If you plan to buy, having a full party of 4 you can play with every day will make your experience a lot better. I wouuld've rated the game higher, but I completely disagree with the developers' pricing tactics, and their greedy ass price points. This is the most expensive game I have purchased in years, including preorder of Cyberpunk. With that being said, the difficulty in this game is ridiculously imbalanced. Recruit is WAY too easy until about end of act 3, and then even so, it's not even that hard. So maybe you want to increase the difficulty to veteran? No. The difficulty spike from recruit to veteran is night and day. Don't care to get too much more into it, but after finishing recruit, I felt no desire to play through again.

If you are a fan of the left 4 dead games then you will be a fan of this. Very similar to the l4d gameplay but modern with new characters, weapons, infected and they have introduced a card system to make every single time you play a different experience. Which I thought was a really cool twist as the game cant get repetitive that way! Youre able to play online and offline either way the attention to detail is amazing and the gameplay is challenging. This is a must have for any l4d or call of duty zombie fans.

I've been playing this game very frequently since I got it last October. I'm glad the developers of the L4D franchise went their own direction and created this game. The gameplay is very awesome and the playability is extremely high due to no match really being the same. The additional content the producers released recently only amplifies the playability. 10/10 would recommend.

Great game. I did get that feeling of nostalgia, from the days of playing L4D back then on Xbox 360 BUT of course, the difference being the addition of a card system to help you build a deck to form your own playstyle that suits you and could be beneficial to the team be it a Healer, melee only or pure power and more. And of course the graphics. However there were many things that I wish this had from L4D such as musical cues for specials and hordes, zombies fitting in into their locations and the list goes on.Do I think this was a good spiritual successor to L4D. Not exactly but it is a great game with its own thing which is obvious in this one.
Back 4 Blood is far from perfect, but it gets 5 stars from me because of it's solid gameplay. Another reason that sealed the 5 star rating was Best Buys beautiful Back 4 Blood Steel Book. So just to be clear, you get the original blue case with the game disc and the slip cover, plus the separate steel book case. The steel book case is a work of art front and back and it glows in the dark too. So cool and an awesome addition. I love it. Aside from that, ignore the backlash this game is getting from other game players or critics. The gameplay is solid and so are the graphics. Buy it with the steel book. So worth it!
Got this for free with a game that I bought, but after getting home and opening the case the backing was almost completely ripped and the case was super close to just falling apart. Along with the spine being ripped the case was also dented in multiple places. I am super unhappy as it being free I could not get a replacement. But definitely feel as if I should have been able to get a proper working product as a replacement to not getting on the the first time around
This game gets too much hate. The game is really good just be warned that it is not left 4 dead and it is hard. Once you build up enough supply points and put on the better cards in the game it actually gets quite easy. However to fully enjoy the game you need to have at least 2 friends to play with because with the ai it is boring and sometime not possible and with randoms from mostly gamepass on xbox its also impossible because they rarely work together as a cohesive team and that is required to play the game. Although the game has its bugs I'm hopeful the developers will be working hard to fix the issues including with any preorder bonuses some might have.
So let's get the elephant out of the room, is this a worthy successor to L4D? For me I think it is, even though I didn't grow up playing it but I know of it's Legacy and have played it a great deal and understand why people love it and to the more radical L4D fans it won't be worthy if it wasn't named L4D3 which I think it's unfair. I'm honestly enjoying the game a lot and it has lots more maps then I thought it would based on the Beta but I'm happy I'm wrong (almost makes you think you shouldn't make a final conclusion based on a beta lol but in today's age it's understandable.
Well what can I say about this game? After been playing World War Z, this game has brought to a whole another level of zombie killing, I mean, RIDDEN killing. It’s such a pretty game too.Environment: it’s so dynamic that they kept changing weather surrounding, I love the part about it, it’s so unexpected and you don’t know what you’re getting yourself into.Gameplay: once you get the hang of the card systems, it’s easier to get through the games with your preferences. Plus using weapons, bombs, and etc.I can’t comment further but all I can say if you love Left 4 Dead/2, you’d love this game.
Game is an absolute must if you enjoy your shooter up, zombie horde video games. From the creators of the original Left 4 Dead brought another title of the same genre. Some might say very similar to the first L4D, not the L4D2 game. Basic storyline that keeps you and your other 3 team members across town to achieve an objective as you discover more and more about the Undead. Online services can support co-op play with PS, Xbox, and PC gamers as well (option to not cross platform is available), and solo play with NPCs.Best Buy also has a neat Steelbook case if you can find it.
