For this GPU itself, as controversial as the entire series is, upgrading from a 1070Ti to this 4070 has been massive. I've considered getting a 3080 or a 6800XT, but with a brand new 4070 at a cheaper price, lower power draw with the same relative performance? It's a no-brainer. Should it be cheaper? Probably. But with the 4070 falls shyly short of the 7900XT, there's no reason to even wait for the 7800XT if you're considering upgrading.

I bought this after consideration of the space inside the case as well as performance of(in) my Alienware R11 gaming machine. I recently purchased a VR bundled headset, and was told the stock RTX 3060 was on the weak side to run it. The suggestion was to get an RTX 4080, but it was kind of pricey as I had just spent $2500 on the VR stuff, I opted for the 4070 instead for half the price of what the 4080 was. And this card barely fits in the case by just a few millimeters. It's a huge card, but seems to handle things with ease. I'm happy.

This card came to me my hands ( from US to south east Asia ) in just 4 days..this is the most fastest delivery ever I experienced while shopping online. The box and card was intact, no damages.Installing was a breeze with the provided adapter. The cards a real beast when compared to my rtx3060. Huge fps boost at high to mid settings in game & with dlss I did get a huge boost. All games like cyber punk with ray tracing on is running above 60 fps constantly without any hiccups.The card looked pretty mature and fancy. The material used on it looks & feel really sturdy. I already had a pretty good GPU on the machine I built...but I bought a super-large larger monitor (admittedly, I'm a bit of a size queen) and the screen resolution exceeded the maximum size of that card--and I could tell!I installed this card and it made everything right in my world again! Install was easy (make sure your power supply has enough connectors and available power to run it!) and everything booted right up the first time. Performance is great on my Win 10 box and has more than enough power for me to edit my 100mp photos in Lightroom and Photoshop.Definitely recommend this card if you need a lot of graphics power!

I was glad that I waited out until after Christmas when the 4070S came out because I can now obtain 60FPS or better without DLSS on most of my titles (Forza Motorsport) in 1440p ultra with ray tracing with a 5700X. Frametime spikes are a thing of the past in Cyberpunk 2077.Despite being a smaller card that what it replaced, the build quality was just as robust as Asus cards of old. I just had to ensure that the 12VHPWR adaptor was seated correctly to avoid the maximum fan and black screen issue I encountered when I shook the card down.Compared to my 2070 Strix, there is zero coil whine and it runs comfortably at between 50-55°C under load with reasonable noise ... Great design. Overall, I had no issues as far as over heating and lagging due to performance testing. I had great results with some of the high demanding games like alpha simulator, Star Citizen, and ive experienced a huge difference and upgrade from my old RTX 3060 XC 12GBs. My only concern was the lack of any supportive software to help manage the parameters like, the option to assist in overclocking, and an interface that, in my opinion, user friendly. But other than that, great product, thank you.

This is a review of the AIB card compared to *other* AIB cards.I wanted to be able to stream in the AV1 codec with a 225W graphics card, and that's what is being provided.The fans are ultra quiet and I hear the coil whine over them instead of the fans. That's the goal when you've got such a huge GPU heatsink!I keep the card in Performance mode, instead of Quiet mode, and I still can't hear the fans over the coil whine.A card with lower power draw would have less coil whine.The Gigabyte card had a grinding noise when the fans would turn off.The FE card was actually a bit better than this, overclocked higher, but the fan was audible enough to be ... It is not that the Quadro P2000 is not a good card, it has served me well, but with the advent of Photoshop, Lightroom and other photo editing apps making greater use of the graphics card for the new functions they are rolling out I was finding running things like Lightroom denoise taking an absolute age e.g. in the range of 4 - 5 mins, or longer, on a 50 megapixel image. This was slowing down my image editing enormously, as well as raising my frustrations. The ADA architecture, Tensor Cores and 12GByte of DDR6 memory in the RTX 4070 has made a huge difference with the time taken for running LIghtroom denoise or Topaz Photo AI dropping to, at most, between 5-10 secs ... The Good:1. Amazing performance and synergizes perfectly with my PC and existing monitors.2. Set up was easy and took 20 minutes to unplug my old GPU and plug in the new one3. It came in perfect condition with no damage at allThe Bad:1. its hot, very hot, I recommend making sure you have adequate cooling as my PC has heated up enough at times that it hurt to touch.2. only one HDMI cable so if you have more than one HDMI only monitor I would buy an adapter to DPI or a new monitor.All in all its a 10/10, the performance makes up for any issues with heat.
