and also buying for his brother. We will highly recommend.

They fit well and have lasted a lot longer then the cheap shoes we've got in the past. Good support for playing sport during breaks.
Great shoe for my growing boy. He had a slightly different model (same brand) that he outgrew after a year - it had very wear on the sole, but the upper took a beating. The shoe needed to be tough but also kind to his body for long and active wear. Great that I could buy online from The Athletes Foot. Been a tough wearing, good shoe for my boys who have been very, very hard on them! One pair has lasted 3 terms, the other pair is just entering it's 4th term of school with lots of soccer, running, football and general wear and tear.. Definitely worth it!
This is the third time I have purchased Ascent Scholar shoes for our teenager as his feet grow. They are well made, supportive, and can handle all day wear and lots of basketball at breaks. Recommend. Very helpful staff as well.
Excellent school shoe. I buy this for my son every year and they last him 12 months of school without fail. No matter how much he scuffs his shoes or kicks his toes. They are fantastic and well worth the money.
Great school shoes that look neat even with skinny legs and big feet. They last our lot until they grow out of them and there’s still lots of life left in them even then. They don’t fall apart and polish up as new despite being subjected to some crazy wear and tear. Local stores had sold out of our sizes recently, so ordered them online and they arrived in 48 hours. Impressed all round.
These shoes are very well made, they are formal enough for the school and casual enough for my son, the perfect balance. My son wears them for school and still manages to play sport during lunch in them. They have lasted a long time and have worn really well. We have now purchased a second pair as he has outgrown his first pair
