I have officially made the change from Samsung and I am never looking back!Right out of the box, everything about the phone and packaging is impressive - it comes with a scannable AR intro to start your experience. The phone itself is incredibly light (about half the weight of my Galaxy S21+), has a gorgeously vivid display, and runs smoothly and quietly. The Aura Sync capabilities provide endless customization, as well as being capable of linking up to other ROG phones. Too cool!It did run fairly hot during set-up, but after all the updates were completed, it never got toasty again. Being able to go in and physically see how it's actually performing, much like Armory Crate on the PC, is super helpful!Definitely looking forward to the arrival of my gamepad so ...Ā MoreI have officially made the change from Samsung and I am never looking back!Right out of the box, everything about the phone and packaging is impressive - it comes with a scannable AR intro to start your experience. I don't know why the famous reviewers on YouTube didn't tell us the truth. This amazing phone can't be compared with any other product. It beats Apple and Samsung with a fraction of their price. I was about to setup a YouTube Channel to tell the people the truth. I have had Iphone x and I bought Samsung A54 a month before which was about to explode and my wife has Iphone pro max 15 but nothing like Asus ROG. Even though I have only the 5s version which beats the high end products of Samsung and Apple so, I can't imagine what the ROG 7 would do compared to them. I was skeptical about buying it as there isn't an honest review on YouTube. But, it is the fastest, smoothest and the most wonderful that I could ever dreamed of. It is really a great phone. Very fast and wonderful so far. It has been two weeks that I have it and it is only that during charging the battery gets a little hot as it is getting from zero to 100% in nearly 40 minutes with 6000 maph, otherwise, it is really amazing. I felt in love with it and it has changed my perspective towards the phone and the company. I will definitely buy the ROG laptop after saving for it. Thank you so much for connecting me to the digital world as I was tired of having slow phones to a degree that I was barely using phones.
Starting out, this phone is an absolute powerhouse just like advertised. There isn't an app available that I've found that even taxes this phones hardware. The battery lasts forever, I use my phone often throughout the day, calls, music, emails, basic stuff so not very demanding apps just always doing something on it. Even after a 14 hour day of work I'm still at like 30 percent battery.Playing games on this phone is so nice, the shoulder buttons work like a charm and I can get some good gaming hours in with the huge battery. The display is great, not as bright as some other flagship phones out there, but even in full summer sun, it seems to be extremely easy to see. The display is great, not as bright as some other flagship phones out there, but even in full summer sun, it seems to be extremely easy to see. I absolutely love the dual speaker set up, it's similar to my all old time favorite modern design smartphone the original HTC one. Call quality is normal, and much of the regular phone functions as one would expect with most texting and calling systems being fairly uniform across all phones at this point. Now on to some of the less good things. This phone is big, and it's heavy. Now I honestly was looking for this as I'm a bigger person and thought I would be fine with a bigger phone. But at times it's so awkward to use, it falls out of my hands all the time, and when typing one handed the palm detection almost never works right. The camera is fine I suppose, it's honestly quite a bit weaker than the iPhone 12 mini my fiance uses until you put it in manual mode, then it's actually fairly versatile. Still not anywhere nere some other flagship phones. It's a shame you have to pick and chose what features you want to be the forefront of the device. This phone is all about raw gaming power, Sony has the camera on lock down. And Samsung dumbs everything down to be just Okay at everything. There isn't a phone that it's the best at everything. I'm sure that market is to limited to make a phone for.Back to this phone, in fact this perticular phone here sold on Walmarts website via an outside company called World Phone. This phone is somewhat carrier unlocked in such that it just wasn't ever assigned a carrier. It's a Chinese market phone meaning you can't get it set up in the US. You can use prepaid plans, but are limited to 4g because the imei information isn't available to us carriers. I've been struggling with this since I tried to set up a plan with AT
Just got it yesterday and I'm really enjoying it so far. A lot of the time people only upgrade because they hate their previous device but I actually liked mine (Motorola ace) and it was in good condition. However I've never had a flagship phone before that I truly wanted and now I have one and it feels great. There are no drawbacks from this upgrade either. I have all the features I had and more. Never really cared for mobile gaming though but of course I'm gonna give some titles a go and stream games for the first time.
Since I have received my new Asus Rog 5s phone I am facing poor battery performance. Its having 6000mAH battery even though its not able to last for 24 hr for normal usage. Also my device has missing features like bypass charging, scout mode and hactice noise etc and not able to trasfer any file from device to my Asus laptop. Its not showing files after connecting with laptop.
