this is basically a glorified wifi card. the bluetooth doesn't work in the slightest. and any attempts to get a hold of ASUS for assistance have been met with silence. very unprofessional >:(
Actual device works fine with my Wifi5 Router.I retained a Wifi4 router/extender that I had been using previously as a plug in Network Adaptor. So I used that to get the Drivers & save it to my PC Drive. Ran it from there.The manual could have been more helpful : What is a F_USB? Apparently USB 2 & above are compatible with it, it's for the Bluetooth capability of the card. The supplied cable connects the card to the a USB header on your Mobo, on top of the card going in a PCIe Slot.
Great product - good sales staff. Went in and asked for a wireless card or dongle for wifi to pc. Product works well, no dropouts from gaming (yet).
After giving my 10year old brother my Aorus WiFi 6 adapter I needed a replacement, so I bought this and I went from immaculate Bluetooth connectivity with zero drop outs to no my xbox elite v2 will disconnect after 30seconds and my Sony XM4 headphones will have intermittent audio cuts which makes listening unplayable.Other than that wifi performance is good, full bandwidth, with low latency and minimal spikes
There is a problem with this adapter, it does not show as a device on a sleep or restart boot. It only show on a full shutdown, pause and then start. Tried different drivers and a search of the net shows similar problems with no solutions. When I works it works well. I will wait for a driver fix before scrapping.
Powered down. Fitted card inti PCIE slot, Plugged into a spare USB header on my motherboard. Fired it up and it worked straight away on a Linux Mint PC.
Easy to install, worked ok at the start. after about a day or two I noticed the Wi-Fi would disconnect lots and soon enough I could never get it to work again. ended up trying a different option.
