Aveeno Rose Water & Chamomile Blend Conditioner 354ml

I really like most Aveeno products (the lotions and this shampoo/conditioner combo are my top two). This has a lovely, fresh scent. When I saw “rose water” on the label, I thought of the typical flowery perfume-y smell. This is NOT what it smells like at all. It’s fresh floral, but not overpowering. I have a very sensitive scalp that tends to react to a lot of shampoos. This did a great job of lathering cleaning my hair without leaving it feeling “stripped”. Once dry, my hair smelled lovely, was shiny and it kept my oily roots at bay for a few days! A win all around. I’ll be buying it again when I run out.

For years I have been searching for a shampoo that won't dry out my hair, that actually CLEANS it, but without stripping it dry. This is IT! My fine waves (1c - 2a hair) is not weighed down, and the roots do not get greasy until day 3. I found the conditioner that goes with this shampoo came out really thick, which gave me high hopes for moisture, but it didn't moisturize my ends very well at all. The perfect combo for me? This Aveeno Rose Water and Chamomile Shampoo, with Nexxus Humectress conditioner on the ends. Every day. My hair has never looked or felt better! :)

As sensitive as a hedgehog

This was extremely disappointing. It stings my scalp and is extremely, unpleasantly perfumed to a point where it sets off my allergies. I really thought it being marketed as natural/soft/sensitive would mean a more delicate scent...but nope. I ended up looking it up and it turned out it has a few irritating ingredients...particularly, ROSE WATER. It's absolutely nuts that companies still shill it as in any way being sensitivity-friendly. So is companies that still insist on fragrances; it's been a while since I showered yet the smell is still lingering in my hair and I absolutely hate it and know for sure it smells nothing near as delicate as actual rose water. All in all a disappointment and waste of a very intriguing formula.

Best Shampoo & Conditioner ever!!

To keep it short: I would absolutely recommend this shampoo if you're looking for amazing performance, no leftover residue, and a very gentle smell. A few weeks ago a friend had told me that she used this shampoo at a friends house and absolutely loved it. A few days later she went out and got it. After a few washes my hair is softer, sleeker, shinier, and has absolutely no residue. My hair has never felt this clean before! I would absolutely recommend this shampoo if you're looking for something to eliminate gross and sticky residue found from other drug store shampoos, a soft scent and amazing performance.

Feels very detergenty

It does the job but smells very perfumey. Makes me suspect it’s not as caring for your hair as it makes out. It doesn’t contain SLS but i think the alternative cleansing agent might not be any better for your hair. My hair felt like it had a coating after I’d dried it. If you want a proper, nourishing, sulphate free shampoo then look elsewhere. Seems very overpriced for a bog standard shampoo.

What an amazing find is this?! Rose and chamomile were engaged to give me the most soothing self-care experience that is packed in a shower - well that's a joy I never take for granted as a parent for sure. Since my time for self-care is limited, you would understand I cannot just use any product. Certainly I do not have the time to keep switching... So I wasn't sure how I would feel, but I was definitely intrigued with the gorgeous design & noticing they left out the harmful chemicals! Color me interested! This conditioner helped with it, no more crunchy feeling strands. I was sent this conditioner for free in exchange for sharing my opinion, but I enjoyed my experience enough to already decide to go for this particular shampoo & conditioner set in rose water and chamomile combo.

Nice Smell, but Itchy Scalp and Loss of Hair

I bought this shampoo and conditioner about two months ago and I honestly loved the smell and how it made my hair feel. However, for the first time in my life, I started to have extremely itchy scalp and dandruff. After about a month of using it, I noticed that my hair started falling out and a fair amount too. I get my hair trimmed regularly and only style with heat maybe once a week. I thought it was some other hair products I was using since this seemed to be a more natural product, but after cutting those out for almost 3 weeks, my scalp continued to keep flaking and stay super itchy. I finally stopped using this product and my scalp improved within a week. Despite my reaction, I did love the smell and how shiny my hair was. Probably the best haircare line I've ever used!

I recently accepted a job that warranted daily shampooing/conditioning which is something I have not done in over 10 years. I was worried about my hair becoming even drier and less healthy which is why I chose the Rose Water and Chamomile Blend line. I am relieved and so glad I did! My hair is so soft, shiny, and not dry at all and I have long, 24 inch and thick, Hispanic hair. My hair gets clean enough where I'm not worried about gross stuff from work, but the conditioner is so thick and penetrating my hair doesn't feel stripped. I highly recommend this product ESPECIALLY if you live a lifestyle for daily hair washing like athletes, nurses, or in my case animal care.

The Best Shampoo/Conditioner I’ve Found in Years!

I have been using this shampoo + conditioner for about 5 months and I am in love with it. I was actually kinda surprised by how many negative reviews there were. I’m not even a person that prefers flowery-scented products at all, but I don’t find the smell of it unattractive or overpowering. I have longer wavy/curly hair, experience a lot of hairfall and an oilier scalp, and I was really struggling to find something that would mostly help with my scalp, as it would get really flaky, but oily, and then I would pick at it a lot, causing it to get even oilier obviously. And dandruff shampoos weren’t helping. To say this shampoo exceeded my expectations is an understatement. It leaves my scalp and hair feeling so clean but not dried out. Washing it less has improved my hair quality so much - it has never looked this nice at the length it is now and the quality of my curls has improved so much as well. I just love this stuff!! Whenever I get complimented on my hair, I pretty much use it as an opportunity to tell them about this stuff and recommend it to everyone. To be honest, it has not helped with the amount of hairfall I still experience, but that’s it as far as cons go. I did have one moment where I switched back to using a different shampoo/conditioner, and my scalp reverted right back to being super oily by the next day, and since then, I have not gone back to using anything but this stuff. I even went and stocked up on a bunch of bottles of it, which I’m glad I did because I see a few drugstores where I live have this stuff on clearance right now. So I have a sinking feeling it’s being discontinued, which makes me so sad.

Worst conditioner I’ve ever used

Ended up using the entire bottle on my hair and it could not even detangle it. Hair does not feel soft, feel conditioned, does not feel like it penetrated the strands. I spent half an hour trying to work the product into my hair, detangling with a wide tooth comb and even squirting the product directly onto my hair and it did not work. Please save yourself the money for something that actually works. This conditioner is the worst I have ever used.
