Avene Gentle Milk Cleanser 200ml

I was searching for a cleanser that was effective at removing dirt and makeup but still gentle on my sensitive dry skin. I have used avene’s water mist before and it always calms down my skin when it gets irritated, so I thought I’d try this cleanser. It works great, is so gentle on my skin and doesn’t strip the moisture. I only took one star off because it smells a little perfumey to me, however my skin hasn’t reacted to it so it doesn’t seem to be an issue.

I love this gentle cleanser. I have always had dry acne prone skin that results in redness after I wash my face at night, but not after using this cleanser from Avene. It is my absolute favorite, cause it leaves my skin feeling clean, hydrated and not irritated. All their products are non comedogenic and hypoallergenic so it suits someone with acne/red skin well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has any kind of skin problem.

Really nice and gentle, so perfect for sensitive skin. I’d also read somewhere that milk cleansers are meant to be really great for dry skin and I found that it actually did make the dry skin on my forehead, cheeks and round my nose a lot better. I used this cleanser alongside Avène’s Gentle Toner and I think they work really well together. When I used this combo, my skin was great for a while but eventually I began to develop spots and so I felt like I had to change my routine. The cleanser is £12 from Boots and the toner is £11.50 which isn’t too bad for luxury skincare. I would recommend this product for those who have dry skin but maybe not to people with oily skin.

Good quality product, does what it promises. Cleanses, is gentle on the skin. Didn't give 5 stars because it lacks that special something. I think I would use it again, though.

This is a great, super gentle, milky cleanser. And versatile! It can be used as a first cleanse to remove sunscreen (and makeup if u wear it) when double cleansing and it can be used as a regular cleanser! My skin feels so soft after I use this! I tend to use it more as a 2nd cleanse but I do fairly often use it as a 1st cleanse. It’s not oily at all. I’ve never left it on my skin or just wiped it off, I’ve always rinsed it off so I can’t speak to the leave on aspect of it. But it’s extremely hydrating, gentle and effective. My skin especially in the inter is very sensitive, dry, red and itchy and for the longest time I thought to get rid of my acne I had to use all that harsh crap that drys out your skin! One girl I knew recommended this to me cause she has very sensitive red skin! I have it a shot and at first I was very sceptical because it doesn’t really foam, and I’m so used to thinking only foaming cleaners can deeply clean your skin! Well I was very wrong this stuff is sooo soothing, and amazing and takes all makeup and deeply cleans my skin! I couldn’t recommend this enough! I’ve been using it for almost a year now and I don’t see myself changing any time quick! It’s amazing

Awesome cleanser for sensitive skin however it contains fragrance which I’m not a fan of. Other than that it’s a pretty good cleanser for after oil cleansing. This cleanser alone isn’t capable to remove heavy makeup and is highly recommended to cleanse with an cleansing oil before using it👍🏻

Silky texture. Great bottle. Isn’t too rich/oily. Easy to wash-off. Suitable for morning and night cleansing. My skin is never dry after using it and I haven’t suffered any irritation. It has an interesting scent but no added fragrance.

I was nervous switching from my expensive brands I normally buy for something I found at a drug store, but this cleanser works better than any product I’ve ever tried. Not only does it leave my skin feeling clean without that tight feeling, it also nourishes it making my skin better over time. It’s my holy grail skin care and I’ll never switch to anything else. It’s such a great price, a little goes a long way, it improves my sensitive maturing skin, it has no nasty scents, and feels more luxurious than luxury products.