Overall performance is great(performance beast),But finger print sensor is not working well, every time after so many attempt it's failed to unlock, you have to enter pin to unlock. And little bit touch issue on all corners of screen. Also fell bit lag in BGMI in 90fps settingsRequesting you to. improve these all things. As who ever person using Asus Rog it mease they preferred ROD over iPhone.Because in Android platform there is no competition with Asus ROG.So above mentioned points are basic need .Please do the need ful
ASUS Phone ROG 5sGreat1. Very good design, good finger print sensor, can unlock the phone without lifting it, convenient to use even with the volume buttons on the right side because of the landscape orientation for gaming, already got used to it.2. Extremely detailed configuration, tons of features (advantage of the latest Android OS), available for the user, pretty much customizable sounds for every application/event, etc. Although a good sound library would be great to get together with the phone and, ideally, even a few pre-loaded sound schemas, not just a single default sound for everything. It took a while to get the sounds from the internet free library and to setup the sound schema, that I like, including 20-30 application events to better understand whatās going on without unlocking the phone. It would be great if we could save our custom sound schemas and restore/import to another phone if necessary.3. Very nice and handy to get a phone case right out from the box, although it could be significantly softer and provide much better protection if the corners were thicker and it used a softer material. The currently used material is too hard and wonāt protect the phone if itās dropped. But I like this idea, really great! I use a colorless TPU case, I can see through it and itās soft enough to protect my phone.4. The phone is superfast. Itās powerful and I love the amount of RAM, the video, the screen and the CPU. Although an additional memory card would be great. I just bought a 1TB fast card and cannot use it with this phone. Pity.5. Very good sound quality during my phone calls and conference calls, using different internet tools.Bad1. The original configuration is rather unusual, than practical. It takes time to switch to a more familiar configuration with 3 buttons at the bottom, that I used to use for many years. Also the default configuration is missing some critical features like show the list of active applications.2. The speakers, although there are 2, are weak. Samsung Note 9 sounds better and louder, than 2 speakers in ROG S5, especially low frequencies, itās very easy to overload the speakers and get terrible distortions. Although a digital equalizer is a great addition and partially helps to solve the distortion issue.3. Cannot use both AirTriggers in everyday tasks, only the low one, while another one is useless. Could be a much better functionality if we could use both short/long to call 4 programmable applications at our choice, including taking a screenshot, that I use now.4. It would be great to have a sound schema or better a way to configure and store a few schemas. Say, every evening I have to go to the slider and set the volume for each sound for the night hours. If I could simply setup a desirable schema and store it I could simply pick it in just a few clicks.5. Itās very inconvenient, that when we change the sound volumes using slides the phone ādemonstratesā how it will sound. Imagine, if I do that before going to bed and someone is sleeping nearby, very irritating. It needs to be optional.6. The morning alarm seems to follow the main volume slider position. This is a very bad idea. Each alarm needs a way to ignore/override the system volume and sound like itās been programmed, starting with a low volume and increasing in time of not stopped. Some other phones are using this feature and itās very useful.7. The way you create/remove the additional panels on the home screen are extremely bad. We need a way to manually create a new panel without putting anything on it if we want to.8. There is no way of ordering the home panels, at least it not very obvious and I havenāt found it. Iām an IT professional and prefer to keep different screens, dedicated to different tasks: messengers, phones, home automation, setup, technical, network related, finance related, car related, etc. Once I add the required apps to some screens I cannot reorder these screens. I partially solved a problem by allowing the home screen to endlessly circle so I have a shorter way to get to the required screen, but I cannot change the order of different screen and itās inconvenient.9. I didnāt find a direct way to switch between the cameras in the photo application. Yes, there are different modes, like macro, portrait, panorama, etc., but for me, as a photographer, itās not 100% clear what camera the phone uses at any particular moment.Bugs and inconveniences1. I got the smart watch, connected to this phone and sometimes when I answer a phone call on the phone, the phone call starts on my watch speaker instead. There is no way to configure that and I had to disable the calls on my watch even if this functionality exists. It needs to be configurable.2. It took some time to figure out why YouTube video sound drops for 10 seconds or longer to almost silent if some event happens and the system alert sounds in background. I solved this issue with the required settings, but by default itās very inconvenient and it took time to understand why it is happening and how to fix the issue.3. It would be great to get a no-disturb mode and optionally disable the system sounds except the phone calls (switch to vibration?) if I watch some video or take part in a conference call and any extra sounds would and sound volume drops will interfere with the main process.4. Galaxy Watch3 Plugin ā the phone complains ā āTo get notifications on your watch, allow Galaxy Wearable access to your notificationsā. When I click the link it opens the Notification Access with a number of apps, where Galaxy Watch3 Plugin is shown as āAllowed accessā to notifications. Itās definitely a bug.5. Sometimes the phone shows, that either the Wearable, the Watch3 Plugin or both apps overload the battery. When I open the app history it shows, that both this app and plugin used only 0% of battery since the last phone restart. So this is another bug. Possibly this is an old version of Samsung apps and it doesnāt correctly communicate with Android 11 as expected, but it needs to get fixed whatever it is. Both 4 and 5 bugs are related.6. If I open the phone call log and click an item the phone immediately starts calling instead of asking what SIM, either 1 or 2, to be used for this phone call. It needs to be fixed.

Editing in Devices are more convienient then desktop..Im not asking all of that at once.. but for starting fase, we atleast want our own app that we can truly call our ROG editer..
