Everything I'd anticipated, small, sleek, powerful and yet so much quieter than the outgoing, 12-year old, "GTS 250" that it's replaced. I can't speak for how it compares with dual-fanned 3060 variants but it's audibly non-intrusive as far as I'm concerned. A great Ebuyer price coupled with a free Asus TUF M3 gaming mouse made this a sweet deal too good for me to overlook. Graphically it's provided excellent results in my two main uses of Autodesk Fusion 360 & Daz3D Studio with great aplomb whilst, in between times, all my games have been elevated to new levels.

Very cool card, idling at 27/8C and maxing at about 65C, and that's without undervoltage. So although it can be heard, it's much lower than the volume of the game, and more quiet than my 1060 which is quiet too. And everything is ultra settings for 1440p@60hz, cyberpunk 2077, hitman 3, Forza 5, ms flight sim, last of us P1, Witcher 3, and can be pushed to 4K, but only in certain games. At £260, with 12Gb ram, it's a quality card. And buy from Ebuyer if you want the guarantee as they're an authorised seller. Been stung by Amazon with the manufacturer saying that you have to RMA with the seller who doesn't exist anymore. Ebuyer will at least exist for the lifetime of the guarantee. Recommended product for high end 1440p gaming and AI!!!

Great single fan Graphics card, I fitted this into a 8 year old PC in a Midi Tower case, with windows 10 pro which found and installed the drivers without any issues. The motherboard has PCI Express gen 2 and this Graphics card is gen 4 but the card operated perfectly and I was able to run video @ 4K 60fps. I do not play games so this card is for video editing. Runs very quietly at 28c @ 40rpm default mode, displaying video @ 4K 60fps. The card is quite wide so will take up 2 slots. You will need to download the software GPU Tweak from the ASUS site if you want to control the card.

I Upgraded from a zotac 1060 6gb and the performance is a noticeable increase. Its got decent power efficiency and decent temps compared to my old card. The card has coil whine and can make weird noises while under load sometimes not sure if that due to this card or all of them. This card would be good for people upgrading from integrated graphics or 1060 6gb and below.I personally think this card under performs massively based on the name it carries.12gb is nice but the gpu chip itself isn't the most powerful. The rx 5700 xt got released in 2019 and offers far better price to performance than the rtx 3060.Also the gtx 1080 ti which was release in 2017 is faster than the 3060.3060 is between 2070 and 2080 in performance.Cant fault Asus as its a Nvidia ... The ASUS Phoenix GeForce RTX 3060 V2 is a great mid-range graphics card that offers impressive performance without breaking the bank. With a boost clock speed of 1777 MHz and 12GB of GDDR6 memory, this graphics card can handle most modern games with ease. Its compact design makes it an ideal choice for smaller PC builds, and it comes equipped with two fans that keep the temperature under control during intense gaming sessions. Overall, the ASUS Phoenix GeForce RTX 3060 V2 is a solid choice for gamers who want a reliable graphics card that won't break the bank.
My requirements are not that extreme, I basically needed a modern card with plenty of video RAM for 4k video editing in Davinci Resolve. For that purpose the card seems great so far, and solves my problem, although I have no real feel yet for the performance. I did appreciate that the card is small, so fits easily in my case. I needed to also upgrade my power supply, partly to satisfy the greater power requirements of the card, but also because my old power supply was not modular and lacked the required 8-pin PCI express power connector (and I didn't feel like trying to hack one in). Happily both upgrades were pretty easy. I opted for a quiet 'gold' power supply with more than enough power, and I'm very happy with the absolute lack of noise from the either power ... Been waiting for the price to come down on GPU's. Finally! This card is great overall. Great performance to power requirements (only 170 w) and small form factor. 2-slot design on the one I picked up. Great overclocker. Performance on par with the 3060 TI with the basic pre-configured overclock settings. Better than the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER according to Passmark. (19847.6 for this mildly overclocked versus 18183 for the stock 2070 SUPER and 18724 for the stock RTX 2080). The stock 3060 ti is only a little faster (20281 passmark score).Did I mention the price at Microcenter was reasonable as well?
I upgraded from a Nvidia GTX 1060 3GB. It is working great. The card is shorter than most other video cards that I have seen. Leaves plenty of room for the hard drives I have. I ran the FurMark ROG Edition at highest full screen resolution I could. GPU test and CPU test going on at the same time. It did go above the TDP a bit. The highest temps I saw was around 85 C. This is with 2 120 mm fans drawing in and 2 120 mm fans drawing out. So plenty of air flow. Running with 4 monitors while running these tests and no system or video glitching.I do not hear the massive fan noise that has been reported, but I do have 4 120 mm fans running, so they are that quiet themselves.
DISCLAIMER: I bought an Open Box June 2022 so this may not be indicative of the base 3060 Phoenix. As soon as my PC turns on a relatively high-pitched noise can be heard (I think from the fan as it doesn't sound like coil whine). The noise level is relatively low but constant and can be heard at all times while the fan runs from 30% speed (the lowest speed allowed) to max. Besides this, the fan itself is quiet enough below 50% but if you are going to be doing heavy duty gaming/work I would strongly suggest getting a card with better cooling as it is extremely loud past 50%.Aside from the noise the card performed within ~4% of 3060 average benchmarks and because of the small form factor it was easy to install. If you are going to be playing music constantly or ... I bought this card to replace my old RX 570 4GB because I was planning on doing 1440p gaming. Before I bought this card, I doubted that it would be able to properly cool itself with its single-fan layout. The stereotype is that these single-fan cards are always thermal throttling, and performing worse than the dual or triple-fan models. Nowadays, gamers want to look at their PC and see an ASUS ROG Strix card with shiny RGB and its triple-fan layout. Don't get me wrong, those cards are very good and in terms of looks, they leave this Phoenix card in the dust. But now with the GPU shortage, paying the extra buck for looks isn't worth it and some people will go to extreme measures to get their hands on one of them. When I went to get this card, I had the option of ... With 4 fewer GB of VRAM and lower specs, the triple-fan 3050 wasn't worth it to me.Once I plugged this graphics card into my PC, I was excited to finally have an RTX card. The performance increase was enormous. Even when I doubted that this card wouldn't be able to cool itself, it runs very cool even with my RX 570 right below it.At the end of the day, this card still has the same GPU as one of the multi-fan 3060s and will perform similarly. I am glad that I bought this card and have no regrets.
