Aveeno Oat Milk Blend Conditioner 354ml

This is a beautiful conditioner. Leaves my hair feeling soft and amazing, while being very affordable. Also smells delicious, has a sweet and milky type of scent. The smell is perfectly strong, not weak but not overwhelming either. Not only does it make my hair feel amazing, it also soothes and nourishes my scalp. Definitely worth trying out!

I've been a long time consumer of Aveeno lotion products, so when I heard about their new line of shampoos and conditioners, I was full of expectation.After using the Aveeno Oat MIlk Blend Shampoo several times, I can say that this shampoo is decent, but not the best. It's not the best shampoo I've tried, but it does keep my hair relatively smooth and easy to comb after drying. This shampoo was a bit too heavily perfumed and smelled a little too musky for my tastes.I have long straight, medium-thickness hair that reaches to my waist, so I do use a decent amount of shampoo and conditioner each time I wash my hair. The bottles I got are 12 fl. oz. so I don't expect them to last very long. Overall, this shampoo was just okay. I will still use it until I finish the bottle, but I don't know if I will use it again. I will have to find another Aveeno shampoo that fits my hair type.

Amazing shampoo

I decided to switch from my expensive, cult followed shampoo brand ($50 for 1 small bottle). I chose this shampoo (oat milk blend) because it is free of sulfates and parabens. I LOVE this shampoo. After 2 uses I saw outstanding results - my hair was softer and shinier. I haven't had any trouble with lather - like most shampoos, the first application doesn't lather much, and my second application of the shower lathers really well. I have been using this and the associated conditioner for 2 months, and I definitely won't be going back to my boutique shampoo

Awful

Easily the worst shampoo and conditioner I've ever used, and I've been on this planet for 60 years. Turned my hair into a dry, ratty, tangled mess. I tore out a handful of hair trying to get a comb through it after my shower. Truly bad. Aveeno used to make a shampoo and conditioner in smaller bottles that was just fantastic, and then they discontinued it. I thought this might be the same stuff. It's definitely NOT.

Bad for sensitive skin and scalp

(Long Rant) I was having a really stressful time during 2020 and was experiencing lots of hair loss because of it, I would itch my head out of worry and it would leave scabs. I had been using OGX shampoos then and thought maybe I should switch to something less harsh for a while. I came across this Aveeno shampoo that was soft and paraben and sulfate free. I got this exact type and it worked well at first, since it was gentle it wouldn’t clean as deeply but it was reducing my itch and scabbing. I then tried the pink probiotic one, the cider one, as well as the rose water one, and none yielded results. I then gave up on this brand all together because I felt embarrassed to wear a tank top outside when my shoulders were covered in eczema. The shampoo touching my back and shoulders had caused ALL OF THIS. I put my notions of buying an expensive brand so it works and ended up just buying a “itchy scalp” shampoo from head and shoulders. My scalp itchiness and eczema recovered in a few months. This is so disappointing for a brand who prides itself on being for sensitive skinned people. I spent so much time using steroid creams when it was this shampoo that ruined my skin and not normal eczema :(

Dried out my hair! looks damaged

I just bought this shampoo because I am allergic to sulfates and have a very sensitive scalp. Previously, I used the aveeno pure renewal sulfate free and it was great, but I can't find it in the store anymore. So I went with this because I thought it would be just as good since it is aveeno. After the first shampoo, when drying my hair, it looked fried and tangled. My hair was very healthy as I never use heat on it, dye, or do any chemical process because of my sensitivities. I do not know what is wrong with the oat milk shampoo. I ended up having to put a deep conditioner in and hope it will restore my hair, but oh my it is awful. So disappointed that I spent $9 on this and need to throw it in the trash.

Great formulation for my hair

Excellent conditioner. The inclusion of amodimethicone works great for my hair; this silicone is resistant to build up, it attaches to damages areas of the hair and then repels itself thereafter. Silicones are a functional inclusion in hair care products; they do their job and they do it well. Also, the reviewer who had their hairdresser “gently” scrape their scissors over their hair shaft to reveal silicone build up is misguided. All this hairdresser has done is scrape cuticles off of the hair. Besides, silicone build up is not an issue, even with those that do not repel themselves, are not able to be rinsed with water provided you use an appropriate surfactant to rinse them away (most will do this just fine, even the “natural” ones). Great shampoo and conditioner! I have very fine hair and struggle with finding something that won’t make my hair staticky or weigh it down. I find most “moisturizing” shampoos too heavy and make my hair look a greasy mess by the second day but not this set. I am very pleased with this purchase and recommend to those with fine hair who are looking for their shampoo to shine and soften. I didn’t even put the conditioner on my roots and my hair is soft and not dry. Great stuff!
