An all round great performance shoe that makes you feel safe

With the Gel Resolution 9 what you get is a brilliant performance shoe which has everything a player would want. Their durability from the AHARPLUS and PGUARD is the absolute best and the DYNAWRAP provides a level of support and stability that makes you feel protected no matter how aggressively you slide on the court (like i do) whilst absorbing a lot of the shock from all the explosive stop and starts. The Gel resolutions manage to do this without sacrificing comfort which isnt easy to do.I would strongly recommend these shoes especially to those who can move a lot on the court and want to feel safe when changing directions and moving in all sorts of ways as they will get the absolute most from these type of shoes. In the past ive suffered many ankle sprains and with these shoes on i feel safe that this wont happen. Their lateral support is incredible. As a coach who is on his feet for many hours a day (sometimes 8-10 hours) and who suffers from chronic plantar fascitis and ankle pain, i do find myself more at ease wearing Asics running shoes for long coaching days that are very low intensity and or rest periods as they take extra pressure of the arch and heel.I generally find tennis shoes specifically as they are stiffer, less cushioned and flatter than running shoes can sometimes flare up these problems for me as they are simply not typically built for 8-10 hour days, however if you don’t suffer from these problems these Gel Resolutions would be absolutely brilliant for long days as they do provide more comfort than other tennis shoes and are definitely more durable than any ive ever tried! To anybody looking for an incredible all round comfortable performance tennis shoe, definitely give this super stable and durable beauty of a shoe a go and you wont regret it.

These are the best, longest lasting, most supportive tennis shoes I’ve gotten from ASICS. I kept wearing out other ASICS in a few months time. The treads wore down fast playing tennis 6X a week and I eventually fractured my foot. My podiatrist told me I’ve got to have great supportive shoes playing tennis so much or I’ll keep fracturing my foot. I bought Resolution 9 last year & they lasted so long & I’ve had no injury. So I bought another pair. My only criticism is the white yellows as time goes by, even when you regularly clean them. The weird thing is only one of the shoes turned yellow~ish this last time. Go figure.

Comfort right out of the box.

I was too used to always having a little wiggle room in my shoes for comfort but then I thought to myself that in sports that require a lot of lateral movement, it's best to have tighter fitting shoes for better support. I walked around the house with them for about 15 mins and the tight feeling wasn't bothering me, just something that I wasn't used to right away I guess, so I decided to keep them. I played pickleball for 3 hours in the them and they were comfortable and supported me with the amazing grip and comfort all three hours. I mainly picked these shoes because of the durability tests in these because I wanted to spend less money on constantly buying shoes. if you are also on the same ... MoreWhen I first put in the shoes, I was a little worried they were too tight. Comfortable for wide forefoot, great stability
25 May 2024

I have finally found a tennis shoe with a wide enough forefoot and with exceptional lateral support to wear for tennis and pickleball. The gel-resolution 8 version was unbearably narrow for my foot, so I switched to a men's Asics Court FF2. The shoe had great stability but was a bit narrow in the toe box. When the new Gel-Resolution 9's came out, I wasn't sure how much they had changed the toe box, but decided to try them on at a store. The women's 8.5 was still a bit narrow for my forefoot, so I tried on the men's and it was so nice to have a bit of room for my toes and not feel squeezed. I've played with them the past month and absolutely love the fit, comfort, and stability of this shoe, so I bought a second pair. Narrow Shoes and Return is a Pain
11 August 2024

1. My usual shoe size is 8.5. I usually buy half or one size up when i buy Ascis because i like the feel of having some space in my shoes. This time i bought size 9.5. This pair is very narrow and it feels tight and i decided to return.2. I bought 5+ pairs Ascis and i never had to return because they were so comfortable. This time i had to return because it's too narrow. I started an online return and picked store return. Then i found the closest store is 300 miles away. I couldn't change the way of returning so i called the customer service at the 855 number. They said they couldn't change it neither but they can create a manual fedex label for me. However, there was an issue in creating the label. I called on 7/25 and 7/26, and they had the same issue. I emailed ... More1. My usual shoe size is 8.5. Quality is suspect

I've owned my Gel Resolution 9s for less than four months and the inside heel fabric has worn a hole. I expect that the hole will propogate to the point that the shoes will be trash within the next month or two. I am 66 years old and only use the shoes for Pickleball three days per week and the soles look close to new. Historically, I've been a huge fan of the Gel Resolutions. I've owned the 6s, 7s, 8s and now the 9s. I typically use my shoes for about 1-1/2 years until the sole exibits wear. I then typically use the shoes for another 1-1/2 years of yard work before throwing them away. My point is that I am not hard on shoes and that past Gel Resolution models have vastly exceeded my expectations. Worst customer service and warranty…

My pair came with 2 manufacturing flaws. There’s a lump of stitching in the left tongue that sits directly under a lace and gets pulled against the side of my foot, feeling like there’s a small rock in my shoe, and it’s painful. Second was the dynawall on the right shoe protruding way into the side of my foot. ASICS would not return or exchange the shoes because the flaws were not visible. I had to take a heat gun to the dynawall and shove it outwards to and play thru about 15 painful hours before the right shoe was tolerable. The issue with the left shoe still causes pain and numbness. If the shoes didn’t have manufacturing flaws I’d probably give them 4.5/5 rating. As for ASICS as a company though, I’m going with 1 star at best. What kinda company sells you a $150 ... MoreMy pair came with 2 manufacturing flaws. This was my first ASICS purchase and will also be my last.

Hard courts can be tough on shoes, but the GEL-RESOLUTION 9 is built to last. The durable construction, including a robust outsole, ensures that these shoes can withstand the rigors of hard court play. On the court, the GEL-RESOLUTION 9 performs exceptionally well. When I first bought my Gel Resolution 8's a few years ago, I knew I needed to invest in a decent pair of tennis shoes as was beginning to get heel and ankle injuries. I went to my local tennis shop and without any bias to colour or brand or price, tried on every single tennis shoe they had (every main brand high end tennis shoe you can think of) and the Gel Resolution 8 just immediately felt amazing. Comfortable and familiar as an athletic shoe but with so much support around the ankle and heel, I absolutely loved them. I play 2 or 3 matches a week and a practice session or two a week, and the outer sole grip on my 8s and 9s both lasted me about a year.. pushing it by the end but still playable!

[Rewarded Review] The best tennis trainers I’ve ever owned!
30 July 2024

I purchased these trainers after taking up tennis again. It’s been a while since I bought my last pair and crikey has technology come a long way! These are quite simply, the finest, most comfortable pair of tennis trainers I have ever owned! The fit is utter perfection. The shoe itself felt sturdy, yet lightweight and responsive and the cushioned insole was an absolute delight.Aesthetically, they look amazing! A love the 3D printed upper and the Asics detailing is striking, without being over the top.I was originally a bit reluctant to pay £135 for a of tennis trainers, but now I’ve tried them, I can honestly say they are worth every penny and then some!
