Super King Size 700GSM 100% Australian Made Merino Wool Quilt

Good quality doona. Bought the 500Mg which is very warm and snug for the Northern NSW winters. Have always had feather doonas so taking a bit of getting used to a different feel doona on the body which is more like a blanket feel than a fluffy feather doona.I am a big fan of merino wool so chose this product. Very happy with it so far. Definitely a good quality purchase at a great price

I bought the 700GSM wool quilt, haven't had a chance to use it just yet, as the whether has been too hot. Overall though, the quality looks good, well made and well stitched and feels soft to touch. I bought this as a winter quilt and was looking for something natural, clean, hygenic feeling without any of that stinky farmyard odor that "some" of those feather and down quilts can have. It didn't disappoint in that regard and also has some nice loft, which is a bonus for a wool quilt. Looking back, I perhaps should have got the 500gsm as more of an all year round quilt as this one does seem very warm... but should be perfect for our Melbourne winter.It doesn't feel heavy and has a nice weight for wool. AWESOME QUILT - SO WARM - SO HAPPY!

Hands down, this is the BEST HIGH QUALITY quilt that delivers what it promises. Beautifully thick, yet lightweight, good density of wool, lovely cover. I literally tried 2 other companies quilts (had to send back as they were NOT ‘winter weight’ as described) so I feel really lucky with this BEAUTIFUL LUSH SNUGGLER quilt. Customer service & their terms are also top notch and SO MUCH better than other companies I’ve dealt with. Just so PLEASED to have the quilt of my dreams that meets expectations. I bought the 700gsm wool quilt doona after reading reviews online. I had hoped it would be as good as the reviews and I can honestly say it has exceeded expectations. I am ALWAYS cold and before using this I had 6 blankets and 1 doona on. I can’t get too rugged up with clothes so I have to use covers to compensate. I now have one light blanket just for the softness against the skin and the doona. I’m so warm and toasty. My son had slept in my bed for a night and also commented that it was so warm he didn’t want to get out of bed. I’m thinking of replacing all our doonas to this. Seriously don’t need any other bedding. You guys should advertise. Absolutely awesome product.

Good BUT,,,,,,

I bought one of these bad boys (King Snuggler 700GSM) few seasons ago. I really like it. Good weight and feels great. However, the ratings on these things are way overstated. You'll be reaching for a 2nd blanket when the temperature hits 12/13/14 degrees Celsius, easy. The type of reviews that say this is perfect for temperatures like Melbourne, weather, I don't think so. Yes, I get that some people sleep cold, some warm. I'm probably in the middle. You would not have happy nights sleep below 10 if this was the only thing you had. 4 stars because its good quality and I have no issue putting on additional layers when things get cold - I was never looking for a dunar to rule them all. :)

Oh no! Too light!

My first thoughts on wriggling under my new Halcyon Dreams doona. How wrong I was. Within a very short time warm as toast and all night. And not just me, but it seemed to warm the entire mattress area. Love it! I have always used an electric blanket and, in fact, it was the recent death of my blanket that caused me to look at doonas. With this doona you will definitely not need an electric blanket. Now can’t wait for my Halcyon Dreams wool underlay to arrive. I may never leave my bed again!

Warm, light weight, perfect for cold weather

I needed a really warm quilt suitable for the colder Tasmanian weather. After much research, I decided to go with Halcyon Dreams Wool Quilt - The Snuggler 700GSM Ultra Warm. When the product arrived I was sceptical at first as the quilt is relatively thin and not fluffy like a duck feathered quilt. We tried it out and boy was I surprised.My partner who is sensitive to the cold said he was warm all night. He loved the fact it was light weight as he hated the weight of the double blankets we previously used.I highly recommend the Snuggler 700gsm if you live in colder climates.

Who needs a weighted blanket - Pure Opulence 700GS

Purchased the Pure Opulence quilt in May 2020 in preparation for winter. Wow! What a beauty! You dont need a weighted blanket thats for sure. This quilt is so snuggly warm and comforting, my husband was like a big kid getting in bed and was sad when I packed it away for the summer this week. He is a FIFO worker and lamented he missed the quilt while he was away!! I've recommended Halcyon Dreams quilts to anyone and everyone! I've just had two pillows arrive and am seriously considering an afternoon nap just to try them out :)

Worth every cent. Best quilt ever!

After reading the reviews and going through a freezing winter last year I was adamant I would find a quilt to keep us warm this year. I’m someone who really hates the cold and I count down the days till the end of winter. I bought the 700gsm and from the first night I’m in LOVE. So lofty, snuggly and warm. It feels luxurious. I don’t have to wear that many layers of pjs to stay warm under this quilt. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Now thinking of buying a woollen underlay.
