Does exactly what it's supposed to! Only wish the master knob controlled output globally when running all 8 outputs to a mixer, but that's a tiny complaint. The mixer has a master fader after all.

It’s not bad, but it’s not great. First of all it came with usbc cable that was faulty, took a while to work out the cable was faulty not the unit. Had to buy my own another $30 etc cost to unit. Second and more importantly the outputs are quite noisy at times. A strange hiss after short transient samples played in isolation is really annoying but you don’t here it in the mix really and the noise floor is loud at times. Overall sounds decent and all the inputs have been useful.

What drew me to this interface is the ability to switch phantom power on every mic input, which is hard to find on competitors in this price bracket. The two headphone amps sound great, as do the preamps. Expandability with the ADAT connectivity is a great feature and the signal routing options are welcome. I wasn't a fan of the very dark software mixer at first, but I'm warming to it now.Still getting familiar with it after my previous Motu interface, but I can honestly say it's good bang for buck.

Bought it several months ago for my studio. Smart gain is genius and relieves me of the previously very tedious level set up Amazing for recording several analog and digital instruments simultaneously. Makes my drums seem really open and wide So EVO16 delivers great sound, is easy to operate with very high quality pre-amps,lots of outputs and inputs. Simple decision really

The Evo 16 is the most smart interface I've ever used. It's simple and sounds awesome. Even better than some high priced audio interfaces out there. I love it!
So far meets and even exceeds my expectations. I was well briefed about this equipment and so far it is a revelation and still being explored. Great stuff
