The quality of the quilt is very good. It is very very warm in the cold. So if you do not like that warm, you can buy the 500 gsm one. I have bought 700 gsm which keeps me very warm in the night.

I purchased this 500 GSM quilt as advertised as having a cotton cover and very breathable. I used it for three nights and overheated to the point I could not sleep. I have never had this problem previously. The cover seems to have a plastic coating that does not breath. A waste of money!

This quilt is lovely and warm. Perfect for my 7 year olds bed. She stays in bed all night and says she doesn't want to get out in the morning because she's so warm.The only thing that could be improved is that it has a wool smell. I did air it outside before putting it on the bed but it still has a smell.

I was actually AMAZED, glad I opted for 500gsm not the 700gsm. So thick and light.... AND WARM!!! EXCELLENT QUALITY. The only thing that has me beguiled, there's no brand or manufacturers details, to be seen, ANYWHERE. Not on packaging or quilt!! It says 6 years warranty, but with who??

Australian made woolen doona perfect for the winter months. I purchased the 700g one because the temperature drops to -5 degrees or lower during winter. It is a big doona and although it has a nice cover, I purchased a cover to protect and keep it clean. I think you would need a commercial washing machine because of its size.

I bought the 700GSM wool quilt, haven't had a chance to use it just yet, as the whether has been too hot. Overall though, the quality looks good, well made and well stitched and feels soft to touch. I bought this as a winter quilt and was looking for something natural, clean, hygenic feeling without any of that stinky farmyard odor that "some" of those feather and down quilts can have. It didn't disappoint in that regard and also has some nice loft, which is a bonus for a wool quilt. Looking back, I perhaps should have got the 500gsm as more of an all year round quilt as this one does seem very warm... but should be perfect for our Melbourne winter.It doesn't feel heavy and has a nice weight for wool. I absolutely love my new doona. It's cosy warm with enough weight to make you feel snuggly without being too heavy. Being wool, it breathes so you don't overheat. The best winter doona I've ever owned.
